Artisan Waterfront Restaurant & Tavern offers a unique and innovative dining experience with magnificent views of Lake Michigan. Our Great Lakes-inspired, New American cuisine has an emphasis on farm-fresh fare from local and regional farms, celebrating the theme of craftsmanship and sustainability.
With booking a table in Artisan please advise your table will be reserved for 2 hours starting at the time of your reservation.
PLEASE NOTE THAT OUTSIDE TABLES ARE RESERVED UPON REQUEST BUT CANNOT BE GUARANTEED.
If you have requested a table outdoors, please be advised that in the case of inclement weather, we will do our best to accommodate your party inside at the same reservation time, however we cannot guarantee a table inside at the same exact time and may need to adjust the reservation time accordingly.

Hosts were very sweet, although our reservation was called 30m late. After we were sat we weren’t helped for at least 15 m. When our food came it was cold, and definitely not worth the price. They forgot our utensils so we sat for another 10m without being able to eat the food. Also never brought our drink refills we paid for. Wanted to love it we just couldn’t:(

The portions are extremely small. Nice restaurant atmosphere in good service but don’t come hungry or you will be leaving very disappointed. Everybody I talk to that has eaten here stopped somewhere else on the way home. Most likely won’t be coming back.

We sat outside and had a beautiful view of the bay. Phenomenal food, great service. Don’t miss out on the mill milk buns.

What a beautiful place to dine overlooking the beautiful Traverse Bay. The food is amazing, service was excellent and ambience was very nice and very comfortable!!!

Artisan had a modern waterfront dining experience. Service was exceptional with great cocktails and a friendly atmosphere. We will definitely be back

The food never disappoints. Always something a little different but so worth giving it a try. It's not cheap but the food and atmosphere make it worthwhile

Ate outdoor under pergola, two couples celebrating anniversaries, service was great. Food excellant. Not disappointed after 5 meals here. Pricey.

Our individual server was fantastic. However we waited probably 35-40 min between the starter and the main entre. To be fair they comped our wine, but it just wasn't a great high end dining experience.
