Had a great time on thursday. Location was a bit quiet, but greatly enjoyed the family fries as appetizers and the amazing brussel sprouts (not your mom's brussel sprouts! Bacon makes everything better). Great beers, including IPAs, Imperial stout and an interesting watermelon one. We had burgers and one person had mac and cheese. All great -- really, really good burgers! Enjoyed a shared tiramisu to end. Great and fast, friendly service. Really couldn't asked for more.

It was my first time visiting long time later ,and I found the place strangely empty on a Saturday night. Outside, they have a beautiful bar area, perfect for summer, but it was closed off with black shade curtains that obscured its charm. Unfortunately, I’ll be going to other places from now on.

We understand your surprise at the slower pace during your visit, it was a quiet Saturday for us as we headed into the long Memorial Day weekend. Historically, we do see lighter crowds on Saturdays during 3-day holiday weekends, which is why we chose to keep the patio bar closed in anticipation of that trend. That said, Memorial Day Monday brought an incredible turnout! We had a packed house enjoying our $5 pint specials and Burger Monday deals, and the energy was fantastic. We’d love the opportunity to welcome you back on a livelier day or during one of our special events, we’re confident you’ll get to experience the full charm of the space!

I love Ballast Point, but not for a Mother’s Day breakfast. 30$ a person for slowly served bad scrambled eggs, and constantly waiting for everything else to be restocked. Again every other day we are there it is awesome.

As this was our first ticketed brunch, we kept pricing at $25 per adult and $5 per child to create an accessible, family-friendly experience—but we understand the execution missed the mark. Environment was good with indoor and outdoors Buffet. Loved the juice and coffee station. I wish there was tea option. There wasn’t enough food variety and refill of food was slow especially indoors. There were many people waiting for bacon and it took over 20 minutes wait. Still had a nice brunch overall.

We had a great experience all around! The service was great, the food was delicious and place is really cool. Huge selection of beers to choose from. Our server Matt was awesome!! Super friendly, very helpful with choosing beers we liked and on top of everything!

Max was a great sever and treated us like royalty. Not just us though, every table and person/staff he interacted with. The food and drinks were great as always but service was superb.

Very pleasant experience - it was a first for the restaurant at Ballast Point. Outstanding service and the food was good. I hope they will do things like this in the future!

Overall, very disappointing. No "real" service, no waitstaff, and you get your own water. Just not a feel of a restaurant, everything is ordered online, and it's no cheaper with fewer staff serving you. Very little if any ambiance, just a large space that was so much better when it was still locally owned. Sadly, this is the first review I've done on Open Table that wasn't positive...
