My wife and son brought our son to the restaurant while he was on spring break to celebrate his 21st Birthday in January. Arnaud's has been a favorite of ours for years, since I learned that I have a mutual friend of the owner. We've been back just about every time we go to New Orleans.
On this occasion, we were seated under the alcove in the main dining area which due to the low ceiling was very loud and it was sometimes hard to hear the wait staff or even each other. Also, the soufflé potatoes were not available (which was understandable). When we ordered the other type of potato they were not delivered with our food and are not really of the high quality that I'd expect of the restaurant. I was surprised there wasn't some kind of mashed potato or other option, especially with the other kind of potato unavailable.
The potatoes were removed from our tab after we talked about them being late. We were just slightly disappointed, but the food was still great and we still love this great location.
This is the real deal. Great food, service and atmosphere.
Everything was excellent and it’s the best food I’ve ever had in New Orleans.
Banana foster was great. The filet mignon is the best ever. Very tender.
Wonderful food and service. Enjoyed hearing the history of the restaurant while we were there. Our filets were perfectly cooked and so tender. Will definitely be back!!
Really excited to try this right restaurant. The man that opened the wine poured for tasting and then sat the bottle on table without filling the other glasses or even the glass of the taster. I thought very rude.
Amazing authentic creole cuisine! Oysters, gumbo and banana foster were sooo good!
The Jazz by The Jay Walkers was amazing! The food is a great value for a jazz brunch in NOLA!!! This is a regular stop on our yearly trip!
Great food and service! Took my family there, and was glad they enjoyed one of the classic restaurants in New Orleans. Its a great place to eat!
Sunday brunch, jazz, very well prepared food, excellent service, helpful staff, great place to eat.
Great experience! Service was excellent and the food was well worth it! Would highly recommend for a special occasion or business meal when visiting New Orleans.
The wine and cocktails were great. Our multiple course dinner was delicious! Our servers were very attentive and friendly. We had a very enjoyable experience!!
Great meal. Best bananas foster!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WOW. Best service I have ever had. Everything was timed perfectly and our whole experience was above average. Great food and very intimate feeling though it is right in the middle of Bourbon st craziness.
Overall service was the best. Food was good but i was not impress with the oysters they re way better at Drago’s. But desert is worth all. Make a reservation go for desert.
Ive been Moro Arnaud’s many times over the years. I try and make an evening here when I’m in town for a meeting. The food, as always, is exquisite, combining local ingredients with French cooking. The wine list is encyclopedic; sadly, also about three times retail. There was a large convention in town this weekend, so perhaps this is why the wait staff seemed a bit disorganized and distracted. Otherwise, a lovely evening.
The food was fantastic and the service even better. Expensive but definitely worth it. The oysters, both raw and multiple varieties of cooked, were very tasty. Will go again next time I am in NOLA.
Great service and nice staff, but the Food was over cooked
Had a spectacular dinner at Arnoud’s with a very special friend. Perhaps the most romantic dinner I’ve ever had. This will be a memory that we will both cherish for years to come. Well done, very well done!
Arnaud’s was superior as usual but very crowded and the noise level was a 20 on
a scale of 1-10...10 being the worst
Servers very attentive, gave good recommendations and descriptions of menu choices. Food flavor and sophistication met my expectations and delighted me because of the mixed reviews I read on Open Table.
Very attentive service, delicious food. We had a nice table off to the side, but the dining room does get quite loud.
Great authentic NOLA classic with excellent service, great food and variety of fresh seafood options.
A great evening out- service was efficient and the food delicious!
When we booked our trip to New Orleans, Arnaud’s was the first place I made dinner reservations. I had gone once as a work outing on a business trip and thoroughly enjoyed it so I knew I wanted to go again. They were really accommodating considering I changed the reservation a few times. Our beverage waitress was wonderful, very attentive.
Arnaud’s was outstanding. Service was very courteous and attentive. Nice, quiet, elegant atmosphere. Food was outstanding. One of best in French Quarter.
Arnauds could use some gluten-free training. They still use wheat flour for everything even though many great chefs have moved to ingredients that produce equally excellent results without the gluten reaction. We love this restaurant, but it is often difficult to find a dish on the menu that does not have wheat flour.
The Jazz Brunch atmosphere, service, and entertainment was superb
The service and food was excellent. A super experience.
Though not the best of the old Creole NOLA restaurants, the food was good and the service was attentive. Check out the French 75 Bar prior to dining...
Good was sub par
Arnaud's has now become my favorite restaurant. The food was fabulous. The best trout amandine, ever! And my dessert, the Toffee Bomb was to die for!!
The food was great, very rich and creamy. Obviously very french and refined.
This was a great visit to Arnaud’s. The food is wonderful New Orleans cuisine. The service is of the highest caliber. This visit, one of the servers escorted us to their little museum. We have been traveling to New Orleans once a year for many years. This is always one of our dinner stops. We have pre-dinner drinks at their French 75 bar, then the wonderful dinner.
Very traditional, rather noisy. Good food. Truthfully, we preferred the Bistro nextdoors that has a very similar menu, most of the same dishes. AND a Jazz Band.
We went for the Jazz brunch. It was delightful. The food was good, the musicians were personable and the atmosphere was upbeat and fun. It is definitely a splurge....but memorable! Don’t miss the museum upstairs.
Wonderful service, wonderful food and fabulous ambience.
We had a lovely anniversary.
Very nice restaurant with great food in a great town for food (New Orleans).
Wonderful food and extremely attentive wait staff. Would highly recommend.
Excellent service, and maybe we are spoiled having eaten in some really great restaurants, but the food was nothing special.
