We were celebrating our anniversary, and our waiter made us feel very special. But I heard him talking to other patrons at other tables, and I think he made them feel very special, too. The cheese fondue was excellent, and my main meal was, too. I recommend the apple cake for dessert. THANK YOU Aspenrose for a wonderful evening.

We were in Vail for the day and it is Octoberfest. We are so happy that we chose Alpenrose for lunch and that there was an open reservation on Opentable. The service was excellent but food was even better. Highly recommend Grandma’s Pasta Carbonara, Chef Salad with grilled chicken was outstanding. for an appetizer we had the potato stuffed with cheese and Bacon. They were awesome.

The ambiance of the patio here is what really shines, as well as the service which was quite good. But the drinks we had were not particularly good (stick to wine and beer), and the food was mediocre, in my opinion. Will skip it the next time we're in Vail, sadly, as it's a very cute place!

Very odd and uncomfortable seating at our table. My husband was on such a high bench that his knees hit the underside of the table. Cheese fondue was just warm cheese in a little heart shaped bowl. It got cold quickly. Mains were not seasoned properly. Service was rushed as well. Pretzel was good. Would not return

We are long time locals and Alpenrose has always been a favorite. Their menu is varied and interesting. I like it Al. We did have a pork schnitzel and it didn’t seem prepared from scratch??? Wait staff is always efficient and friendly

We dined in the back patio which is a delightful spot, despite it starting to rain. Waitress moved us inside when the huge umbrella wasn’t quite enough. Very good service.

Since I remember this restaurant from the 80s, I have been here many times, but not lately. Although the ambience is charming and food is very attractive on the plate, the ham and cheese quiche I ordered was not up to par. The crust was tough and tasteless; I thought it had been prepared several days ahead of time and only got served the day we came for brunch. My husband's potato pancake with melted cheese looked freshly made and he said it was very good.

the food was very good, the size of the plate was perfect for the schweizer rosti, but for the zartes kalbsgulasch, the plate was with more pasta than veal and mushrooms so it was very disappointment.

Quick way to wake up in Austria without taking a flight. Close your eyes and you’ll think your in in Europe. Authentic food and atmosphere. Every bite better the last one. Not to be missed.

Our favorite at Vail! Schnitzel and Rosti as always were delicious. Wait staff friendly. Our food came out so quick we didn't even have our drinks yet! Hot and perfectly cooked schnitzel, gravy silky and buttery lingon berry sauce sweet and full of berries. Rosti with salmon, salmon was fresh and Rosti was crispy and flavorful. Drinks were large and refreshing, Alpen Spritzer and Jaegermister Mule

Best meal we had in Vail during our trip in regards to food, service, atmosphere and experience overall. We ordered the pretzel appetizer with mustard and cheese, schnitzel entree, and the salmon entree with a cocktail and a beer. Visited during the summer and had reservations for outdoor seating. We were seated on the front patio in the shade which was a perfect spot to enjoy the view.

He service was wonderful and the food was delicious. A large group came about twenty minutes after us and had six adults and five very young, loud, rambunctious kids. This took away from the ambiance but we still enjoyed our experience. Highly recommend the pretzel and schnitzel.
