   We loved the service, Sean was great. We went for brunch. Food was good and the drinks too. I would definitely come again. As a Mexican I totally approve this restaurant hahaha :)

   First experience fabulous, so I took two other couples with us for the second time. The first time there was live music which is why we went. There was no music. They got a drink wrong, 3 of us where eating while the other 3 were waiting for their food. One got Enchilada instead of Fajita, they changed it to Fajita. The bill came with the Fajita and Enchilada on it even though they took back the Enchilada. The manager was very cold and didn't seem to care. After 2-3 of us complained he gave us a 10% discount. Horrible experience not going back for sure. Very pricey Mexican Food, nothing to write home about and horrible service.

   It's just not what it should be. 2 orders of enchiladas, guacamole, and a horrible Arnold Palmer. $200.00 is not worth it and they don't have heat indoors so its cold when you go.

   We’ve come to Alma multiple times since it’s grand opening. Unfortunately the menu has changed somewhat since the last time we were here and there were some food items that I was missing from last time. Also, I’ve been here on busier days and always get excellent service, and the only time that I come on a Sunday and it’s not as busy, we didn’t get the great service that we’re used to. They sat us out on the terrace and the gas heaters kept on going out so we were really cold. Drinks/cocktails are still excellent.

   Everything you ask for they charge you even sour cream which came in a tumbler. Extremely pricey and service was a bit slow. Music was nice and vibrant. Food was good.

   Our first time there celebrating my sister’s birthday. The waiter was friendly and nice. The food it self was ok but nothing special. I feel the restaurant was way over priced. The value for the food and service too high. It doesn’t worth what we paid for. I don’t recommend it and I will not dine there again.

    $39.50 for Ck Enchiladas and $20 margaritas. I’ve been to many high end Mexican food restaurants and i’ve never paid this much for basic ck enchiladas.

    We took our granddaughter to lunch upstairs at Alma and were so disappointed. The restaurant is crazy expensive, the portions small and the food not very impressive. The menu is quite small so there isn’t a lot to choose from and our female server was downright rude. She was the worst server we have encountered in a long time. Sarcastic nasty, slow and forgot almost everything we asked for. All in all, this will be our one and only visit there. Perhaps downstairs is better but after the horrendous meal and service we had upstairs, we won’t be going back to either place.

    over priced for the type of food given. Entree was cheaper than appetizer. Drinks were $20 each but just ok. Took a while for drinks to come to table and not large wine selection by the glass.

    The food was incredible, amazing atmosphere, great service and very authentic experience. Really loved the live music. Everything we ordered we loved. Would recommend to anyone.

    Terrible. Made a reservation they didn’t have any tables. Many of us in line waited 30+ min. Eventually the manager said we can go upstairs and the hostess up there informed us there’s no tables because they had 2 parties of 25 people and couldn’t feed us. We sat at the bar after arguing with them and ultimately, completely contrary to what they said, we got food in 10 minutes AND they never came and sat us at a table. Horrific service and truly embarrassing a restaurant can’t handle reservations

    Second time eating at this restaurant, my first time was 100% better than my second and last . Service was terrible, I was a single dinner and I didn’t get serve any chips , the other tables around me they all had it . Is this because I was a single dinner? Or because the server didn’t care , I worked in the industry and every time I eat out , I’m make sure I tip at least 20% of my bill . Hopefully the management work in this issue.

    This morning was awful. From the moment I walked in. We sat and waited quite a while. When we placed our order it became calling the server every 1 minute. Get me sugar, silverware,etc. Also, the restaurant was missing there breads(concha’s) no breads available. Experience was awful. So, this time around it was not worth the money spent. I should have gone to Cheesecake Factory. Disappointing.

    The Hostess has no idea what she’s doing. I made reservations and had to wait 25 minutes! Then she said reservations have to be seated upstairs and I later found out the menu is different from the downstairs menu. In fact it was more costly to be seated upstairs. As a customer, you have a choice and not directed and forced to pay more. The hostess was super disappointing- the person who greets and welcomes you should be definitely more than professional and courteous. Won’t be going back.

    Food as always was very good. Service was ok. Could have been a little better. We could not get our water refilled. Live music was good- just a little loud for conversation. It is a lovely setting. You could be anywhere in the world- you don’t know that you are at the Grove when sitting upstairs.

    I hate leaving a negative review but this place is so aggressively overpriced that I think it’s warranted. The ambience is fantastic. It’s a gorgeous space. That’s where the positives ended on my recent visit. The food is extremely expensive but not very good. Other high end Mexican restaurants like Javier’s can pull off these prices because the food is awesome and the service is efficient. That was not the case here. The service felt half-hearted and not befitting the prices. Food was surprisingly bland for Mexican food. We ordered enchiladas. Very meh. I devour Mexican food but left half of my plate untouched. (Portions are huge which would be a plus if the food was better.) Maybe we ordered the wrong items but everything else seemed to be in the $40-50 range and up. Just too expensive for what you get. We went to dinner and a movie at The Grove and were so bummed we hadn’t gone to Javier’s in Century City instead.

    Love this place! Highly recommend getting a table upstairs if you can during the live music. Weve gone 2x on a Saturday evening and both times there was a band. The drinks are a bit pricey but overall this place is awesome. The shared fajitas are our fav for date night and more than enough food for 2 people
