Celebrating 185 years in the French Quarter, Antoine's welcomes you to enjoy our traditional French creole fare as well as updated classics in our beautiful and historic restaurant setting in the heart of the French Quarter.

Antoine's Dress Code is

Business Casual: Jackets and collared shirts are strongly suggested for gentlemen. We kindly ask all guests not to wear athletic or beach clothing, baseball caps, or flip-flops. Antoine’s dress code will be enforced at the discretion of the manager.

The food is consistently superb and the ambience stunning. But the very best part was having Chuck as our server/guide. He shares the amazing history of the restaurant with both facts and lovely humor. He will absolutely direct you to the finest choices for that meal.

We were seated promptly even though we were 15 minutes early. Russell greeted us and gave us some delicious suggestions and information. The oysters were fabulous and could have been the whole meal! One of us had fillet Oscar, cooked perfectly to their liking. The other had the lamb chops, four wonderfully done chops. Be sure not to miss the sautéed potatoes. Amazing. Russel was very attentive and helpful with our wine requests, as well. Save room for the wonderful pecan pie a la mode and flourless chocolate cake. They were spectacular ! The entire meal and dining experience was really special. Don’t miss it on your trip to NewOrleans!

Felt like we were pushed into the back room, instead of the formal restaurant. Told them it was a birthday meal, so felt disappointed and shortchanged. Dress code totally ignored by most diners, lots in shorts & tshirts. Average at best

The dress code is defined on our website and on OpenTable as: "a smart casual dress code: collared shirts are suggested for gentlemen. Kindly, no cargo or athletic shorts, baseball hats, tank tops, or flip flops in the dining room. The dress code will be enforced at the discretion of the Maître D." Regardless, we apologize if you felt any sort of discomfort when dealing with this. We also understand your disappointment regarding the seating arrangement. On your next visit, make sure with your reservation to note where you'd like to sit. This way we can accommodate as best we can.

Antione's is a classic New Orleans restaurant. It is like a beautiful museum inside. Everyone in our party had fish for dinner and loved it. The onion rice was especially good. Coffee and pecan pie topped off the meal.
