Superior Peruvian foods. Lots of tapas as well as full course dinners. Kinda crowded, but a top tier experience. Been back multiple times.
Andina is our favorite restaurant for a long time. Their tapas are great, especially the octopus kebabs. The entries however are mediocre.
Excellent waiter (David) and excellent food. We loved it
Great atmosphere. Delicious spicy Peruvian food. Great cocktails. Noisy but fun.
Great Restaurant for a special occasion. Food was great, made fresh to order, we did not feel rushed and had plenty of time in between courses. The service was phenomenal. Our waiter was very knowledgeable of the menu. Hard to get into restaurant— it took my boyfriend and I a year to get in, but worth booking in advance.
Andina never disappoints. Business meal, get together with friends, or a romantic date night dinner - it's a great fit for all occasions. The food and service are outstanding and the GF options are wonderful.
One of the best dinners I have ever had and one of the best cocktails! Would highly recommend!
We did not enjoy sitting downstairs in a remote room, but the food was outstanding.
The cebiche is the best ever! I have now sat in every portion of this restaurant. While the ambiance changes with the noise level, there are ALL wonderful in their own space.
The pineapple infused mojito is delicious! Service is friendly and fairly fast and every one of the food items I have tried here are also very tasty. Recommend highly!
Excellent overall. Great food with a creative menu
Unfortunately, the night we went two of the chefs hadn’t shown up for work. So there was a one hour and 15 minute wait between the drinks/appetizers and dinner. We were not advised of the situation until very late in the waiting period which was frustrating. Also during that time, no one came to our table to see if we would like a second beverage or some kind of complementary bread, etc. We were unable to have dessert as our parking meter had run out by the time we were able to quickly finish our meal and pay the check.
Dinner with best friend
Highly recommend Andina. Food was fresh, flavorful, and authentic.
New experience with Peruvian Food; very much enjoyed and appreciated. Will seek out more Peruvian Food experiences because dinner st Andina was soooo good.
One of the best meals I've had in months. The food was OUTSTANDING. Don't miss the aji de gallina. Even the bread and its dipping sauces were fantastic and unique. Our server was very friendly and helpful, and a woman who I believe was an owner was happy to chat with us about their food and heritage. We were visiting from Dallas, but if we lived in Portland we'd eat there every week.
Delicious food, excellent and friendly service, great music!
Nice place, good food. Expensive so I think I had higher expectations. Our server was very very sweet.
Outstanding dining experience. Wide variety of flavors, temperatures, and textures and all very well executed. Highly recommended.
This was my first time to Andina and I can say with absolute surety that it won’t be my last. Well done Andina !! 5 stars all around. Get the lamb chops.
Amazing Peruvian food to die for. Excellent service. Scallops were the best ever.
A very loud and crowded place, and we can see why. Room was a little cramped but not unusually for a city restaurant. The food however was outstanding! Great tapas selection, and every dish fantastic. Really good sangria as well.
Service was friendly and efficient. Have not had much Peruvian before, but was really good and it is not that spicy.
If we lived in the area would be a restaurant to return to!
Our two granddaughters and oldest daughter from Philadelphia all love Andina as do we. The tapas like menu allows the selection of a variety of items from ono ceviche to mixta nikei. From top to bottom the kitchen serves up delicious Peruvian food.
Birthday, great place to celebrate
Andina provides excellent food and great service. The owner is very personable and makes a point of talking with customers. Unfortunately, it is so noisy that it is difficult to hold a conversation with one's companion.
The food was delicious. The staff was lovely.
BUT the noise was crippling.
It was a wonderful experience!
My two younger daughters and I were honoring the loss of my oldest daughter ( their sister) and decided to explore a new RESTO in Portland that she would have definitely enjoyed. Andino was just the perfect place! The food was superb, the service professional, the ambiance "magnifique" and the location real easy to get to . It was a lovely experience from beginning to end! (Kathy was smiling from heaven!)
Thank you to the waiters who were so attentive, and especially to Mrs Rosi (the owner' s mother) who graciously came to our table to give us a bit of history on the Resto!

Sensational authentic Peruvian gourmet cuisine. Broad menu choices, each containing fresh local ingredients. The Dunginess stuffed avocado small plate starter helped set the mood for the entree: lightly grilled strip steak upon grilled onions and topped by a fried egg, sunny side up. The caramelized plantain made an unusual, delicious accompaniment. The less-than-premium steak somewhat detracted from an otherwise wonderful meal, well served by the restaurant’s attentive, knowledgeable staff.
The paella was amazing! My boyfriend had the empanadas & they were delicious. Highly recommend Andina while in Portland.
I've been hearing about Andina for years, and finally got the chance to go for my birthday. We had a bit of a glitch (caused by us) by showing up early for our reservation. We thought we might be able to go to the bar and grab a drink, but found out upon arrival that the bar was not open seating- we were seated by the bar and given the option of moving when our reserved table was available. we ended up staying in place, but they tried their best and service was prompt, friendly, and conversational. The food was fantastic! Tender, perfectly seasoned octopus, delicious empanadas, and perfectly done lamb chops were highlights of our visit. Drinks were great too. The music was nice, but we found it a bit repetitive. The layout of the restaurant was cramped, and we found our group of five plastered against the wall while servers tried to get by with food while we were figuring out seating. All in all, I want to go again, like, tomorrow, and would absolutely recommend this place to anyone I talk to.
Andina is my family's all-time favorite restaurant in the Pearl. Their innovative, exotic, flavorful cuisine is always exceptional. It's a beautiful and tastefully decorated place and the servers are all welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful. Dessert is not to be missed either! We would recommend this gem without hesitation and can't wait to enjoy another memorable meal there!
This is our fifth visit to Andina and each time seems to get better. Extremely interesting and creative Peruvian cuisine, the variety seems endless. The service is impeccable. Kudos. Five stars!
Excellent food and service every time.
Great service. Amazing food!!
Every item we tried from the menu was excellent. Fresh ingredients and beautiful presentation.
The food and our waiter were both great. the only complaint that i have is with requesting a table. When i made my reservation in the requests i asked to be seated at a window table but when we got the the restaurant we were taken downstairs into a room with no natural light or windows and seated at a table in the corner. I mentioned that i had requested a window table and we were taken back upstairs but were told that there was no window table available. We were seated at a table in the middle of the main diningroom and werer pleased that we didnt have to sit in a room with no windows since we were celebrating a birthday.
Friendly reception, attentive server, good and creative cuisine. No rushing. A pleasant experience.
Always good food and helpful staff. Owner visits with guests and ensures that everyone is happy.
First time here. Food is authentic Peruvian cuisine. Having just recently come back from Peru it didn't disappoint. The atmosphere was amazing. And the personal visit from Doris Rodriguez, whose family owns the restaurant, was one of the highlights of the evening for me and my family!!
I'm a big Pisco Sour fan, but definitely try the Sacsayhuaman if you want something with a little kick.
Overall an awesome experience! Highly recommend!!!
Amazing food. Recommend their fish Ceviche and lomo Saltado!
