About a 15 min wait past the time of our reservation with several empty tables… then an extremely long wait for service. Two items were unavailable, but we were only told several minutes after ordering each one. Approx 1.5 hrs from our reservation to actually getting an appetizer. In spite of all that, the staff was friendly and the food was generally good. Ok place to eat if you’re not in a hurry.

Ok, so I have said it before and will say it again: I will choose elsewhere when dining in Bend, even if this restaurant is on the river! I mean where does Anthony’s get their pricing structure? This is the hardest casual dining place to find a good meal for a decent price! $29 for a Cobb salad or a slimmed version a fish and chips! Seriously? Everything basically goes up from there! Except a tiny cup of chowder for $9. It’s not even fine dining to warrant their prices. No longer a place for us! Worst margarita on the planet. Flavors were good otherwise. Service very good.

Or party of 5 ended up a party of 4 and we were graciously taken to another table/booth for 4, but it was tucked away in the back corner, so it didn’t feel as festive to us, and we certainly could better hear each other in conversation compared to the main dining area and especially the front lobby/bar area. Steamed mussels were perfectly done, and the warm sourdough spectacular!
