All three dishes were amazing!
As always, service, ambience and cuisine were all outstanding!!
very disappointed. hostess should have some personality-none present not even a smile or welcome.. waited outside for table to be set, hostess informed us that they would let us know when ready. did not.
service less than acceptable-had to wait over 20 minutes for 2nd cocktail, had to ask for water refill twice, after food was delivered server went MIA, asked hostess for water-all they did was track down the waiter when the water pitcher was less that 25 steps away. food was adequate nothing to brag home about. was not offered dessert at end of meal. this was not our 1st time there. returned because of amazing food and service last time. would not return again. food & service should be consistent not hit or miss.
Dinner was very nice. Poutine appetizer was amazing. So was the cheese plate.
Great service, friendly staff. Waited on us all night even past closing.
Great variety of tasty choices, great service, great experience.
Very good meal and service. Wine list was pretty solid (beer not so much). Indoor seating was nice until group of 7 arrived; area cannot support the increase noise.
Nick was an excellent waiter. Cocktails were pretty good, pork chop & the shrimp and grits were phenomenal. Street parking was not an issue. All staff members were very friendly and helpful.
Brunch was awesome. The shrimp and grits were delicious. Different take on the classic but delicious. The eggs Apolline was amazing, so many crawfish in it. The staff took exceptional care of us.
Excellent food and the service was very very good. All was excellent and the crowds of people were unbelievable.
I am from Louisiana, but this was my first time dining at Apolline. Truly the best shrimp and grits I have ever had. The dining room was upbeat, great background music, beautiful paintings that I wanted to take home, and superior service. We will definitely be back.
The restaurant was out of every seafood dish but one. The outdoor seating had seat not even designed fir eating at a table. The termites kept flying j to our wine. It was a horrible experience and I will never eat there again. Mike Eckstein
Disappointed. Service was extremely slow, took 45 minutes to get our cocktails and about that long before our orders were taken. Food was just ok, not what I’ve had before. This used to be in my top 3 “go to” restaurants, sad to say it is not any more.
One of our favorite meals while staying in NOLA. Would definitely return and highly recommend.
I had the pork enchiladas with the stone grits very good.
The night was perfect for eating outside! The oysters, the fish, the scallops and bread pudding were all deliciously cooked to perfection. Service was excellent we recommend this place and will be back!
It was ok. Not great. Service was fine. We were outdoor by request. Once we asked for different chairs which our server readily changed out, it was fine but the original ones outside when we arrived were awful. The food was fresh just not that tasty. Cheese platter was best thing. The bread was just not food and butter was soft if not melted. Lemon tart for dessert was just not so good. Mahi main course with grits was just not that flavorful. So, fair. We’d try again. Maybe there will be better choices.
Great brunch experience. Food & service was wonderful. Shout out to Blaine our server. Very attentive. Cinnamon pecan bacon was the best.
Great service on the patio under the stars. A good waiter makes all the difference. The Shrimp and Grits was given high marks. The seasoning has a touch of creole heat kicking it up a quarter notch. Having lived in Charleston, SC she is an expert on this dish. The cold smoked pork chop served medium on a bed of lighted fried sweet potatoes finished with fried onion strings on top was perfect. The wines selection is good and we paired a nice Napa Red.
Ending with the bread pudding was a happy ending to the experience. The brioche was a tiny bit crispy on the edge but good enough. Overall, Appoline is highly recommended by us and will definitely, get a return visit soon.
It was great.
Food was great, unfortunately due to covid there were a few options missing, however, we are excited to return to try them all!
Noise level was only because we sat outside and the traffic noise is loud. This place is amazing! Food was delicious we had gone to a much more expensive italian restaurant the night before and we couldnt get over how much better the food and prices were here! Service was top notch!
Excellent cocktails, Freda. Appetizers, Salads and Entrees all were on point.
Outside patio chairs uncomfortable otherwise great food and service.
We had dinner on the patio and it was perfect. Our server, Nick, was so pleasant. We really enjoyed his service and recommendations. I believe this food has to be some of the best I’ve had in New Orleans... the crab and corn bisque in particular. We didn’t leave room for dessert, but will be back for the apparently famous bread pudding soon!
The charbroiled oysters were primo. Great service. Dined outside. Enjoyable and relaxing. Good value for cost.
Was very excited to try this place. Unfortunately I was very disappointed.
Waited an hour for our food. Our order was very simple too! This is what we ordered:
Thick bacon with cinnamon - it was delicious, but we waited 30min for it.
Two orders of scrambled eggs with crispy bacon - eggs dry and wilted bacon which finally came out after an hour of being seated. Not once did the waiter say anything about the delay.
Eggs Benedict: no words to describe the dried egg.
Biscuits with jam: hard as a rock, tho jam was delicious. $80 for 3ppl.
I hadn’t been to Apolline in a few years and now I regret it. The food was excellent and the ambience of the restaurant was very calming. All safety protocols were in place and our party felt very safe and comfortable. I came with my parents and daughter and we ordered a good variety of choices from the Brunch Menu. Everything we got was absolutely delicious. I could eat the Praline Bacon all day. The Corn&Crab Bisque was especially good. The service was spot on. A perfect luncheon.
The cheeseboard was one of the best I’ve had in New Orleans All of the other dishes, including the Corn Maque Choux on the side, were delicious. Lydia was an exceptional server.
Aside from the stupidity of having to wear masks to walk 10 feet here or there, everything was fantastic. Couldn't more highly recommend.
Food was not as expected. I had the gulf fish and it was dry/overcooked. My daughter had the oysters also overcooked and two were even burned.
Service was excellent! And the restaurant is very cute.
The food was good; drinks from the bar left a lot to be desired. My Old Fashion was more like a whiskey sour. Lemon Drop martini was very small and cost $12. for house vodka.
Noise level was way too high. Very, very noisy and was hard to hold a conversation at a table for 2 (wish we would have sat outside). Service was impeccable (Alex was our server).
Great little restaurant with wonderful service. I am a local and this place is our go to every month. Fish is always fresher and prepared well. Overall a gem
Great atmosphere, great wine, outstanding food!
Dinner with family to celebrate the small wins. Great food, atmosphere and service. Highly recommend
Lovely evening experience with delicious food.
Great spot for brunch! The food was wonderful, and service was great. We had the chicken and waffles, shrimp and grits, and the Apolline Eggs! So good and would recommend. The drinks were also fresh and tasted excellent.
The restaurant was super clean and I can’t wait to visit again.
First time there. I’m a local. Everything was great. Generous size for the cocktails. Large portions. Fancy enough to feel special, but casual enough to enjoy it and relax.
Very tasty food, the specials were interesting and delicious!
One of the BEST restaurants in New Orleans. Food was out of this world and the service was excellent. Highly recommended!
