Brunch menu is as exceptional as the dinner menu. What a terrific choice in such a wonderful foodie city. Dining on Magazine is always delicious and Apolline is a gem!
Everything was tasty (particularly the pork belly and crawfish gnocchi) and the service was great. They made us feel special on our anniversary!
Having been here many times, I am stunned at the horrible horrible service and really crappy meal. Wine was good; desert was good. I got my own pepper for my salad. Had to ask for utensils... I'm just shocked and so sorry that I brought an employee and his wife to dinner here tonight.
Jesse was a delightful and effective, energetic server. Pork belly dish needed a serrated knife to separate the meat from the non-meat - Jesse so provided.
Forgot our food order, waited over an hour for entrees. But the server was really nice. The ambiance is neat with exposed brick columns. And the food is a good blend of the base goodies everyone can enjoy
service was great. food was good Pork belly had a great sear on it, but should have left it in the oven to rendered the fat.
Lovely little place with a delightful menu. We went for the Coolinary menu(Aug in NOLA) and were not disappointed!
Gem of a restaurant Looks like a modest cottage on the outside. Excellent overall.
I've eaten here a couple dozen times. I've never had a bad dish. Their brunch really is exceptional.
The food is always good at Apolline and the servers are so friendly and helpful.
Excellent all around, Excellent Service and great atmosphere. Outstanding food
Loved this restaurant. We had early dinner and made their happy hour and were delighted with the oysters and Bloody Mary.
Our meal was excellent!
We ordered the sautéed mushrooms as a side, but had to send them back because they were too salty. We were offered an alternative, but declined and the mushrooms were removed from our bill.
Adam was our waiter and he was attentive, but not too in our face. He's great.
The flourless chocolate cake is FABULOUS!
Food was amazing, drinks delicious and service exceptional!...what a great find!
The fish was delicious! Staff very nice!!
From the cheery greeting of our server, it was such a pleasure to be there. The recommendations by our server were very helpful. The food was outstanding. The restaurant is in a quaint building. The interior was light, comfortable, and modern. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience.
The food was awesome and the service was attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. The atmosphere was good and the noise level was ideal- just enough to have privacy. Overall great experience.
Good food good service but no attention paid to Birthday request
Birthday celebration with friends!
Fantastic at every level! One of the best in New Orleans!
My husband and I had dinner at Apolline, the cocktails were very good, refreshing summer cocktails. The food was creative, fresh and amazing!! The service was impeccable and all the staff were very friendly and attentive.
Thank you Apolline, we will surely be back!!
Oysters were delicious! Half bottle option great!
This was one of the best meals my husband and I have had in awhile. My scallops were fresh and perfectly cooked. His smoked pork chop was tender and juicy. You can tell the kitchen staff puts tremendous care into the dishes they present. The cocktails were delicious too! We've eaten at many fine restaurants in the city and this was among the best!
During a recent visit to New Orleans, my partner and I decided to try Apolline's on a Saturday night after doing a brief search of restaurants online. The restaurant is located in a charming, renovated house with some outside seating.
Many items on the menu were different than shown online, so although a little concerned at first, we noticed a couple of dishes we wanted to try. The appetizer we ordered to split between us was an extremely generous bowl of over 3 dozen mussels in a heavenly, slightly spicy tomato broth. I could have eaten the entire loaf of french bread to sop up the scrumptious broth, but I had to save room for the entree. We both have small appetites, so we also decided to share the entree of seared scallops and shrimp served over a wonderfully seasoned corn base. We had an unexpected and pleasant surprise when the entree came to our table already divided among 2 plates for each of us. The service was perhaps one of the best I have ever experienced; our server was friendly and charming with a wonderful sense of humor. I would definitely make another visit to Apolline the next time we're in New Orleans.
A very hip little restaurant with great food. I had the fish which was yummy. The only issue was a group who were friends with the owner were so loud we asked to have our table moved. Which they did with no problem. Other than that I would go again.
Amazing! The food was great & our server, Jessica, was outstanding!!
C'est magnifique! From the moment we walked in the door, this place seemed special. Our host and hostess were polite and professional. Our server was great, very charming and easygoing, but also very knowledgeable about the menu and able to answer all of the questions we threw at her. She definitely made the evening more enjoyable.
The food, though, was the real highlight. We split charbroiled oysters and a lettuce wedge for our appetizers. Each was a modern play on a classic, and both were very satisfying. My wife had the scallops, and I had the fresh gulf fish. Both were prepared perfectly, and were delicious.
We definitely hope to return the next time we are in New Orleans.
I loved it! The food was fantastic and I had an outstanding cocktail. Portions were generous so we didn't have room for dessert but we would have if we could have. I highly recommend Apollline to anyone who appreciates creative and delicious food.
The space at Apolline is airy, with great artwork and funky colors on the way to and in the bathroom. Good selection of classic and creative cocktails, and also a decent wine list. We were two couples, each shared one of the salads, which were delicious, and then each of us had an entree ranging from bone in pork chop, to local pan-seared fish and scallops and shrimp. All of the sides were tasty, but the highlight was the corn maque choux that accompanied the scallops and shrimp. Our server was helpful, accommodating, and fun. We had a lovely time.
A gem on Magazine. Service was outstanding. I’m sad that I can’t recollect our servers name, she was amazing. Food equally amazing. Couldn’t ask for anything better.
Chef Mike rolled out a new appetizer- gnocchi with crawfish. Really good! Muscles were excellent! My husband had the pork dish. Everything was exceptional!
Every item we enjoyed was Better than the last. The scallops were cooked to perfection and the crab and pea risotto was to die for. Save room for dessert- the bread pudding has candied pecans that are heavenly!
My husband and I had a 9:00pm dinner at Apolline to celebrate our 50th anniversary. We were visiting New Orleans for the first time & found the restaurant in a magazine recommending local restaurants. We found the atmosphere charming, the food delicious and well prepared, our waiter excellent, and the wine recommendation perfect for the dinners we chose. We were given a complimentary dessert to celebrate our anniversary. If we are ever in New Orleans again, we would definitely plan on dinner at Apolline.
The Delux Bloody Mary was everything I hoped it would be. It’s one of the reasons I came to Nola and it was worth it.
Would definitely return!
Consistently good. Always on my list when in New Orleans.
Hands down the best dining experience we had during our recent trip to NOLA (and believe me we had some great experiences overall!). The unassuming exterior belies the casual elegance inside. Our server (Nelie, I believe?) was friendly, knowledgeable, attentive and spot on perfect! We felt they were truly glad to have us as their guests. The menu is creative and expertly prepared and presented. Recommended from our visit is the Lamb Ragu - flavor, flavor, flavor in every bite, topped with a decadent poached egg and swimming with briny capers and fresh tomatoes, and the Pan-Seared Black Drum - pan seared to perfection on a bed of creamy crab & pea risotto. If you're in NOLA, you must add Appoline to your list of dining destinations.
Had a managers meeting there at lunch on Thursday. Everyone on the team really enjoyed the food and pretty decor. Will likely return for dinner with my husband.
The food and service were outstanding. We were a party of 6 people. The chargrilled oysters were great, as well as the mac n' cheese as starters. The gulf fish of the day was cobia or lemonfish, which was excellent. As well as the scallops. Someone ordered Lamb Ragu which was very good also. We ordered the bread pudding and crème brulee for dessert. The bread pudding was out of this world. We will definitely return to Apolline.
