Fantastic meal. Thank you Ash’kara for always delivering.
The food was out of this world. We had the hummus, pickled vegetables, Israeli salad with falafel and halumi cheese. We happily overate!
THE BEST hummus and pita I’ve ever had✨ Beautiful decor✨Loved the music they were playing✨Perfect for lunch, dinner, or drinks✨LOVE Ash’Kara❤️
We arrived at 5:30 for a 5:45 reservation. At 6:15 the waitress told us that we’d need to leave by 7:15 for their next reservation. We had 9 people and were planning on enjoying a long night. Worse yet, when we finally left at 7:30 there was no other reservation.
Bad israeli food for extortionate price. Truly a failed hipster rework.
Great staff, ambiance, and the food was delish. Excellent customer service! Hostess proactively notified us of patio conditions (we booked patio table for a day with high temp of 9 degrees) so we could assess whether to re-book for a different day or to book table inside. What a thoughtful thing to do!
Valentines day
The food was amazing and the service was even better! Was a great experience- can’t wait to get back there again!
Everything was wonderful, I'll be back for sure! Tables very spaced out too so felt safe dining during covid
Ash’Kara really needs to improve its wine list; there is almost nothing good to choose from.
True perfe
This was a very NOT relaxing dining experience! We felt very rushed because of their 90 minute time limit for guests. I understand that they are trying to maximize their revenue, but our waitress didn’t even ask if we wanted dessert or anything else, she just brought the bill when our 90 minutes was up. She was practically RUNNING from table to table. It felt very rushed throughout as she kept asking if we are ready to order when we only had a minute or two to look over the menu etc. etc. Overall, the food is good but the portions are quite small. And it is very very loud. And that was only at 25% capacity!
We had reservations for 5 p.m. and were told that we had to complete dinner within an hour and a half. An hour and a half was consumed waiting for our meal to be served. Though our waiter was personable, he spent a lot of time socializing with guests at other tables. While the concept is good, and the food is reasonably good, the very slow and poor service detracts from any positives. A 20% gratuity is automatically included in the bill, and there is space for leaving an additional "tip". Having waited tables while attending law school, I always leave a minimum gratuity of 20% because I think the wait staff deserves it for reasonable service. But I'd prefer that the discretion be left to me regarding how much to tip. Had the food fare and service been reasonable, I would have no problem with a 20% gratuity. But the service was so poor, I felt it unreasonable for the restaurant to presume that a 20% was reasonable. It wasn't. Though disappointing because we are always looking for new good places to dine, we won't be returning. We were told that management is considering opening two new restaurants. Good luck!!!!
Amazing, fresh, innovative, excellent customer service!
amazing food, amazing service. would come back here again and again
Great experience! Our second time here. Food is amazing and our server Karl was the absolute best. Will recommend to all of our friends and family.
The falafel was so good! Our service was excellent as well. Isaac was our server and he helped us pick some awesome choices. We will definitely be back and we’re telling our friends all about it.
Been going to Ash Kara since they opened. I love the food, atmosphere, people, and drinks.
The menu was unique and had all the staples at the same time...good wine and cocktail selection...the OF and Movia Cab were fantastic! Spare ribs only for a limited time...get down there!
Always love coming to visit. Food is always so fresh. Odd display of the salad. The waiter was great about describing the wine.
Everything we ate was fantastic. Started with the humus and wood fired pita and our main dishes were the Zatar chicken and 14 hour short rib. Flavors you dream about and the service was outstanding. Great job and we will be back!
Everything was great except we Had a reservation for 6pm. Showed up at 545pm. We were told that we had to be out by 7pm so felt a little rushed.
The restaurant became increasingly crowded as the night progressed, raising concern regarding "social distancing."
Everything is AMAZING. I can't wait to go back & try even more things on the menu!
another great night out at Ash'Kara so delicious. Food was terrific service was top notch
I love this place! It’s ALWAYS good and the service is great too. Highly recommend.
Went for a Saturday lunch on a friends reccomendation. I was pleasantly surprised by the quirky modern Moroccan decor and the simple, clean - Elegantly spiced food! They have things on the menu you cannot get anywhere else on Denver.
Great food, cocktails, and gf options! Can’t wait to go back
Delicious food, lighting, and beautifully decorated environment. Great for a date or a group of friends. The service was wonderful, very attentive.
everything perfect. the service, the dining area, the cocktails, the food. between the 5 of us, we were able to try most areas of the menu and found not a thing we did not like. of note, they even paid attention to the Open table note stating that this was a belated birthday celebration.
Delicious food, great atmosphere!
We had the hummus with mushroom addition, the short ribs and the fries and everything was amazing.
Their pita comes out piping hot, so good but be careful! The food and service overall were really good. I would put this place on par with Safta but better priced. In regards to COVID, they do have a patio with heaters and the tables are 6 feet apart but they have built up plexiglass walls likely to keep in the heat and while I am sure it is compliant with the COVID regulations I like to offer that information up as it is not entirely an open-air patio.
Fantastic and delicious! Definitely will go again.
Great food , service and co for table outside dining.
Food is so good and the heat lanterns kept us warm throughout dinner!
Great service and great food.
Amazing food, never disappoints!
Ambience was poor due to covid-19. Wine list limited, but good selections. Would have liked to see more lsraeli and Lebanese selections instead of italy.
My lamb was good, but the falafels were over fried and almost as hard as golf balls. Took them home and they were better warned after a night in the frig.
We love this restaurant. The food is amazing, great flavors and perfectly cooked. The lamb kofte, falafel and halloumi cheese salad are all standouts. They also have a great cocktail and wine list. Ash’Kara is one of the best Mediterranean/middle eastern restaurants in Denver and definitely worth several visits.
