Amazing food and service !
I made last minute reservations and we landed a beautiful table at the window so we were able to enjoy the Mardi gras Parade passing by on Magazine. I am also vegan and the chef created a lovely dish for me off the cuff. Our waiter was very attentive and made excellent suggestions! I have eaten at Appoline many times and have never been disappointed!
We got there in time for our reservation but were asked to wait for a few minutes, which is understandable. We waited at the bar, I asked for drink menus only to have a very aggravated bartender who grudgingly gave me the menu and said, “you’re not going to get your food or drinks anytime soon, just so you know”!!! She was then arguing with another waiter and complaining to other customers about how overworked she was.
Fortunately, our table was ready right away and we were able to enjoy the rest of our evening without having to deal with totally unprovoked and inappropriate behavior.
Made a reservation for Valentine’s Day along the parade route. The meal was fantastic and was able to see floats passing out the window and then walk right out after dinner and see the parade. Made for a really great evening and would love to go back. I had the off the menu special and it was delicious. And the mixed drinks were also great.
My friends and I ALWAYS have a FABULOUS time at Apolline brunch!! Food is solid, servers are always friendly and you can’t beat the bottomless mimosas😉
Precious little neighborhood restaurant!
We loved everything!
Great food friendly staff. I’ve tea ran dry otherwise five stars all around. Great bread pudding.
Food was excellent as always. One of my favorite places to visit when I’m in New Orleans.
The food is fantastic and so is the service. We have been several times, and it never disappoints. Highly recommend!
One of our favorite restaurants! Always consistently delicious and wonderful service.
We celebrated my daughter’s Confirmation at Apolline. Absolutely fantastic appetizers and meal and wonderful service! The French 75 was well made using a locally made gin. The desserts were a perfect end to this family dinner/celebration. Always a pleasure dining at Apolline
A wonderful restaurant!
Thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Setting was great, the service excellent and the food was superb
Excellent food and service. Alcoholic drinks were very very good. Our waiter, Ned, took care of everything extremely well and very quickly. Will go back many times.
Service was good. The kitchen was very slow and it wasn’t crowded. Rice was under cooked. Very few gluten free items.
Apolline is our favorite place to eat in the city! The perfect combination of atmosphere and food— the service is always top of the line as well. Their focus on high quality food and customer service is so evident!!
Food was fantastic, service was attentive yet not intrusive, and the atmosphere was perfect. Not a large space, but did not get too loud when full. The shrimp and grits were amazing.
Quaint restaurant on one of my favorite streets in New Orleans. The wait staff, friendly, professional and the food was wonderful. I can't wait to go back and share my experience with friends and family.
Apolline is always delicious! I got the pork enchiladas at brunch and they were so good! Thank you!
This was my second time to visit Apolline. I was sad to hear they had taken two things I had last time off the menu. No worries, they replaced them with something even better! Everything was delicious and service was fantastic!!
Staff and food was amazing. Highly recommend. My friends and I went for brunch as it’s one of the only places we found that served brunch on a Friday and it did not disappoint.
The menu was limited to me this visit since I don’t eat meat. I ended up with a salad and cheese plate as I was warned everything was too salty for my taste/-the server informed me that other people had complained about the high sodium content.
This baffles me! WHY oversalt?? I can always add salt but cannot take it it out of food.
This would be one of my favorite restaurants if not for the salt.
Great NYE spot. Wonderful attention to details on setting, service, and food!
Always good. Great drinks, great waiter!
Celebrated birthday of friend 12/30/2019. Drinks, service and ambiance were great! Food and value were also very good.
Nice double date spot, great ambiance, good food a bit pricey
Upon arrival no one was at the front. I had to wait for someone to realize I was there. I was seated and served promptly. The menu had a many different pallet options. We stared off with the chargrilled oysters. They were not your typical chargrilled oysters. They were sweet and I don’t recommend them if you like hot sizzling chargrilled oysters. I had the scallops, they were huge and seared to perfection. Great taste! I would recommend that dish. Overall we enjoyed the food and service.
Great authentic, Nola food away from Bourbon. Great place for brunch and fair price on bottom less Bloody Mary and Mimosa.
Went there for Christmas Eve. One of the few places for the holidays that has their regular menu and a holiday menu. Everything was fantastic. One of my favorite restaurants in the city. Cozy, excellent craft cocktails, superior service and an excellent, versatile menu.
Outstanding experience; Ned our waiter made it even better.
Delicious and reasonable Revillon menu. Best service by Ned.
Not a bad dinning experience but nothing special either. Too many better restaurants in New Orleans.
Apolline was a great place for a lunch meeting with my colleagues. We celebrated the end of 2019. The service was good; the food was very tasty; and the setting was really nice.
Blaine was exceptional and extremely attentive. Love the weekday brunch option and inordinate setting. All the food was outstanding and the Deluxe Bloody Mary “appetizer” was a real hit.
I have been here a few times and really liked it. It seems the restaurant was having an off night for some reason.
The whole experience was enjoyable...food, service and ambience. Large table of 12 - 15 people celebrating near us was somewhat noisy, but it was festive. Would recommend and return. Ron
This was probably one of the best restaurants! Food was innovative and exceptional, chef came out to greet us and explain each dish, staff was outstanding as well. There were 4 of us each had different appetizers, entrees and dessert and we are every bite. Run don’t walk to the lovely restaurant in a lovely renovated cottage.
I loved the mushroom soup— perfection would have been less salt. You can always add salt at the table but you cannot take it away.
Crabmeat salad was good — prefer room temp tomatoes. I always order dressing in side.
The cheese plate was generous and a bargain with good selection. I’d prefer olives to the spicy green beans.
This is becoming one of my go-to spots
A really wonderful dining experience. Appetizer, salad, main course and dessert- all exceeded expectations.
Our waiter was most attentive, and we enjoyed our delicious dinners.
Our party visited Apolline to meet with the general manager and plan an upcoming special event. We had an opportunity to try four "happy hour value" wines, four appetizers, three entrees, and three desserts. All I can say is WOW! The food, without exception, was amazing. Special standouts were the chargrilled oysters, shrimp and grits, gulf fish with pecan butter and grits, and bread pudding. The wines were also exceptional, under the radar finds that paired beautifully with our food but also could be enjoyed on their own. The service was friendly but never pushy, hitting just the right note. All in all, it was a business meeting that morphed into a relaxed, delicious dinner. We are thrilled we have chosen Apolline to host our special event.
