Welcome to Bacco Ristorante Italiano!
"Bacco" is a family run restaurant, situated across the road from Richmond station. We serve great, authentic Italian food, using fresh seasonal ingredients. We are very passionate about home cooking, therefore we make our own fresh pasta, focaccia | ciabatta bread and desserts. We have an extensive Italian wine list, ranging from small producers from different parts of Italy to well-known vineyards such as Antinori.
Our Alfresco dining can sit up to 50 guests. The terrace is heated during the cooler seasons.
"Vinoteca" - our private dining area, is available on request for large groups, whereby we can sit up to 30 people.

Frito misto slightly disappointing in that it was overwhelmingly strips of zucchini with a tiny amount of seafood - the expectation it should be mostly seafood The pasta was delicious and expertly prepared, the portion only just adequate The waiting staff are all cheerful, polite and efficient. For the meals delivered it is very expensive indeed, almost excessively so.

we (2 of us) were there for an early supper (16:45) before the theatre next door (Orange Tree). This may have contributed to it being quiet bu that is an observation not a criticism. The food asnd service were excellent. We had a really nice time. I would recommend this place (it is also very handy for the Railway station).

A quiet birthday lunch á deux, just what we wanted. The Frito Misto to share was delicious and an ideal quantity. The pasta al tartufo was as good as always and the lamb steak was quite the best we have ever had.

We ate here on a Saturday at 5pm before the theatre. We sat just inside the window as it was pretty hot. Didn’t appear to be any aircon however. Most were outside on the large and pleasant patio area - fronts onto the road however. Service was very prompt and helpful, and our starters and mains were all tasty and well-prepared. My lamb steak special was delicious but a little difficult to cut through the sinew running through it. On the whole a very good experience, recommended.

Had a brilliant fathers day dinner here. We were one of two groups there so not much of a bustling vibe but that worked out well as my dad prefers quieter meals and we could hear each other without issue. The food was delicious and came so quickly. Would definitely go again!

I visited the restaurant with family following a rugby match at Twickenham on Saturday 14 June 2025. Excellent food, with a relatively small menu. Service was equally good. I love Italian food and this restaurant serves good Italian food.
