food was great.. really really amazing.. but service is really just sub par.. trying not to think that it's racial related.. that's all
but yes. food was great.. chef is very talented
Great vibes great food great time
By far the. best experience. We appreciated the vaccination only. entrance. Which should make guests feel more comfortable. We enjoyed our overall experience from the valet, hostess, waiter, and servers. We thank you for allowing us to be a guest at ARDOR.
We will return!
I hope all restaurants would incorporate the new mandate like Ardor.
The food was incredible and ambience was great. Awesome outdoor seating. There was a guy named Justin who wasn’t even our waiter but was very helpful in letting us know what to order (and what to do out in WeHo after). The only bummer was that our actual waiter (not Justin) wasn’t very attentive and it took a very long time for him to get our order / bring our check etc. That said, foot was amazing and Justin was 10/10
Daughter was locked in restroom stall and service was terrible.
Ardor is -without question- my new favorite restaurant in Los Angeles. The food, service and ambience were all second to none and made for a truly unforgettable evening and dining experience. Each seemingly familiar dish was elevated with a unique flair, the cocktails (especially the “Green” and the “Melon”) were hands down the best I’ve had all year, and the deserts were such works of art that I felt terrible even eating them (though they were delicious once I did!).
Recommendations: the Milk Bread (a must have!), the Green cocktail, the Alaskan King Crab tagliatelle, and the Terrarium for dessert.
Overall it’s a nice place with a great bar selection and good food. The skirt streak, filet, and risotto were excellent. The signature milk bread was not bad but not a must have. The biggest bummer is the ridiculous parking fee, $24 for us. It’s based on time as opposed to a flat reasonable rate for diners. Uber if you go.
The restaurant is absolutely beautiful and the Covid precautions were greatly appreciated- our server(Evan) was fun and had very good menu suggestions- the food was excellently prepared and the dessert was delicious. I would definitely recommend the restaurant for a fun, delicious meal ( cocktails were fantastic too!)
The food was lacking the flavors we were craving. We came to this place looking for a delicious vegetable focused meal, but instead got overly salted meats, way too lot of music, and over priced plates with no ingredients to justify the cost.
An elegant, Zen like dining experience. The color palette, interiors and waitstaff attire were all consistent and pleasing. Ador has a limited menu, your wine list is exceedingly overpriced, especially by the glass. ( your bread and butter is sales of alcohol) it was the incentive to not order more then one glass( a shame for women drinking 2-3 glasses or buying 1-2 bottles) Your food and beverage is clearly quality.
Question is, would I come back? Was it worth feeling I over paid for the experience.
The food was delicious! Th service was great! The hotel was modern and beautiful! Great experience!
I loved the simple menu, and quality food and service. I would highly recommend Ardor for special occasions.
Just WOW on every level!
Everything was delicious, ambiance was amazing. The dark horse of the night though were the onion rings; a must get.
The setting is outstanding but the food was horrible; bad, uninterested service, no explanation of food, listless and distant waitress. The Hostess' were forced to wear what amounts to bad bride's maid dresses. The food delivered was grossly over-salted on everything; tomatoes were fall apart paper thin and sloppy to eat; the milk bread was too salty and disgusting to the palette; the shrimp entree was terrible - you get better shrimp at Red Lobster. It took forever to get drinks served and it was not busy. The Valet wait takes forever and they are as unfriendly as we've ever seen. I would recommend people stay far away from this pedestrian restaurant.
Main entrees were not great- sea bass was super fishy and the tomato accompaniment was over salted. The filet was good but at over $50, it was tiny and left you hungry. The umami onion rings were plain weird- kinda had a weird middle eastern flavor that did not go well with the greasiness of the fried onions. The only good thing was the great service and delicious milk bread which was divine!
We had a great quite and delicious dinner. The bread is a must
I was there with my wife for our anniversary and I accidentally booked the following night. I explained the situation to Naomi. We were seeing a show and didn't have time to find another restaurant. She didn't miss a beat, she had us seated at the bar and within 10 minutes found us a beautiful booth. The wait staff were wonderful and the food was amazing. I highly recommend the restaurant and we will definitely be back.
Inconsistent service and food. I had the chicken dish and it was thoroughly undercooked. No apologies from the chef. Had the shrimp and polenta dish and it was great. Service was slow because they were grossly understaffed.
Servers are extremely attentive and kind, the atmosphere is very lively and beautiful. The food is unique and tasty - the milk bread was delicious.
The food was exquisite ! Best octopus I've ever had. What a beautiful place as well.
We went for dinner and celebrated life in this beautiful restaurant, the atmosphere and service were awesome, I had the octopus and we tried the tandoor carrots, we also had the lamb and the Greek fish, all of the food was amazing!, fresh and very well cooked! We will definitely go back!
Great food. Excellent, friendly and knowledgeable service. Lovely room. I would definitely recommend it.
25th wedding anniversary
Our server Lyle was amazing! He gave us such an unforgettable experience and the food was absolutely amazing. This restaurant is by far one of my favorite spots in LA!
Elegant, plant-filled setting that made us visibly relax. Very enjoyable and calm space and very good food.
Thank you, Naomi!
Amazing ambiance, cocktails were delicious. Great service!
Lush oasis with lively, chill vibe. Milk bread was delish. 10/10
Everything but parking was great. $40/car is nuts. Even for the Strip.
Every dish that came out impressed the entire table!
We tried out Ardor for the first time to celebrate our anniversary. All of the staff were very friendly, attentive, and committed to ensuring our special occasion was memorable for all the right reasons.
First we must start with the service. Front door was great. The server Lyle is a gem. Ask for his section. The staff greets you as you are arriving. Very kind with meaningful conversation. After sitting I recommend choosing the outside. It is spectacular. I truly appreciate the establishment also following guidelines during this pandemic and making customers feel safe.
I want to say a big thanks to Lyle. He is a fabulous server. I will come again an ask for him. He walked the table through the menu and guided us on our selections. He made sure the celebration was perfect. The food was simply amazing. Cooked all too perfection.
The food, drink and service were all top-notch. The decor is nothing groundbreaking, but certainly tasteful. It's on Sunset, so the outside noise of d-bags revving their engines is an unfortunate byproduct of such a prime location.
We came for a friends birthday dinner party of 4 and the service was outstanding! Very nice and friendly staff, making sure we were always taken care of. Food was delicious and so were the drinks and dessert! Definitely try their king crab pasta so delicious.
The space is absolutely stunning and wonderfully lush with plants abound. The service was equally as great.
Unfortunately, several misses with the food.
Raw cauliflower cacio e pepe: zero similarities to the namesake dish. It was decent enough, but ate like a vegan farro bowl. Sorely misrepresented by its title.
Cleaver octopus: I’ve had much better octopus everywhere else. I felt it was too peppery (not spicy) which overpowered the dish.
Milk bread: The best dish by far. Freshly baked, fluffy, and the heirlooms added an umami element.
Sea bass: Skin was slimy, cut of fish was too fatty. Entire dish was way over salted with no other flavors present. Probably the most disappointing of the evening.
Purple haze dessert: An interesting take on a dessert; it was mostly savory. Ate like a deconstructed cheese board. Wouldn’t order again.
Overall, I would visit again for the ambiance and a cocktail or two. Might give dinner another shot and order a completely different set of dishes.
