Our Executive Chef, Cristian Pontiggia, combines old world cooking techniques with modern, innovative recipes and artful plating. His dishes fully embrace the Inn’s Southwestern and native heritage and are consistently changing and adapting to reflect the freshest, most seasonal local ingredients. Lombardy native Chef Cristian has won numerous awards such as Chef of the Year in New Mexico 2023 from the New Mexico Restaurant Association, and also Chef of the Year in 2022 and 2023 from the American Culinary Federation. Most recently, he was Semifinalist in the James Beard award competition for the Best Chef of the Southwest. The restaurant has been awarded with the Wine Spectator’s Best of Award of Excellence in 2023 and 2024, featuring the most exclusive wines from around the world.

My wife and I wanted to take her mother to lunch in Santa Fe. Most other restuarants were buffets or in a tent for Mothers Day. We were able to grab a reservation at Anasazi at 1:00 pm. The ambiance and seating are amazing. We were seated and then ordered a bottle of wine. We were asked if we wished to order or wait until the wine was seerved. No rush was placed upon us. I was suprised and pleased that the red was at cellar temprature and not room temperature. We ordered. Food came out at a proper pace. The mushroom soup was fantastic but the best order was the cesear salad. Fantastic presentation. My wife an her mother had the lobster and I had the baja fish tacos. The lobster was perfect and the aspargus was wrapped in proschuto. No bite was left behind. Dessert was coconut creme brule and bread pudding. Not since Commanders Palace in New Orleans have I had such a delicious bread pudding! The meal was paced, never, ever a rush, the staff were attentive. We found a new favorite restaurant. Thank you everyone.

As one of the classiest hotels in Santa Fe I thought why haven’t my wife and I eaten at this place. We knew that our dear friend Christian was the executive chef so it’s got to be good. I had the lamb my wife had tuna poke and our friend ordered the salmon. We all loved our dishes but what totally blew me away was that my wife really enjoyed her poke. It was chef’s recommendation and he has expanded her taste for new delicious flavors.

Was extremely disappointed in the food! The branding was dry and tasteless. The cheesecake could have been made from cardboard. The service was adequate but nothing exceptional

I am a local. I met a friend here expecting something special for restaurant week lunch. The meat we were served with our enchiladas was like tough leather. They offered to bring us another serving to replace, but we did not want more of the same.. I will not go back, ever.

Went for the first time for lunch and got the Restaurant Week menu. Disappointed. The salad greens were wilted and if there was dressing on it, I couldn't taste it. The Branzino and it's sauce was good but I have never seen a filet that was about half an inch thin, mostly bone and skin and about the size of a coaster. The creme brulee was decent. Underwhelmed, especially considering the price. Also, I recognize I will pay more for s glass of wine in a restaurant than the one I'd have at home: but to charge $20 for a glass of CA SB is nuts. I never buy or drink CA SBs because they are inferior to the same priced and much, much better NZ or Chilean SB. I'd you'd gonna charge that much for a glass of SB, you should at least offer better ones.
