Food and service was excellent. Sat on the upstairs patio with a beautiful view of the mountains. Recommend this restaurant highly.

Food and atmosphere were very good. Requested the server to allow extra time between courses, but main course came before we had completed appetizers. Timing was definitely off.

Perfect experience. Issac was incredibly accommodating and we could tell his goal was to make our experience memorable. Food was absolutely amazing. One of the best streaks I have ever had from NYC to Argentina. Don’t pass a chance to dine at this restaurant in a perfect setting.

The ahi tuna and cauliflower rice were delicious. Also the decor of the restaurant was visually appealing and very trendy, however the service and remaining dishes (crab, swordfish and scallops) were incredibly disappointing. The food was cold and most disappointingly the servers were snarky and dragged their feet to accommodate us as the winds picked up on the rooftop and we were no longer able to eat our food due to the vases and other condiments flying. Additionally, the party next to us were given blankets, as we shivered longing for our own that never arrived. Incredibly disappointing birthday dinner for what we expected to be a great restaurant.

We celebrated three birthdays (out of our group of four) here Saturday night. We could not have been happier with the food (amazing steak, salmon, drinks...), service, environment and our lovely greeting when we arrived at the front from a nice gentleman who we believe may have been the owner. We'll definitely be back and highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting PS.

We have missed chef Joanne Garcia-Colton's creativity since the unfortunate closure of dish Creative Cuisine, but when we learned that her sous chef Tony Knowles was the chef at Azucar, we had to check it out. Tony has reincarnated dish, and even improved upon it! We recognized many of the dishes and thoroughly enjoyed every one that we ordered. The flavors are intense, complex, and visually appealing. Our server Ezekiel ("EZ") was perfect and contributed so much to the enjoyment of dinner. The atmosphere is open and conducive to a great meal. Easily 10 out of 10!

First visit and Initially it was very relaxing with great atmosphere. We were disappointed not to be able to go to the roof area, but were told a Bachelorette party was up there. One by one, they filtered downstairs and the noise level got very loud. Food was good on my selections despite some serving issues. Service was okay. There were enough positives to go again and re experience old style Palm Springs with a twist

Been here before and loved it, so decided to take 2 friends for dinner. But, we had a horrible experience with the manager, who was insisting that the only tables for 4 people were outside, in 105 degrees, under misters, which are a nightmare when you've just gotten your hair blow dryed. Unfortunately, instead of being pleasant, he was dismissive and rude, telling us we should have asked for an indoor table when we booked. Don't know how to do that unless you already know they only have tables for 2 inside. On open tables website it clearly shows 4 tops indoors. He reluctantly rearranged a tiny table for 2 by adding 2 additional chairs. He refused to put 2 tables together, so we were very squished. The 4 of us live locally, have stayed at the property, and will not be going back.

I was really excited about coming here for one of our meals on a weekend birthday getaway with my boyfriend. We made a reservation for our first night in PS on a Thursday night. When we got there, the restaurant is tucked back through the reception area by the pool. Everything is beautifully decorated.

We got to the "entrance" of the Azucar and there is no dedicated hostess and you feel like you are in the way of food runners and you are trying to catch someones attention. We told the gentleman that we had a reservation and he said, "I think you are here" and pointed at a table. We sat down and looked over the menu. The bartender came over and said, "I guess I'm your server, what do you want to drink." My boyfriend and I both looked at each other astonished at the lack of customer experience so far. I had seen people rave about their happy hour, but didnt see it on the menu, so i asked if there was a seperate menu. The employee had to go ask someone else, came back, and told us that it was only available at the bar. This place is very small and the bar is about 5 feet from us on a very quiet night...so you're telling me if I'm sitting 5 feet to the left, my food and drinks are $4 cheaper each?!? And the bartender was our server anyways (facepalm). It was ludacris to me.

The saving grace for this review is that they did get one thing right...the food. It was delicious. Not sure if it is enough to make me want to come back next time I'm in PS, but if I do, I will be going in with no expectations.

A chic and fun bohemian tuck-away right downtown, food is delicious and the service friendly and attentive. Eat by the pool or in the Frida Kahlo inspired dining room & bar and cocktails on the rooftop terrace on the weekends!

Azúcar is a lovely oasis in Palm Springs. I love the food ... but it may be time for a little refresh of the menu. Some of the small plates might be re-portioned in smaller volume to be a n appetizer portion to a larger meal. The shaved Brussels sprouts comes to mind. It's tough to eat that entire small plate and then consume an entree. That aside, I love the ambiance, wine list and sensible food options.

Out of nowhere in the village of Palm Springs this place pops up one street off Palm Canyon Dr. towards the Mountains. Just 2 years ago this was a condemned property. Driving past I said, where did THIS place comes from. A U-Turn, a walk inside, I was there the next 2 nights for dinner. I'm a local, not a tourist, so
question will be, will I make them sick of me. And I haven't even experienced their upstairs weekend
Bar & View Deck overlooking ALL of the Village of Palm Springs and the San Jacinto Mountains mere blocks away. WINNER>

We wound up one less person so we sat at the bar! Eric, the bartender/ mixologist was so friendly and whipped up the tastiest drinks! The watermelon salad was divine, cauliflower risotto with pesto - out if this world and the juiciest sliders!
The gift shop is really cute, too!
The entire staff at La Sirena is just so friendly, we look forward to our return!

The food was good but 'meh' for the hype. The menu was uninspiring with items like hummus and pasta. Also, we were only able to get a 9:15pm reservation, however, when we got there it was practically empty. Since they closed at 10pm, the servers, bartender, kitchen, and hostess were basically cleaning up around us. They all gathered around the bar and we felt like we had to hurry our meal. I can’t think of anything more unwelcoming than having the restaurant staff hover over you while you’re trying to enjoy a meal. My biggest question is: If you close at 10pm on the dot, why would you have a 9:15pm reservation and expect people to eat in 45 minutes?
