ATTIMO MEANS “MOMENT” IN ITALIAN.
Jon and his wife, Megan, moved to Monforte d’Alba in Piedmont, Italy with their son in 2013, settling on the Ginestra hill and purchasing their own small Barolo vineyard. In Italy, Jon spent his days working and learning in the vineyards and wineries from producers whose families have been making wine in the region for generations. After returning to his native home of Denver, Jon wanted to bring a piece of Italy back with him to share with Colorado. So Attimo was born.
Attimo is about bringing the special moments of everyday Italian life to Denver. Authentic and approachable northern Italian wines and cuisine are the specialty, accompanied by warm and genuine hospitality.

We were celebrating a birthday and glad we were able to take a peek at the cellar. Our server was very nice but new and it was hard to understand him with his mask on as he discussed the wines. The chicken Parmesan was disappointing and not hot plus the appetizer we chose was not available. Would like to try again when we can get a more informative tasting and cellar tour.
this was a fabulous restaurant for date night! We enjoyed everything and can’t wait to go back
Great service with a cute and inviting atmosphere. Sat at the bar and the bartender was lovely and personable. Food was yummy. Definitely worth getting the gelato!
Very disappointed. We drove downtown and arrived at Attimo expecting to use our reservation and saw a sign there was an event that night and wine club members were not allowed to enter the restaurant. We should have been contact by Open Table or Attimo asking that we change our reservation.
We had high expectations for this novel concept. My wife and I each had a flight of wines. For each of us, we'd probably rate our wines as 50% good (not great) and 50% not so good. And the prices definitely were higher than we'd expect for average wine.
I made the reservation thinking that we'd have wine and dinner in an intimate setting. Instead, we found the space large, noisy, and uninviting. We ordered olives for an appetizer. They were good enough. Our server was friendly and seemed knowledgeable.
Rather than stay for dinner, we left and enjoyed a nice meal elsewhere.
We had done a wine tasting with Attimo and had a coupon for a glass of wine in the restaurant. We ate light dinner with the glass of wine but found the food pretty ordinary.
Great date night. Awesome food fantastic selection of wines. Service was outstanding.
We had a wonderful time thanks to our server and some really nice wines. Their best Barolo was over the top. We loved it and brought a bottle home. The food was okay, a very limited menu. We were stunned that they don’t have coffee. An espresso or cappuccino after dinner would have been nice.
After a mix up w my reservation, the staff was very accommodating and set a new table for us outside. Our waitress was very knowledgeable on the menu and was great. It was a nice touch that they offered and provided blankets while sitting outside.
My only complaint is the pasta was dry, the noodles sucked up the butter sauce and there were 3 or 4 mushrooms in the whole dish.
Service and ambiance were immediately welcoming, and continued to build on quality. Our server Amanda was both awesome! Fantastic wine quality and value. Food was quite good, especially the braised rib which was a special for the evening. Great date spot!
It was our first visit, and we had a great time. Dinner was delicious, and the wines were very good.
The only criticism I could offer is that the music seemed a bit loud. Overall, a really great experience. We’ll tell others, and come back ourselves some time soon!
The wine is amazing and the food is good too! Great date night spot
Really good service and explanation of wine
A great wine bar. Good atmosphere
LOVE everything about this place.
Most fantiastic wine selection and service--such a nice spot for dinner---went on a wed and it was just as busy as a weekend day. Try the Barbera, it is just magnificent ! The food selections are delicious too! --I cant wait to go back
Attimo is a wonderful little hidden gem. Food is incredible. It tastes like you are in Italy. The decor is almost as lovely as the wine. I highly recommend it.
Outstanding time, highly recommended! Had a 645pm reservation, but my plans changed and they rolled with it, no problem. Came with my wife and another couple, they're more wine knowledgeable than us, and they enjoyed their tastings. We all got various flights and the staff was friendly and patient in explaining their selection. Also had some nibbles, the nuts and chips, and it was all delicious and complemented the wine. This place is a great time.
Get the wine flights. Such a good deal for the amount of nice wines you get.
Staff was attentive and helpful. I had a great time.
We always enjoy Attimo. Amanda waited on us last night, giving us excellent service.
Wonderful service from the owner, John, and his awesome team! Best wine in the Denver area
Booked a reservation at Attimo to celebrate a new job. Upon our arrival, we were greeted promptly and pleasantly, then we were immediately taken to our table. As we scanned the menu, we were quickly given waters. The atmosphere was very pleasant and it was off to a great start. We then waited 10-15 minutes before our server arrived. She apologized for the delay, saying she didn’t see us. No problem; things happen. We placed our drink order, then waited another ~15 minutes. We emptied our waters during this time, and no one ever came back over. We continued waiting for a refill and/or our wine order. Neither came, and at this point, we’ve been here for ~30 min. In all fairness, they looked busy, but we did notice our server behind the bar on her phone. Everyone else seemed to have drinks, so I genuinely don’t know what the problem was. We finally decided it wasn’t worth waiting over 30 minutes for one drink order, so we told them we were leaving and walked out. I’m sure the wine is good, but I guess we’ll never know.
My girlfriends and I had such a fantastic time! Relaxing, friendly service from Becca, fabulous live music on the patio from Serena. The wine was delicious and the food amazing. Liking forward to going back again!
Absolutely perfect night, great service, great music, beautiful design inside
Attimo is one of our favorite places! The food and wine are truly delicious!
The food and wine were excellent. The service was awesome. They do a great job and are so friendly and helpful.
Lovely, large patio. The servers were knowledgeable, friendly and allowed our group to enjoy conversation. We will definitely be back.
This place is a treasure! We felt like we had been on a little getaway vacation. Rebecca took us on the tour, told us their story, and transported us to Italy for a few hours. She is so knowledgeable and engaging! The owner stopped by and visited with us and shared more about how they created the inviting and comfortable decor. The wines are excellent and their cocktails are delightful too. Taking our wine friends soon!
Server was super good and friendly.
The meatballs were a bit tough. First time I had them a few weeks ago they were fresh and delicious. Everything else is awesome.
Katie and staff are always amazing. Great food and fabulous wine.
Great place, good service, nice wine and yummy food.
Great fun, good and wine. Service was outstanding. They had a killer blues/jazz trio.
Wow was that food bad. You’re better off eating a microwaveable Stouffer’s lasagna than eating here. You’d think if they had three entrees they would be decent. Hard pass.
Attimo is a hidden gem. Excellent customer service, delicious food and spectacular wine, full of flavor. The restaurant has an enjoyable ambiance with both indoor and outside dining. Great for couples or groups. I can't wait to come back!
Hit up Attimo for a birthday celebration and the only regret I have is not having gone sooner! Great wines, delicious food (the fresh pasta is perfect!) and chill atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back!
Don’t expect a big menu, just authentic pasta and WINE! Food was decent, but not good enough to come back another time. Wine was good though.
A good dining experience....food, serviece and ambience....all very good.
Our server was a lovely young lady (name started with an S) and made us feel so welcomed! She ended her shift and turned us over to Beckham who was equally fabulous! The wines are wonderful, the cheese & salami plate was beautifully made, but the service puts this place over the top!
