Very creative courses to go with the selection of Chateau Palmer, Bordeaux
Went to lunch here with a client and our meals were first class; we both had seafood - fish and lobster. The business-person's special. Service was great, as usual and attentive. Even the owner stopped by to say hello. We were at the Chef's Table watching it all happen (a great perch).
Thanks Artisans for making our business lunch a success. This virus thing will pass; hang in there.

Friday night was Jazz night at Artisans. Along with the generally romantic setting and wonderful food it makes for a great date night. My wife had redfish that was spectacular and I had the cobia - a fish you don't find everywhere. It was seared crispy on the outside and moist on the inside with a fantastic mustard sauce. The house made desserts, full bar and excellent wine list completes the picture. Great place for a special occasion or date.
Great food (redfish and scallops) and attentive service. The seating for two near the front of the restaurant is not my favorite as its difficult to get in and out of the seating. This was made more difficult this night when they placed a couple in the next table despite the fact the restaurant was not crowded. Bottom line great restaurant.
Artisans continues to impress with their incredible cuisine, attention to detail, and expert service. We eat here often, and it always is a wonderful, pleasurable experience. I highly recommend this place for business lunches, as well as intimate dinners. Jack and his crew are worthy of the praise they have received. Bravo!
We love the menu! We shared a few appetizers and the seafood soup and everything was amazing. We are looking forward to returning soon!

Had wonderful food and wonderful service! Sea bass was great - lives up to the reviews. Our server even obliged our request to move from our table to two “kitchen viewing” seats for dessert. Would recommend!
Fantastic dinner. Escargot and pistachio crusted seabass are perfect. We ate at the kitchen bar that is very fun because we can see what we will have the next time. Highly recommend to all foodies. Our server, Marcos, was pleasant and very accommodating.

Best foie gras I have ever had in USA, same for scallops appetizer. Real French food, French portions, French bread. That is my restaurant in Houston.

Started off good. 12:30 reservations. Had the pre fixe Business Lunch. 1st course went fine. There was a large private party in front room. Seemed all servers were devoted to them . Main course came out lukewarm. Asked for salt/ pepper.....salt dish was empty. Our waiter went around entire restaurant looking for salt. We had also ordered a second glass of wine. No wine. No salt. Ate food that was well past warm. Finally got salt & wine after asking several staff. Large group was leaving & suddenly several staff were filling water glasses, etc. Birthday request on open table was fulfilled with candle & Happy BDay plate ( dessert was 3rd course ). Used to be first class. Too bad, no longer.
Another great meal at Artisans. Best fish entrees in town and lobster bisque is best I have ever had.
We’re looking for late seating on Saturday and we’re delighted by the availability the excellent attentive server and choice and quality of food. We spent wonderful night enjoyed the food presentation and ability of the chef to accommodate our requests. Will come back as often as it’s legally permitted.
This was our second visit, and we had another excellent meal. We chose to sit at the area where we could view the cooks working, and we both chose one of the chefs selection fixed price meals (my wife got the wine pairings to go with hers).
The food is amazing, and thoughtfully prepared. Everything's fresh, balanced, and the ingredients are all of high quality.
We especially enjoyed the foie gras and our respective entrees (lamb but the amuse bouche, seafood selections, and desserts were delicious as well. The pastry chefs obviously take pride in their craft, and it was fun watching them work from our seats.
The waitstaff is professional and well trained/prepared to explain the menu and give suggestions. Nothing is left to chance here.
I'll continue to recommend this restaurant and it will remain one of our top choices for special nights out.
Artisans felt like an overpriced tourist trap. We had the 6 course tasting menu. The food seemed to be bulk prepared and was about the quality I’d expect at a banquet type function. Nothing was bad but some items were cold and it was mediocre. The wine list was way overpriced - charging $65+ for what I know to be $10 a bottles of wine. We won’t be back.

We were at Artisans for Valentines. The food was amazing and the flavors complimented one another beautifully. The staff was attentive and helped us pair a delightful wine with our dinner.

We had a valentines day rez which meant prix fixe and all that goes with it. Overall, the service was ok, but the food was not really all that great. Fish was served warm vs hot and the prix fixe probably was not what we would have ordered. Not really a fan of French food so maybe not our best idea
Took my spouse to the Valentines dinner, which has a fixed seven course menu at a set price. The only choice was beef Wellington or sea bass for the entree so, between the two of us, we ordered both and shared. The entrees were both excellent. The foie gras appetizer course was memorable as it included a small amount of foie gras flavored ice cream; I generally don’t order foie gras as I have all too often been disappointed but this presentation was stellar. The rest of the courses were all highly enjoyable. The wine and cocktail list is ample but Artisans has a special on several different bottles so we elected for a bottle of sparkling rose. The wait staff was friendly and professional. If I were to have a complaint, it would be that there should have been about 4-5 minutes more between courses as a 7 course dinner should be leisurely presented and enjoyed over at least 2 hours.

Amazing French Cuisine. Don’t waste money at a steak house when you’ll get a better beef here for much less. Chef Jacques is the man!
We each had the Six course menu with wine pairings. The food was amazing and the wines really did a nice job of enhancing each course. Pricey but recommended for special occasions.

Love the environment, the service is good but nothing special. The snails were amazing, done in a unique way not in shells but in a dish with lots of yummy butter sauce to sop up. The veal chop was overcooked and tough. Good wine selection.
The restaurant was extremely dark. It was difficult to read the menu. When we arrived there was still a little daylight and we were sitting at the window. The outside light aided some to read the menu.
Once the food arrived the daylight was gone and despite the fact that the manager had brought three more votives, we were not able to see the food.
People at other tables were using the light on their phones to be able to read the menu.
This is unacceptable.

I like this place a lot. Quiet and comfortable. The food is a little pricey for me and I wasn't super impressed by it, but I'd go back for another try.
My first course was over cooked and dry, 2nd course was too salty. I quickly notified the chef and every dish afterwards was perfectly executed. Maybe they were training someone new? Artisans is consistently good and though there was a glitch tonight, they remedied it and we had a delicious meal. Bravo!
