    Quail - ordinary, salad good, asparagus good Duck - tough as no one trimmed off the sinew so I had to trim it myself after I realized the problem, sauce was good, asparagus was sour tasting, not fresh tasting. Bread okay.L’escargot was pretty nicely done and presented. No one checked with us after it was served….Mille feuille was small and just average. Would not return. Disappointing for the price.

    Wonderful ambiance, not to mention the fabulous drinks ( French 75) and food. Topped off with Cafe Brulot. Stuck with their famous dishes that never fail to be delicious!

    Excellent service. We had crab cakes best ever and wonderful filet. We were impressed with the bananas foster presentation and the taste. Great job. Hope to visit again soon!

    Pretty mixed. Really want to like this place. Our main server was amazing but others were blatantly rude (used our water to serve another table then put it back on our table). Some dishes were amazing but the fish entre came out early and was dry like it left over for someone else. Too bad. Seems like a potentially great place.

    We selected Arnaud's because it looked like the kind of elegance that New Orleans would have experienced 'back in the day' and we were not disappointed. The decor and appointment of the main dining room offered restrained elegance and the attentive staff ensured that we were well taken care of. What was especially impressive was how all of the floor staff worked together in a choreography of helping each other effortlessly while attending to their own duties. Jeff and Doug were very helpful in explaining dishes and offering suggestions and the lovely Leigh answered all of our questions, even about the paintings on the wall. The food was served without delay and was very tasty: my husband had the special and cleaned his plate and I could barely finish my crab cakes, they were so rich and plentiful. I can see why the reviews for Arnaud's were so positive and we add ours to the list.

    My mom and I wholeheartedly enjoyed our experience (our head server was super personable, had a unique friendly style, and, even told us he read my story about who the reservation was for and that we wanted the Cafe Brulot), food (my mom had the Duck and Brabant Potatoes and I had the Pompano Duarte and Asparagus Hollandaise) and drinks French 75's and, of, course, the Cafe Brulot)! After dinner, I walked upstairs and enjoyed a lovely presentation about the Mardi Gras Museum, highly recommend, and, it wouldn't have been as special without the presentation (I tried to remember the young girl's name, but, alas have failed - she did a fantastic job and had such a warm, energetic and bubbly personality)! I hope to dine here again any time I visit New Orleans!

    The dining room is cramped and the food feels like it's riding on the name and history. There are dozens of other creole spots in New Orleans that are serving better food. Arnauds tastes like banquet catering to be frank, and the spice profile on the food was bland. Once was certainly enough.

    My expectations were very high. The food was not worth the price. We had two fish plates and one steak with three sides. The steak was very good but everything else was not. I was so disappointed that I decided to forgo dessert and go somewhere else. The food, lighting, and seating arrangement all made for a very underwhelming experience. I give it three stars for the service. If not for that, I’d give it two.

    Very noisy and we were unable to have a conversation My fish meuriere was overdone and the sauce was too salty and it didn’t seem to be a compatible sauce for fish more like for a meat dish The server was too dramatic Overall we didn’t enjoy the expensive experience

    We loved Arnaud’s! We had reservations at 8 but they were able to seat us almost immediately when we got there 45 minutes early. The service was outstanding and the food was divine! Get the bananas foster!

    Our dining experience at Arnaud’s was outstanding. The wait staff was engaging and our food was delicious. The overall experience was one of my favorite so far in the Big Easy! Highlights were the escargot, seafood gumbo and a flaming chicory coffee & liquor show at the end of the night. We will return.

    Came to New Orleans for a work convention and had dinner with my customer. We agreed it was the best food we had ever eaten and superb service! Everyone was so friendly, would definitely recommend and will come back if I’m in the area.

    A famous eatery on Bourbon Street but our least favorite of the three nights we dined in New Orleans. The main dining room was overly bright and very loud. One waiter across the room sounded like a carnival barker describing the menu for his table. Our food was OK but not great. Overall our experience was 3* and I am being generous.

    Shrimp Arnaud , so so, mushroom starter very good, entrees good, though one went back it wasn’t warm, sides so so, desserts good. Service, 2 of 3 servers good, overall slow. Ambiance of dining room very nice.

    Our dinner at Arnaud's was memorable. The service was superb, the food was expertly prepared and served, the wine list was impressive, every aspect of the meal was très bien! We never experienced a better dinner in Paris or Rome - we will be back!

    Good service and food. Some tables/chairs placed too close together. Staff kept bumping into our party while trying to serve an adjacent table. Noise level was close to intolerable. While restaurant desires gentlemen to wear jackets many were very "casually" dressed - some "too casual" in my opinion.

    Had a great time ! The highlight of our experience was the service. We really enjoyed our experience with Travis, what an entertaining and authentic character ! The band was also top-notch, we only wish we could have heard more of them as our reservation coincided with the end of brunch service and the music ended earlier than we’d expected.

    Can't say enough good about Arnaud's. This was 2nd time and both experiences were terrific. Escargots: delicious. Filet: Cut it with my butter knife. Shrimp bisque: wanted to lick the bowl. Husband had duck & he said it was outstanding.

    The room was over crowed - the noise was deafening! The food was mediocre. The sauces were pasty. The waiter was nice but .... We have always enjoyed Arnaud's in the past, but it will be a long time before we go again, I am sorry to say. A grand dame very much on the skids.

    I so badly wanted this to be a wonderful experience, but it was just okay. This is New Orleans… where food is on a higher level, and going to a venerated place like Arnauds should be an extraordinary experience. It was an okay experience… nothing more. Nothing we ate was memorable. We had turtle soup, shrimp Arnaud, crab cakes, crispy fish meunière, wine. All were pretty good, but not memorable. So sad.
