Residing inside the historic Agassiz Mansion at Castle Hill Inn, Aurelia is the next evolution in Castle Hill’s culinary journey – one that has been lauded as one of the best dining experiences in New England. Nestled on forty magical acres, the property has been the backdrop of memorable occasions for more than a century.

The Forbes and Relais & Chateaux restaurant, known in its original incarnation as The Dining Room at Castle Hill, offers a six-course prix fixe menu with imaginative dishes utilizing the local bounty of produce, seafood, and artisanal producers.

Aurelia’s dining rooms overlook Narragansett Bay in all its raw beauty. As the bay’s seascape and surrounding landscape change subtly with the seasons, so does Aurelia’s menu, culminating in a truly memorable experience.

Our Tasting menu is $165 per person. We ask that you provide a credit card at the time of booking to secure a reservation. If you fail to cancel at least 48 hours in advance or fail to show reservation time, the credit card on file will be assessed a $50 per person cancelation fee.

    This was the most amazing birthday meal I have ever had. The service was top notch. The drinks were delicious. The wine pairing was so informative and perfectly chosen. Each course was a culinary delight. The only way to describe is it’s not just a perfectly coursed meal, it’s an experience and one that everyone should have. As a local Newporter I will recommend to everyone as the newly named restaurant lives up to the long standing traditions of Castle Hills reputation and should be enjoyed by all

    Dined on a Sunday night, off season... exceptional Service, veteran staff, beautiful Room, six course experience with several extra surprises, portions were not too large, smart... soft music, in quiet room, 2.5 hours of leisure with no rush... Perfect for a Special occasion... all the details... beautiful cutlery, glasses, lighting... we will be back.

    The six course tasting menu along with the wine pairing was amazing!!! Each course was paired with a wonderful wine which perfectly complimented the food. Our servers Lexi and Carl were extremely attentive and very knowledgeable about every course, including where the ingredients came from. We were able to view the sunset over the Narragansett Bay from our table. I would recommend this restaurant for a special occasion.

    Absolutely amazing experience- food was out standing- spectacular view of the sunset-extremely knowledgeable staff regarding every food item and wine selection- we did the 6 course experience and it was worth every penny! Highly recommend.
