Apothecary is a Tokyo inspired tavern with Shoreditch energy, serving handcrafted cocktails, rare spirits, beers, wine and Japanese style small plates and bar snacks.

Open for drinks and nibbles as well as lunch, light bites or dinner, we take reservations for parties of all sizes. Walk-ins are welcome throughout the day.

Our playlist has been created by our friends at music experts, Spiritland, who will also be curating live DJ sessions on Friday and Saturday evenings.

Fusion Japanese dishes tasted deliciously in particular the grilled cauliflowers, wagyu beef and truffled short ribs. The ambience of this restaurant is comfortable and spacious, not traditional Japanese style which you can’t tell it serves Japanese food. We chose this place for birthday celebration, food tasted wonderful with gorgeous platings, cheesecake dessert was a perfect ending.

Had an amazing meal here, loved the pork belly and salmon den miso dishes the most. Very trendy decor and vibes. Great for a date night

Nothing to moan about. Every single dish surpassed my expectations. Kind staff who accommodated my requests and a lovely vibe in the restaurant. I’ll be back - with more friends !

The sushi was decent but very average but shoreditch is lacking a high quality sushi place. Same with the cocktails. I had the margarita and it tasted like it came from a premade mix diluted with sprite - not right for that price point. But the ambience was good.

Excellent restaurant. Great menu, the food was well prepared. We were lucky that there was no pressure to rush the sitting. So we stayed for 4 hours. The service was very attentive. All guests were exceptionally happy and we will attend again.

I was little disappointed because it was my Birthday and I didn’t received nothing special. Even my husband said later to me that he mentioned to the waiter that it was my birthday but still nothing and we received plain dessert plate. I mentioned this on Instagram account where somebody texted me and said that somebody will come back to me but never did.
