Antoine's Restaurant a contribué à faire de la Nouvelle-Orléans une des plus grandes destinations de restauration dans le monde. Antione's is a classic New Orleans restaurant. It is like a beautiful museum inside. Everyone in our party had fish for dinner and loved it. The onion rice was especially good. Coffee and pecan pie topped off the meal.

We came for the Mother’s Day Brunch, and we were very excited. The history, the reviews, and it was a special event for Mother’s Day. The servers were super attentive for the first 15 minutes, and then we hardly saw them. A different person came to drop the food off. The coffee was cold and two of the three meals were cold. The baked Alaska dessert was melted and really just milk and cookie. The best part was the Lemon Beignet that was a punch of lemony goodness. When I mentioned that our food was cold, I was dismissed. We loved the Trio who came to play us a song. That was the highlight. I HATE leaving negative reviews, but this was just not a good experience.

We were served by Darla and her brother (I'm sorry, I can't remember his name). They were excellent, kind, and attentive. They made great recommendations, and Darla went out of her way to accommodate my mother. The restaurant and the food were great, but I wanted to shout those two out specifically. Excellent service!

Some dishes were great others were just ok. Gumbo was particularly noteworthy. The service was excellent. We had a few miscues that management at the behest of our waiter made right comings on a few items much to their credit.
