   my husband and I are impressed with this wonderfully warm restaurant: its authentic, flavoursome italian cuisine, its brief but very well-chosen wine list and the genuinely friendly service have made our first (pre-theatre) visit to Amadora unforgettable. We look forward to going back!

   A really cute tiny restaurant in a lovely part of Richmond. My friend and I tried Amadora with the top table offer (50% off) and were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food and high standard of cooking, to the point we were almost embarrassed when the bill came and amounted to only £23 each for three courses each and wine. I had the seabass and she had the linguini a lan vongole - linguine cooked perfectly al dente and vongole fresh and tasteful, just like my bass. London needs more of these places, with inidvidual style rather than those awful chains. Will go back any day and recommend to anybody.

   We've been to Amadora a number of times, it has never failed to be a lovely evening with great food, good friendly service and an incredibly warm welcome from the owner, who always remembers us no matter how long between visits. Last Friday's meal was no different, tasty starters, delicious mains and desserts. We'll be back!

   A great welcome at Amadora in Richmond with the maitre'd recognising me from a previous visit last year. The restaurant is small but has a lovely, cosy atmosphere. Not a wide ranging menu but good Italian classics done well. Great value with offer.

   Definitely not recommended if you have even slightly restricted mobility - well not if you want to use the bathroom facilities that is, it's fine to eat here. We came for my grandma's 87th birthday, and had a great evening. Loved the Tiramisu! Very personal and attentive staff, though they had to be asked kindly to put the TopTable offer on the booking. May well go back. Cheers!

   We went to Amadora to try it out as a possible Sunday lunch venue. Some may call it cute, we thought it was cramped, and I sat by right next to the door - God help anyone sat there in winter. The food is fine, although the pork was over salted, but there were paper napkins and no table cloths. Two glasses of prosecco came to £17.00. I think if you want to charge these prices you have to at least match the best italian restaurants, this did not. Perhaps they'll go out of business soon, entirely their own fault. Amadora pretends to be something it is not.

   I am busy making excuses to be in Richmond these days. Don't get me wrong: I love the place, & first lived on a houseboat there in the early 80s. These days, it's places such as Amadora that lure me. The quality of the food is so very high. This week's "reason" was a foreign film. We had swordfish - a hefty portion, and superbly cooked. Lovely vegetables - though I think the husband was a bit sad to see the very few saute potatoes/chips! Our mozzarella starter was of the highest quality [a benchmark on all Italian menus]. The welcome is warm - and the choice of music was perfect; you cannot have too much Ella..............

   The restaurant is very quaint and staff very attentive. Food was very good especially the deserts. Great value for money if using 50% deal, otherwise slightly to expensive for what it offers. Only downside was waiter added service charge from original receipt value to my bill without making it clear.

   I had special of the day, pasta and it was really poor, I can cook better my self. My mate had risotto and that was nice. That used to be one of my fav restaurants, but they must have changed the cook or ownership as it doesn't stand to what it used to be.

    After passing Amadora a few time during the day & evening, I couldn't resist it's charms any longer. I went as a party of 4 for lunch & was hugely impressed from start to finish. All 4 of us have eaten in restaurants across Italy and this was on a par with the best of them whether from Siena, Rome, Puglia, Florence..you name it! Delicious food & a great balance of pasta, salads, fish & meat dishes. We ordered from across the menu getting a variety & loved every bite. I usual don't wax lyrical about places but this is worth every bit of praise. The wine list is great & I actually took my own bottle along for a very reasonable corkage fee. Everyone should do themselves a favour & make a trip to Amadora. New favourite London restaurant!
