   We had great service. Delicious food. Friendly and efficient. Food came out just as ordered. We weren’t rushed but were taken care of in a timely manner. Will return for sure.

   Balboa Surf Club is always a good choice for meeting friends at lunch! The three of us enjoyed sitting in one of the half round banquet tables - feels private and easy to visit without interruptions. The food was to everyone’s liking - I had the trout - and would recommend! So glad this place is nearby!

   As soon as we finished the main course the waiter place the bill on the table . Never asked if we are having dessert or if we want another drink

   Service was a little inconsistent, one person got our drinks, another our food, another took our check.. just hard to tell who we were tipping, but the quality was great. Noise level of the patio unfortunate due to the busy road, but nothing that can be done about that. Immaculate space none the less

   What a lovely time! High quality experience. We had mentioned my wife’s allergy and they were kind enough to inform us of possible crossing of ingredients and assisted us in making a better choice. Couldn’t ask for a better commitment to excellence. Real great experience

   The food is always very good. Well made and fresh ingredients. The wait staff is nice, but they do not know how to service tables very well. Always having to ask for utensils., salt, and what have you. Bringing one persons order and not the others at the same time, so one had to wait while their food gets cold. Trying to take your plate away while you are still eating. The music is never pleasant either, always to loud.....One can hardly hold a conversation. Not good choices for music. The blinds, (we sat next to the windows) were covered in a layer of dust....

   Guacamole was good Coconut shrimp and dipping sauce was delicious. Sushi was terrible. Not a great choice for this place. Not sure what the go to dishes are so tried a few things. The service was attentive.

    The food and cocktails were great and the service was good. Really enjoyed the menu options and everything was delicious. Definitely a good time.
