We dined in the weeks following Ida and were a little disappointed that they were on a very limited menu. But I must say, for a menu that I wasn't quite as excited about, we left raving about all of our dishes and drinks. Everything we had was beautifully plated and delicious. The drinks were equally so and very well-balanced. Our server provided impeccable service and, although it was probably a slower night for them, he never made us feel rushed. We will certainly be back.
The food was excellent in this intimate shotgun with a relaxed but sophisticated atmosphere. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a quiet delicious dinner or a gathering of friends.
Fabulous meal and great service!
Everything was delicious and our server, Nick, was a true delight. He truly made our experience a great time. Would recommend 10/10!!
We had a great experience here for brunch. Service was amazing, very nice and attentive. Never had to ask for anything, they anticipated our needs perfectly and the food was delicious!!
Wow shrimp and grits was spectacular and the cold smoked pork chop was out of this world
Dropping freshman off at Tulane; great Fried Green Tomato app and fish entry
Nikkai was top notch server. Bar tender created a perfect drink request. Food was generous and served hot the way I like it …boudin appetizer my favorite…Coolinary meal was a great value. Ambiance is pleasant and elegant. Never disappointed at APPOLINE 👌 ( Just sorry I forgot my phone for photos )
We went for coolinary dinner and ordered a few other items as well. The dumplings are really like fried wontons and very delicious!
Service was very good. Food was very good. A way out of downtown, but well worth it.
We did the coolinary menu, food was great, portions very healthy.
We really liked the ambiance of this restaurant. We ordered from the coolinary menu. I really enjoyed the fried green tomato appetizer and the grilled fish entree was delicious. However, we really didn't care for the sorbet dessert. He had the gnocchi appetizer. He said it was pretty good. As for the Veal entree, he felt it was a little thick and was not fried enough where the batter fell off when cut. We plan to go back and try the pork chop off the regular menu and I'm anxious to try the watermelon salad.
Watermelon salad was ok. I would have preferred it tossed with arugula rather than deconstructed.
Salmon is always good. I shouldn’t have ordered it well done.
Business seems to be booming here.
Service was efficient but too rushed for my taste. They were short-staffed like everyone so understandable.
Mask rule enforced
Food and service was amazing! The bottomless mimosas are not weak at all so it's definitely a great deal.
Staff , our waiter, was very nice and attentive.
Wonderful overall experience. food was excellent.
Nikia was our server and she was absolutely amazing. The food was delicious as well as the bottomless mimosas. Everyone should definitely give this hidden gem a try! I can’t recommend it enough.
Food was fantastic and drinks were delicious! We went for Coolinary and the set menu was PLENTY of food.
Had a wonderful COOLinary experience at Apolline! Loved the #freebrittany cocktail and the veal medallions. Will definitely be back!
The food, service, and atmosphere were amazing!!
The best food I’ve ever had in my life! the shrimp & grits....life changing. The free britney cocktail was outstanding! would highly highly recommend. The chef is a true creative genius!!
Excellent food and service. The noise level was nearly unbearable. We had four people at our table and could not carry on a conversation. As the restaurant filled up, the noise level just increased and increased. I left with a headache. While the food was as good as any I’ve ever had and out waitress was truest outstanding, I definitely will not return until something is done about the noise level. It’s just not acceptable to spend $250 for 4 and not be able to carry on a conversation.
The Coolinary menu was absolutely fantastic. Service was excellent as was the food. Would definitely go back again!
The food was great as usual. The servers worked well together to create an inviting experience. I'll be back!
Delicious and worth another visit. The Eggs appoline and praline bacon were divine, the endless mimosas were perfectly refreshing Food was fresh and atmosphere calm, clean and welcoming. Blaine was the beat server, attended to every request, no delays from ordering to eating, where many places in New Orleans have a long delay. Blaine had a great attitude and very knowledgeable. Definitely should not miss a visit to Appolines on magazine street. A++
It was very nice. Service was great. Food was amazing. Small restuarant with a lot of charm.
Booked this place because my friend who lives in Baton Rouge told me to try it. Looked it up, menus looked amazing, the atmosphere did too. We were all just kind of disappointed though. Started off great. Our server was super friendly and we could tell he was working hard, but between our first course and second course it took maybe 45 minutes to an hour. I understand it's a saturday night and it was very full, but I was expecting better. I can't speak for the whole table, but my food didn't even come out hot, it was luke warm so it wasn't the best considering it was fried. Prosecco was good, bread was warm and good but the $45 3 course dinner disappointed me. I would have ordered something cheaper if I had not had my expectations so high. Not sure I'd come back here again if I was in Nola again just because there is so many fancy and good restaurants for probably cheaper.
First the positives - the cocktails were wonderful, wine was great, and the space inside is really nice. They were understaffed, but I blame that on Covid and they tried very hard and all people there were quite nice.
However, the food wasn't as good as we expected. My husband's lamb was very dry and pretty small, and my grits for my shrimp and grits were more like a blob and again very dry. The bread they served seemed almost like a toasted hot dog bun, and the butter came in individual packets which was fairly bizarre.
If friends wanted to go back again then we would go with them, but would not initiate it on our own. It's really hard to write a review because I know Covid has changed so many things, but we also spent some good money and there are other places to try at this price point.
The family enjoyed the Coolinary experience last night. The vegetable sides for the table were great. Friendly, prompt wait-staff. The titles given to their mixed adult beverages were true ice-breakers to begin the evening. Excellent wine list. Recommend reservations as all tables were occupied.
Do not sleep on the oysters! We had a marvelous dinner, look forward to many more.
The fried green tomato starter was outstanding. The service was fast and friendly. Will definitely go back.
Food was terrific, service was warm and friendly.
The food was excellent! Service was as well. This is a hidden gem!
Getting together with friends. Unfortunately the AC wss on the fritz and the place was packed for the first night of Coolinary. It was really uncomfortable! The lack of adequate staff was understandable. The long wait times would have been mire pleasant if it wasn’t so hot!
The waitstaff was competent but understaffed. The salad dressing was acidic and poorly flavored. The fish was dry and partly old or spoiled.
We really enjoyed our visit to Apolloline. We live close by and pass it all the time and we decided to try and will be back.
nice atmosphere, not too much
great food and service
Food and drinks were great. Service was exceptional. We will be back!
Excellent and attentive service by Adam.

Excellent all around from the food to the service.
