Loved the food although this is a small restaurant with very tight. Also it’s very loud, but I would definitely go back. Maybe sit outside next time!
Amalfi is a great restaurant with a great GM Adrain we had a problem with my food order and they replaced without question. Food is great. Probably our favorite Italian restaurant. Service great for us. We eat there at least once per month. Thank you all.
Excellent but too many smokers on the patio.
I come at least 2-3 times a week and often the service is just extremely slow. I had to tell the waiter that I’m on my lunch break and I don’t have all day. It was improved for awhile but slowly getting back to poor service especially when I’m outside. They dropped off the food and almost don’t even check if I needed anything else. Today was a miserable experience
Always wonderful, and perfect for a special event
Amalfi never disappoints, the service is unparalleled, ambiance with the sweetest piano player and divine food keeps us going back for more each time!
Food was good and service was too. However, we were put in the back corner of the private room in a small table next to a very loud table! We did get moved finally. The price for 2 for 1 salad, 2 entrees was more than many fine dining 5* restaurants in a restaurant located in a shopping center.
The people were amazing (thank you Manuel). It was a lovely, fun experience. We would most certainly return. Everyone felt like family :)
Best Italien in Houston. Authentic!
Wonderful meal, enjoyed the Houston restaurant week menu. Will definitely go back.
We visit here often and the service and food are very consistent. It is never disappointing we love all the details of traditional Italian food and excellent quality wine. Every special occasion or date night brings us back.
Great experience for our anniversary. Diego is a great waiter. We will be back
We usually order the Mushroom (Fungi) pizza. This visit was a bit different. Our pizza order had a thicker crust and seemed to be smaller in size. We definitely prefer the thinner crust. Otherwise, we Love Love Love our Amalfi Family !!!!!
Amalfi was a delightful experience from beginning to end. Went for HRW and there were two added bonuses on the menu which was nice. The service was excellent and the place had a nice atmosphere. It did become a bit packed about 45 min before we left but other than that I had a wonderful experience.
We came for the Houston Restaurant Weeks menu. The quality of the menu selections and presentation were excellent! Each course was top notch. Also the ambiance was intimate and enjoyable by couples and families alike. The staff takes pride in service which is quite refreshing during this time. This was a wonderful experience.
I came to Amalfi during Houston Restaurant Week, so keep that in mind for this review. I was hoping for a nice solo meal, but what I ended up getting was an overcrowded, incredibly noisy experience with a sub-par meal. Hamachi appetizer was flavorful and bright, and the dessert had flavors that were exciting and popped out of the dish. I had the scialatelli for the main course, and it was drab and underseasoned. Nothing about the dish was memorable. Staff seemed eager to move me along, but it might be they were understaffed and rushed during the pandemic.
The food and service was great. The noise level, however, was incredible. Hard to have a conversation at your own table with the loud noise plus piano man. Otherwise, it’s a great place.
Fantastic meal at Amalfi! The staff was superb and really took care of our group. All but one took part in the Houston Restaurant Week menu. The one that didn’t participate got helpful recommendations from the staff. One person in the group originally didn’t want to go as they don’t like Italian food. Amalfi has changed their mind. I’ve been on several occasions and dinner has always been amazing. Great food, wine, and staff. What more can you ask for?
I highly recommend visiting Amalfi and not just during restaurant weeks. There are so many menu options. You will not be disappointed.
Service was great. Made excellent wine recommendations. Food was tasty and just enough. Will come back to try more dishes!
Great experience staff are friendly food is fantastic have been here many times our favorite Italian Restaurant.
food, service and atmosphere were all outstanding. Highly recommend
Date night with husband
We LOVE Amalfi! One of the Houston’s best restaurants. Great atmosphere! Great service! Great food!
We had a large group for HRW. The restaurant accommodated us very well. The food was very interesting with good choices for all across the board. The portions were generous and food prepared very nicely. The noise level was a bit high which made it difficult to have a conversation with people across the table. The servers were attentive. This is a lovely place.
Sadly Amalfi has decided to cram as many tables as physically possible into their space. I hope this is just for Houston Restaurant Month. The food was outstanding and the service good but the noise level was terrible.
Great food, service and awesome atmosphere for a business lunch.
the food was awesome but it was pretty crowded and loud.
The food was wonderful- delicious and beautifully presented. The service was friendly and competent. It was my first visit, but it won’t be my last.
Fantastic experience for HRW! Even though they were slammed, the service was gracious and not rushed feeling. The menu was outstanding and we will be back for more!
Excellent food, I am Italian and the flavors are like in Italy. Not like the wannabe Italian chains. great attention . Great ambiance!!
Great dim lighting for a Friday dinner with my boyfriend. Food was great, be ready to have an appetite because food was FILLING!
The food was amazing and the service was absolutely great.
Wonderful to dine and good food and ther service.
Great place! We were there for lunch, our server Diego was outstanding! It worth to return just for that reason. The chicken, I ordered from the several course lunch menu, was very dry. Everything else was perfect!
Excellent wine list. The pasta dishes were well done and the cream sauce on lobster ravioli was creamy and delicious. The duck confit and truffle pasta was delicious and the flavors blended well together.
Ambiance was nice with a live pianist.
Lovely restaurant serving Italian style food. Highly recommend. Diego is an exceptional waiter and will take care of you in a friendly but not invasive manner. Ask for him, if possible.
Some people enjoy music whilst dining. Me, not so much. I found the piano player to be too loud for the small space and asked to be situated as far away as possible. Others may find this a big advantage, however.
All in all a great dining experience.
Incredibly delicious food. Had the Restaurant Weeks Menu and it was outstanding. Joaquin, our server, and the pianist/singer made our evening very special
We went for HRW.
Everything was extremely beautifully presented and tasted amazing. The server was very interactive and attentive to our needs. Would definitely be going back to have a taste of the menu.
It was just okay. I had better expectations for the food. It wasn’t anything special
We have been to your restaurant many times and have always had a great experience. Our waiter Giovani is wonderful!
