We were hugely disappointed with the quality of the food. The escargot lacked garlic, the shrimp creole was bland, the steak filet was average. The bread pudding was outstanding and the service was great with the exception of serving a steak with no steak knife. Sadly, we will not be back.

The service was great and the atmosphere was nice but the food was not worth the price. Most of my table ordered the lamb chops and they were all over cooked. For the person in my group that or ordered the chicken rochambeau was extremely dry and flavorless. For dessert part of the table ordered Baked Alaska and the pound cake was very dry and the portions were not balanced even though we paid for the dessert by the portion. Overall, I wouldn’t return here when coming back to New Orleans there is much better food in the city at a better price. Maybe order drinks at the bar and appetizers if you wanted to experience the restaurant but don’t want to waste money of the food.

an amazing experience. there is no wonder why this place has been in business for SO many years. what a great restaurant. our meals were amazing-- from seafood to steaks to the chicken. the service was outstanding- the servers were so attentive. The BAKED ALASKA- you cannot go here and NOT get the Baked Alaska for dessert. Make sure to tell them at the beginning of the service that you want one. The chocolate fudge drizzle on the top .... mmmmm- one amazing dessert! The place is HUGE- so if you're looking for a quiet and intimate atmosphere, this is not for you. We were going for the Antione's experience, not an intimate or private dining experience.... so it was perfect for us. The noise level wasn't outrageous. It was very comfortable. We would 100% recommend this restaurant & we will 100% return on our next visit to NOLA. TRULY A GREAT PLACE

I love the 180 year history and ambience and the wine list was excellent. Unfortunately, the food quality was barely above cafeteria level and the service included delivering an incorrect order and forgetting a beverage. For a meal in the range of $100 per person (wine included) the quality should be much better.

We had a sever on their very first shift who wasn’t ready to be on her own. My first sentence to her was “We’re so excited to be here-we heard you’re one of the oldest restaurants in the country”. She greeted us with a blank look and then said “I don’t know”. I then asked her what an ingredient was in one of the mock tail drinks that I’ve never heard of and she said “I don’t know”. I tried to change it up and ask her what they are known there for and again I got “I don’t know”. At that point she finally told us it was her first day. I was really surprised they would let her go out on the floor without a shadow or someone to help her. It was 6pm and pretty empty. Not being from the area we asked what the texture was of a local fish and at the 4th “I don’t know” I asked if there was someone who could assist her. The hotel & the website really stresses the dress code. We went and bought my son a collared shirt so we could dine there, really disappointed to see people walk in and one lady was wearing a Levi’s logo tshirt & jean shorts and the gentleman was wearing sandals and jean shorts too. Overall we were totally disappointed with the whole experience but the charbroiled oysters were absolutely delicious!

Historic place that was fun to visit. One of the dining rooms is very loud. Service is OUTSTANDING. The food was disappointing. Two fish dishes overcooked, the third boring flavors. The lamb chops were untrimmed and mostly pure fat. Gumbo and onion soup where meh. Great creme brulee.

Alvin and Fairy were friendly and knowledgeable. Alvin told us about the history of the restaurant and about the signature dish - Oysters Rockefeller created in 1889, which was delicious. Fairy took us on a tour of the restaurant with interesting stories about the history of Madi Gras. Eggs Benedict, French Toast and Bread Pudding were great!

Excellence all around. We were the only people of colour dining there perhaps that’s why the band played at all the tables - every single one- except ours. Other than that it was an excellent experience.

We were very excited to go but felt the service was a little slow. There were loads of servers but they spent more time rushing around rather than doing. Two tables beside us were not cleared the whole time we were there. Chargrilled oysters were good as was the Bloody Mary. Desert was a disaster with the baked Alaska we ordered in advance delivered in small dishes with apologies. With chocolate on top! They removed from the bill. Jazz band was fun.

We had a wonderfull time at Antoine's for Jazz Brunch, even though it wasn't quite what we expected. We were sat in the first dining room, which doesn't have a lot of personality. We would have loved to have been given an option to sit in the red dining room. The "jazz brunch" wasn't very jazzy-we had to ask about the music because we thought there might have been a mistake on where we were sat. Turns out it is a band that goes from room to room and plays a few songs to some tables. They were great and very entertaining, we just thought we'd be eating brunch listening to a live band the entire time. The food was okay-there were some issues with the orders, but management was very kind. The cheese blintzes were definitely our favorite. Our server Leda and her assistant were AMAZING and they made our entire day by being so wonderful.

This is an impressive historic property right in the heat of the French Quarter and I'm glad I went here with my husband. 1/2 of the cocktails that I ordered were good, and although my potato souffle appetizer and pecan bread pudding dessert were perfect, my entree was cool when it arrived, so I can't give the food 5/5 stars.

Great atmosphere and food. The Red Fish was excellent along with the charbroiled Oysters. The highlight were the drinks made for us at the bar while waiting for our table. Bartender Chad provided us excellent service and made me probably the best Old Fashion I have ever had. If you’re going to eat at Antoine’s, stop by the bar first and have a drink, you will not be disappointed.

It was what one would expect from such an institution. Service was on point, food was excellent, and the experience was (mostly) exactly as it should have been. The only caveat was that the dress code, for one or two tables, seems to have been overlooked... (shorts, t-shirts, hoodies, etc.) which left a slight tarnish on an otherwise exceptional brunch experience.

Unfortunately, we had such a terrible dinner. Reservations were pretty late but don't have late reservations if you can't accommodate your guests. We ate our entree maybe 1 hr 15 after sitting. The steak was so salty, I couldn't eat it. The gulf fish was also so salty that we felt sick. In addition, the dessert baker was on her way home so ordering dessert felt wrong but we didn't even want to order because we were nervous the dessert would taste awful too. I think the restaurant had an off night because a lot of tables were complaining. Really unfortunate for how much we paid.
