Great food, professional service. Fine dining at its best.
Been 18 months since we dined at our favorite restaurant in LA. Everything is wonderful and true Southern California dining which is why A.O.C. is a legacy and legendary restaurant. Brentwood location is more convenient but does not have the architectural charm of the West Hollywood location.
Everything fabulous, love the outdoor patio. The food is always amazing
It was for a birthday celebration. Foods were in small sizes and the waitress who served us did tell us we might need 2-3 plates per person, platters were a bit bigger. There were 3 of us, we ordered 5 plates and 1 platter and it was a-bit too much for us, so 2 plates per person was quite enough (we are all ladies, FYI) and we shared the food so that we got to taste everything. We have enjoyed the environment, service, food quality was top, everything was delicious, it was a great experience and memorable gathering! Thank you everyone work in AOC!
The best brunch I've had in Los Angeles in a long time.
The best always!
Delicious food and good service!
Our server “Jeff” provided excellent service, made great food recommendations and overall made our first dining experience very memorable.
Birthday for my girl friend…. Wonderful experience as usual at AOC!
This was our second time at AOC and the service and food were incredible. All meals were well portioned and the menu is updated to reflect seasonal ingredients. neighboring tables were all in good spirits adding to the pleasing ambiance of the patio and dining experience.
The food was great, especially the farmer share plate.
We had a table at 2 so we were rushed to order before the kitchen closed, understandable.
But after we’d eaten no one cleared our plates, asked if we wanted coffee or anything.
Our server over poured our wine to finish it quickly and then a half hour later at 4pm (still without clearing the table) the bill was plonked on the table.
Not a great way to end a meal. If you are that worried about clearing everyone out at 4pm on the dot don’t book tables after 1.30.
Will book earlier next time!
I have been to AOC a few times for brunch and always enjoyed it but not so much this time. The beautiful outdoor space I usually sit in was closed for a private event that evening so we were sat on the outside area which was formerly the parking lot. What is disappointing about this space is the trash bins are hiding just behind the fence which caused tons of flies flying around the tables and landing on our food. There are even tables basically up against the fence which is all that separates the table from the trash bins. I understand the restaurant had to create more outdoor dining space due to COVID but it is so unappetizing seeing flies land on your food. We didn’t touch half of our charcuterie board and blueberry bread because flies had landed on them. I hope the restaurant can figure out how to remedy this issue.
Great ambiance, great food and the service was great.
Very pretty restaurant — food and wine are a bit overpriced although tasted good
the server I had seemed obviously disappointed that we were eating light and not drinking alcohol thinking more of his gratuity than our experience
— I was a server myself so I know the type and I know there are a lot of crappy tippers out there — there are also people who tip great on smaller bills — there’s no way to predict so you should just give all tables great service and trust that you will be compensated fairly
at the end of the day I don’t think I’d go back here again —
It was a birthday celebration and all we hoped. We sat in the main garden. It was beautiful and did not feel too close to other diners. Lee our waiter was fabulous and every suggestion he made was great.
Beautiful patio with brilliant bougainvillea made us feel relaxed and comfortable. We loved every dish we ordered and can’t wait to go back to try others. A truly wonderful dining experience.
Very chill and well priced extremely nice and attentive staff.
Great venue, amazing ambiance, professional staff. The food was strangely seasoned, either not salted enough or just sort of bland. Nice place overall.
Beautiful space, incredible food and great service! Even our 7 year-old raved about the “grown up” food—-which was incredibly flavorful and perfectly seasoned. We ordered 5 different dishes to share and none disappointed. I would highly recommend this restaurant and plan to go back again myself very soon.
The food was not as good as I remember. Too much oil and other fats. Our server seemed disinterested and not very helpful.
The drinks are over priced and did not taste good. They seemed watered down. The long Island ice teas we ordered tasted like lemon juice, we had to send them back. The French toast was good for one, under cooked for another and over cooked for the other and under cooked for another. Very inconsistent. The fruit was good and the chicken part of the chicken and waffles was good. The waffles taste like the were made with corn meal.
The beacon was good and the orange juice was great. The mimosa's were ok but for 16 dollars for a drinks I would expect something more robust.
My family came here for Sunday brunch and had the best time. The service, food was top notch and if you’re lucky enough to be seated in Michael section go for it.
Ate in the beautiful patio and loved loved the Spanish chicken waffles. It is always and enjoyable exonerating at A.O.C.
Food was decent as always. Ryan and Leah (wait staff) we’re absolutely great. We really didn’t like the host, though. She was not warm at all and lied to our faces about tables being available outside. We asked her twice before We spotted two empty ones on the patio. Her response was “oh I guess there is”. “I thought you meant the other patio”.
This stood out to as as favoritism (unless she somehow truly didn’t know) and a horrible restaurant practice. I hope to never deal with her again.
Food was delicious. Ambience was nice. It was overpriced though.
Exceptional service, beautiful garden patio dining.
Food is okay. Nothing too special. Ambiance good.
Amazing brunch experience with my fiancé. The food was amazing! Our new favorite brunch spot!
Perhaps I am a bit wistful about AOC's old location, service and menu. While everything was okay, that's just the point.. it was okay. Gone is the extensive small plates menu, and I felt like everything was pretty standard fare. Service was slow, the food arrived at weird increments, and a few of the items were luke warm by the time they arrived. I know everyone is getting on their feet again, but I doubt I'll be back. There are far better options at about the same price range.
Great server. Hard to describe her because of mask but red hair.
I’m certain to go back. The food is outstanding. Understanding these are small plates, the portions are ridiculously small. We also had an issue with our cocktails. The pours are on the light side. We sent our drinks back to be remade. Our waiter went as far to tell us ‘the bartender said you aren’t meant to taste the alcohol’.
Loved the food, ambiance and service. It was exceptional.
Always super 🤍
Amazing hospitality and service by Michael and the entire team. The food was wonderful. All of the food was special but I particularly enjoyed the clams, the halibut, and the peach dessert.
AOC is a fantastic place for dinner. There is always incredible food and impeccable service in an exquisite environment.
The outdoor dining areas are great. So is the menu. Don't miss the foccacia with cherries. We asked that the speck be omitted from it, however--making it a fine vegetarian selection.
Wonderful experience! Great place to celebrate. Food was excellent and very innovative.
Food was delicious and patio so pretty. Great service and appreciated the candle in our dessert
The ambience and service were very good. The food and selections are fair, but nothing to write mother about.. I really miss Sunday suppers at Lucques. Nevertheless, the crab omelet lacked seasoning and could have been great with a sauce, the chicken and waffle dish was standard fried chicken ala fast food chicken fingers and the waffle was like a piece of bread that was waffle ironed rather than in a toaster. The other members of our party of six seemed to enjoy their selections.
The inside of this restaurant is exceptional...try to sit inside if you can...the second patio is fine, not terrible. The food and service are excellent!
