There was no point in us making a reservation. There was no table ready for us when we got there. 4 other people were also waiting for a table and got rude with us cause we got the table, no explanation from staff to the people queuing instead we had to explain it. We ordered straight away. No drinks came. Then 20 minutes late they tell us they lost our order - instead of taking our order again the guy disappears and someone else comes to "confirm" our order which wasn't ours at all. We order again and they promise our food will take priority , it didn't because people who came after us finished and paid well before we did. Had to ask for the drinks 3 times before I eventually went to the bar to get it myself. When starters arrived one was missing, our main came an hour an twenty minutes after we ordered. No apologies, no complimentary drinks or reduction of bill. It was my friends b day and it was impossible to enjoy the evening through all the frustration, disbelief and hunger pains

We ordered and shared a selection of appetisers and main courses and the food was delicious. The service was excellent too. Our waiter was so friendly and attentive.

Booked here for a friends Birthday for 8 people, Although the food tasted good (curries were relatively authentic and coconut rice was very good) and the price was good (about £20 a head) the management made us feel very unwelcome and the service was slow. The restaurant lacked ambiance and the manager had a go at me in front of the party and said that I owed him money (£2.50) because two of our party had to cancel last minute. We spent over £100 and the manager still treated us with distain, ignoring us when we tried to get his attention and serving other customers instead. There are so many other places where I can get good food and good service in Brixton that even though we did think the food was good we won't be going back there.

The staff at the restaurant were lovely and the food was excellent. I would definitely go again and have since recommended to friends.The only thing I'd suggest is playing some music as it felt a bit too quiet when we first arrived.

First visit, and it will not be the last. One of the best Thai meals I have had for a while, lovely flavours and well prepared. Very good service too.

We visited Baan Thai last week. The restaurant doesn't look much from the outside but the staff were very good - friendly and efficient - and the food was excellent. Really enjoyed it.
