Food was good, and service was prompt. Definitely had better New Orleans faire for less money and a warmer atmosphere.
Food and Service were both excellent. The server gave specific recommendations which were right on target
Outstanding service, appetizers, entrees and dessert. We will return frequently.
Great New Orleans experience! Food was outstanding and service was impeccable.
Superb. One of the best in the country.
Fabulous dinner at one of New Orleans legendary restaurants.
Get the French 75, you won’t regret it ! I had the steak with mushroom sauce and crab claws for an appetizer. Had the creamer spinach and the potato’s .
As always, a perfect dining experience. We don’t enjoy noisy restaurants and it is loud but I keep our earplugs in my purse and we did need them.
Outstanding Experience!! We will be back soon. Staff food amazing
Wonderful as usual. Been going to Arnaud's for 55 years. One of my favorite places. I really enjoy the professional service and setting. It still reminds me of the good old days. The Oysters Bienville is still the best. Too bad we were too full to enjoy the Bananas Foster for dessert.
Had a wonderful dinner. The waitstaff was wonderful and the food was fantastic.
Best meal of our trip the staff on top of your needs the food was hot delicious and just enough our waiter gave us a tour and learned so much
Staff was great at making our celebration an event
Superb! I went for jazz brunch and the food was amazing, of course. I had the 4 course prix fixe: shrimp rémoulade, a great salad, eggs Sardou, and the egg custard. It was a great deal at about $35. The food was the best part! The service was good, and friendly, but perhaps not as attentive as it could be. I waited a very long time for the waiter to come initially. The main complaint I have is the whole reason I went there: the jazz. I was hoping for traditional Dixieland jazz. Instead it was jazz covers of popular songs like “New York, New York” and Billy Joel’s “Just The Way you Are.” Really disappointing. They did play “When The Saints Go Marching In” finally, at the end. There were only 3 musicians. Also, it was really hard to hear the music. The sound didn’t travel well at all. I was told the band would play right by my table and they never did. I assumed they would play at every table. I guess they only played at tables celebrating birthdays or anniversaries, which were marked by a balloon. So my expectations for the jazz portion of the brunch were not met. At all. Lastly, I’d like to make a commendation for Cody, the hostess. She was particularly helpful and friendly! She took me for a tour of the building, and also told me about the little Mardi Gras museum they have. It was small but very cool. There were costumes dating back to 1939! Definitely worth a visit. Cody made my visit memorable.
We enjoyed a wonderful Sunday brunch of entrees Oysters en Brochette and Shrimp Florentine. The Shrimp Arnaud appetizer cannot be missed. It is too delicious, but not too spicy, to miss or share! We did share the Bananas Fosters served at our table. It is quite the show. Our waiters were attentive and the music trio played our favorite, "You Are My Sunshine." Great ambience! Lovely birthday luncheon! You really won't miss the mark by choosing Arnaud's.
After working as a hostess at Arnaud's and then moving away from NOLA almost 28 years ago, it was lovely to finally come home to have a great jazz brunch. The food was superb and the dining room and atmosphere was exactly the way I remember it. My husband thoroughly enjoyed a bit of old New Orleans hospitality. I have always recommended Arnaud's to anyone traveling to New Orleans, and after this trip, will continue to do so.
We were really looking forward to the Jazz Brunch, and while it was nice, we were a bit let down. The food was good (not great) as was the service, but for $150 per couple, it wasn't all that. The courses felt rushed, and the bill was set down (with no one asking if we needed anything else) exactly 1.5 hours in, like they needed the table for the next reservation. On the plus side, the restaurant is beautiful, and the jazz trio was spectacular, even finding an impromptu substitution for the birthday girl who didn't want us to sing happy birthday. And the cocktails were delicious!!! I would have had another if they'd asked....
Outstanding food and service as only New Orleans can provide
This website is extremely irritating. May I leave now?
Great experience, delicious food.
Meat dish was way too tuf
Food was delicious and the three members of the waitstaff who took care of us were awesome
Food and service very good but it took an unacceptably long time for entrees to come out
Atmosphere was really loud for a fine dining experience.
Overall excellent but the length of the dinner was 2 1/2 hours and it was difficult to talk with customer due to the noise
My first visit to Arnaud's was wonderful. Excellent coctail, French 75. The Dorado David was simple yet amazing in terms of freshness and flavor. Chocolate toffee mousse rich and delicious. Best of all, prompt service with a smile. I was traveling on business and eating along. Everyone was so welcoming and attentive which truly made the dining experience most enjoyable.
Magnifico y tradicional
Mary was terrific. And Micah took good care of us, too. Truly, Mary made our meal one of the best we had this week. We are regular visitors and had not been to the restaurant in a while. Turtle soup was hot and hearty. Cannot go there without getting the soufflé potatoes! Yummy! We would not have the Crabmeat Prentiss again; we were expecting more of a gratin dish and it’s more like a dip. Their house salad is very refreshing and enough to share or for a light entrée. We will be back!
Going to Arnaud's was an experience I was waiting for and anticipated for many years. The Sunday Jazz Brunch was unforgettable. Everything was just a I imagined except for my wife finding a hair in her salad. We brought that to the attention of the staff and they we apologetic and attentive. When the main course arrived there was a piece of paper in her meal. Looked like a piece of a sugar wrapper. Disappointed to say the least.
Took the family, including my 4 and 1 year old daughters for the Jazz Brunch. What an absolutely wonderful experience. The service is extremely professional, the food was fantastic, and the music was fun. Special shout out to the entire wait staff. They took care of my girls which makes dining for parents so much better
Excellent food and attentive service. It was a very nice evening. Looking forward to the next visit!
Always delightful. A New Orleans landmark.
Very nice restaurant. Service was delightful. But this type of food does seem over priced, but if you're going for the experience, the restaurant is quite nice.
Food was very good but it was noisy in the dining room
Lovely food and service! Enjoyed our evening with friends.
Our reservation was at 7:30 but we arrived at 6:30 and they were able to accommodate us. The ambiance was very nice and the food was good. Nice place to go for a romantic dinner, though there were families there as well. For 1 appetizer, 1 bottle of wine and 2 dinners we paid with 20% tip $200. On a scale from one to ten, I would give it a 7.
Fantastic place, classic new Orleans cuisine for fine dining.
Had the best Brunch at Arnaud's celebrating my dad's birthday! Great food.. Great service !
I was last at Arnaud's as a young man of around 28. Several decades later, I remain impressed. Our party of four was taken great care of as we enjoyed the Sunday Brunch prix fixe menu. One of our party is a real food snob (in a good way), and she loved every choice, as did the rest of us. Highly recommend this almost 101-year old gem in the French Quarter. The Jazz Brunch will make you smile!
Brunch on Sunday was the perfect end to a great weekend to NOLA! Driving to the airport, our incredible meal and impeccable service was all we talked about. Everyone of us will be returning.
