Arnaud’s is a New Orleans classic. I’ve visited many times over the years and just love it! It’s a friendly and lively place filled with good vibes, great food, and great service. Get a French 75 and enjoy your meal!
The food was okay and everything else was fantastic! Beautiful ambiance and music and nice southern hospitality
Love the setting, the bar and the feel of the dinning room. Somewhat disappointed with the service and the quantity of food on the plate.
Wife and I were in NOLA for the Hamilton musical. We came to Arnauds afterwards and throughly enjoyed the dinner.
Best trout amandine she’s ever had!
Great service for our group of 10 friends! They were so patient and accommodating when I called to change my reservation. The food was delicious, as were the drinks. Not too expensive for the quality and ambiance of the restaurant.
Excellent food and service! Would go again if we were in NOLA longer
The food was phenomenal. Our waiter was great. Overall an amazing experience.
Always a great choice!
Can be very crowded but the noise level was decent enough to hold a conversation.
Salad excellent , the best. pompano overly spicey, not mentioned in menu. Sent back, prepared milder & better. Soufflé potatoes overrated. Arrived fairly warm, not crisp, & get cold quickly.
Arnauds was the highlight of our trip which included Commanders Palace. It was a perfect blend of French and New Orleans. The adjoining French 75 bar was enjoyable too.
Best trout meniure ever. Wonderful service. Would recommend to all
Arnaud’s was classic New Orleans cuisine. Elegant presentation and impeccable service. A must !
Arnaud's always exceeds expectations. Whether dining with a group, or just a couple, Arnaud's is one of my favorite spots for a fancy dinner in New Orleans. Wait staff was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in picking out an "out of my comfort zone" dinner, and the table-side bananas foster is a must-have.
Weak drinks, poor service and just ok food and way overpriced. Won’t be back.
This is a tough one to review. I’m happy we got the experience of eating at the famous Arnaud’s, but it will be our one and only time. The food is not memorable. The only thing that was good was the French 75 and the escargot. Don’t bother ordering the soufflé potatoes, they are boring double fried French fries- don’t fall for the description of their history. Everything ordered at our table of 4, was bland. Some jazz background music would have been nice in the main dining hall instead of nothing at all.
I would only recommend for drinks
service was fair, food was disappointing, not a good value for the money
Classic and lovely, with a wonderfully prepared menu and classic service. A place for special occasions but also everyday dining. Will repeat!
Amazing experience. Classic New Orleans. I have always loved this place and it doesn’t disappoint even after 20+ years. It is a mixture of locals and tourists.
Food was not what I expected. Fish was over coked. Very, very expensive.
Great food & wonderful service
Awful! We had an 8:00 reservation and the room was so loud we had to reach across the table to hear each other. Appetizer was fine but the filet mignon was rad when it should have been medium rare. The took the steak to cook it some more but by then all the juices had run out and I was left with s piece of dry meat. It was our first and will be last time there.
Arnaud's is and always has been New Orleans premier restaurant. It never disappoints. For dessert, try strawberries Arnaud; it tastes like Christmas in Spring.
The service and food were perfection. This was a most pleasurable dining experience.
Just an all around wonderful evening!
An excellent meal-all aspects.
The service was top notch, the food outstanding, the price very reasonable.

The food was amazing. Their steak is why I can never become a vegetarian.
We have had great service before but tonight was not a good experience. Our server never poured wine after she opened the bottle and poured the first glass. We had to get the attention of other servers to order more bread and drinks for the table. Our server was mostly MIA. Just a big disappointment.
Very nice restaurant with fun, old school ambiance. Excellent bananas foster!
Food was OK but not great. The service was excellent.
One of wait staff was very rude
When asked about an entree her answer was very brusque and not very
Great service; great food; a tradition the has continued over 35 years that I have coming to New Orleans and Arnaud’s.
We really enjoyed the food, the service and the ambiance.
A gracious setting with fabulous service. We were treated as special guests. The food was outstanding: we all had seafood from the traditional to the creative. And Bananas Foster is the entertainment as well as delicious dessert.
Everything about the experience was amazing. The people, the food and the service was amazing!
My husband and I went here for dinner during mardi gras trip. As expected, the ambience and service were superb. The food itself was amazing. We had oysters, alligator chicken, shrimp bisque, and other 2 main courses. They were all amazing as you would expect from a hi-end restaurant that has been open for a hundred year (since 1918). The price is on the pricey side but it’s an experience that you won’t regret.
During Mardi gras, at the bar, they have special called carnival colada, it was delicious. If you come during this crazy holiday, you should try it.
Spectacular place to get away from the craziness of Mardi Gras.
We were treated very badly by the staff. We are 3 young women and ordered drinks and gumbo and an appetizer. We don’t eat a lot in general and that was plenty of food. The waitstaff seemed very upset that we did not order more food. Restaurants with historical reputations should be wary of riding on that success. In a competitive culinary environment, service like this will begin to have a serious effect as people move to more interesting and welcoming dining experiences.
