Residing inside the historic Agassiz Mansion at Castle Hill Inn, Aurelia is the next evolution in Castle Hill’s culinary journey – one that has been lauded as one of the best dining experiences in New England. Nestled on forty magical acres, the property has been the backdrop of memorable occasions for more than a century.

The Forbes and Relais & Chateaux restaurant, known in its original incarnation as The Dining Room at Castle Hill, offers a six-course prix fixe menu with imaginative dishes utilizing the local bounty of produce, seafood, and artisanal producers.

Aurelia’s dining rooms overlook Narragansett Bay in all its raw beauty. As the bay’s seascape and surrounding landscape change subtly with the seasons, so does Aurelia’s menu, culminating in a truly memorable experience.

    Our chef's tasting menu is a 2.5-hour experience showcasing simple and elegant ingredient-driven food, classically derived yet infused with modern techniques and twists. Our Tasting menu is $165 per person. We ask that you provide a credit card at the time of booking to secure a reservation. If you fail to cancel at least 48 hours in advance or fail to show reservation time, the credit card on file will be assessed a $50 per person cancelation fee.

    Beautiful culinary experience! The tasting menu with 6 courses (and more with amuse bouche) was absolutely phenomenal. The quality of the ingredients, recipes choice and an amazing game of contrast and texture, bravo to the talented team of chefs. And a big thank you to the team! Gabriel, Harrison and Tom were so attentive to my needs. They were also very thorough with details and food origins. It was a pleasure celebrating my 25th birthday at Aurelia! I went to many Relais Château in France, and this one definitely did not disappoint! 10/10!!

    The dining experience for our anniversary at Aurelia was exceptional in every way! Each staff member made us feel warmly welcomed, especially Dario. He explained the tasting menu made excellent suggestions! We felt well treated from the beginning to the end of a delicious meal. As we were leaving we received a wonderful little goodie bag including our dessert well packaged for us to take home! We highly reccomend this beautiful place for a special event or anytime!

    We did the six course tasting menu, which turned into 10 courses with amuse bouche to start, a cheese course before dessert and an added dessert surprise. The food, Service and view was outstanding! The only thing missing was a pretty sunset, I guess we will have to go back for that!

    We visited Aurelia to celebrate our engagement, and it was an exquisite experience! The tasting menu with wine pairings presented us with perhaps the finest meal we have ever enjoyed, and I should add that despite a recent engagement we are both approaching 80. The service was impeccable, the staff very attentive, and the view was magnificent. We cannot recommend Aurelia too highly and look forward to future visits for special occasions!

    Excellent service - as usual. Food is always amazing - we especially liked the squab and foie gras, steak tartare appetizer, lobster, and wagyu beef. The scallop dish was a bit disappointing - it had little flavor and the raw texture was a bit odd. We look forward to trying the next menu, coming out soon. Castle Hill is always the perfect choice for a special occasion.
