    What a disappointment. First of all, we were seated at a poor table facing the kitchen. More importantly, we ordered four steaks and they cooked two of them completely wrong. They then recooked two new steaks and, believe it or not, screwed it up again! They then tried to recook to the point they were literally inedible. So half of our party had finished diner and the other half never really got their entrée. They told us they would comp the two steaks and gave us a tray of deserts to compensate. However, when we got the bill we had to review the bill twice as they were still overcharging - charging us for one of the steaks we never got. Crazy really. The whole point of a dinner at a place like this is getting the service and steak prep right. As far as I'm concerned, they completely botched the whole thing. Sad, as I've been there frequently and never had such a horrible experience before. Yet this was one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had, anywhere.

    Mediocre at best. It's a shame because the restaurant itself is gorgeous with beautiful ambiance but the food and service don't even come close to matching the setting. Grilled artichoke - exactly that, nothing more. Bluefin toro crispy rice - good. Greek salad - drenched in dressing, far too wet. Bib salad - good. Porterhouse - good. Filet trio - completely overcooked. Onion rings - awful, soggy and not at all crispy. Mac & cheese - good. Mashed potatoes - good. Ora King salmon - dry and overcooked. Branzino - decent flavor but nothing special. Asparagus - burnt beyond saving. For this price point, playing a hit or miss game with every dish is a total waste of time and money. Everything should be cooked right the first time. The service was worse than the food. Our waitress asked for our order after drinks... but never gave us menus. When the entrees arrived, the plates had visible dirt on the tops and large smudges underneath. Our server disappeared when we needed her. The manager only came by after we had eaten half our meals, too late to fix anything and her response to our concerns was, "Thank you for your feedback." That's not service, that's deflection. This place is clearly being run by people who are underqualified and untrained. If the manager can't even handle a basic service issue professionally, there's no hope for the rest of the team.

    Don’t believe the hype! We sat for 20 min before a server came. Although When he came over he was very nice. The food had no flavor! We had to keep adding salt and hot sauce. The cinnamon roll was dry. I expected something warm and gooey. So over priced! I will never go again or recommend anyone going here!

    Heard and read "exceptional" but the experience was far from it. Halibut was overcooked and dry. Sadly did not send it back, I was with a work colleague who would not have understood. The bar made an easy drink wrong and the entire MEH lunch cost a fortune. Value, yikes. Will not return at these prices every meal should be memorable.

    The food is always great at BALTAIRE. We enjoyed ourselves and our server Jose, who was very friendly and welcoming. Beautiful restaurant fun crowd great food.

    Great brunch with great service and excellent food. Lots of food so bring an appetite Highly recommended any of the steak and eggs combos and cinnamon buns for dessert
