   Felt like we were pushed into the back room, instead of the formal restaurant. Told them it was a birthday meal, so felt disappointed and shortchanged. Dress code totally ignored by most diners, lots in shorts & tshirts. Average at best

   Hey Carl, we're truly sorry to hear that your experience at Antoine's didn't meet your expectations. We understand that the dress code and the seating arrangement contributed to that. The dress code is defined on our website and on OpenTable as: "a smart casual dress code: collared shirts are suggested for gentlemen. Kindly, no cargo or athletic shorts, baseball hats, tank tops, or flip flops in the dining room. The dress code will be enforced at the discretion of the Maître D." Regardless, we apologize if you felt any sort of discomfort when dealing with this. We also understand your disappointment regarding the seating arrangement. On your next visit, make sure with your reservation to note where you'd like to sit. This way we can accommodate as best we can.

   Antione's is a classic New Orleans restaurant. It is like a beautiful museum inside. Everyone in our party had fish for dinner and loved it. The onion rice was especially good. Coffee and pecan pie topped off the meal.

   We came for the Mother’s Day Brunch, and we were very excited. The history, the reviews, and it was a special event for Mother’s Day. The servers were super attentive for the first 15 minutes, and then we hardly saw them. A different person came to drop the food off. The coffee was cold and two of the three meals were cold. The baked Alaska dessert was melted and really just milk and cookie. The best part was the Lemon Beignet that was a punch of lemony goodness. When I mentioned that our food was cold, I was dismissed. We loved the Trio who came to play us a song. That was the highlight. I HATE leaving negative reviews, but this was just not a good experience.

    We were served by Darla and her brother (I'm sorry, I can't remember his name). They were excellent, kind, and attentive. They made great recommendations, and Darla went out of her way to accommodate my mother. The restaurant and the food were great, but I wanted to shout those two out specifically. Excellent service!
