   Hard surfaces everywhere amplify sound with boisterous customers the noise level in intolerable. Food is ok not great. If I pay that much for a meal I expect to be wowed and I was not. Service was great.

   This was a great experience! The venue, service, drinks, food and soft jazz were on point! The staff were awesome! Very attentive! Our group sampled the duck, fresh catch and chicken…all were excellent! I’d go back in a second! Our friends enjoyed it more than the French Laundry in Napa. Book a table, you won’t regret it!

   The restaurant was itself way too noisy. In addition, they sat everyone on the side of the dining hall by the window even there were a lot of open tables at the center. The lady next to our table was talking very loudly. I can also hear the street performer’s bucket/drum performance as we were sat by the window. The live music was underwhelming. They charged $6.00 per person for music, the pictures on their website showed the musicians will come by your table, but when we were there, they stayed at the corner of the restaurant the whole time, and the songs they played were underwhelming. I was expected a little more fun jazz music dining experience like the pictures they showed on the website. Instead, there was no energy in the dining room. Servers were not very friendly, not a lot of smiles. They served our main dish while we are still we finishing our salad. We felt rushed! The table was very small, they bring everything out too fast but they do not come by fast enough to take out the used plates. I would not recommend this place to my friends who will be visiting NOLA if they are looking for a live jazz dining experience.

   We were very excited to have found a reservation for the jazz brunch on Easter Sunday. The music, service, and ambience were great (as expected). I can recommend the overall experience but was severely disappointed with the food. For some reason they didn’t offer their normal jazz brunch menu. For some reason, they went with a “special” menu that was very limited and not very good. Alternatively, you could order off their dinner menu (which I really didn’t want at 10:00am). They have so many good things on their normal brunch menu; not sure why they changed for Easter, but definitely a disappointment.

   Been dining here for years, and IMHO, is consistently the best restaurant in the French Quarter.

   Originally seated my husband and I behind a wal . It was really odd although we were dressed up and a smart business couple. It was soon rectified once we mentioned it was odd. Jazz band does individual requests at your table. No tipping but $18 added to your bill for band. Food was great and not rushed. Was a great evening just sit in main dining area to truly enjoy the band.

    Wonderful restaurant and incredible service. The music was superb. Recommend to anyone heading to New Orleans for a memorable experience
