I’m not usually in the “foodie” camp. To me, most fine dining is overly fussy and overpriced. This was a birthday dinner for my wife, who loves fine dining. We included friends and family (7 people). Allora was both expensive AND worth the money - about$200 a person, which included wine and cocktails. From the professional and prompt greeting at the door by the hostess to the fantastic wait staff headed by Danielle, as well as servers and the somallier, service could not have been better. The food was excellent and creative. Danielle described the menu perfectly without being over “precious.” Small between meal treats were added at no extra cost. I would highly recommend this restaurant for special occasions. Reminded me of Biba’s in its heyday.

By far our favorite restaurant in Sacramento. They make special occasions even more special in how thoughtful they are. It was our first time back in about 15 months, and we were pleasantly surprised that if you choose the 3 course option you can choose from either an appetizer or crudo and either a pasta or entree! We went with the four course, and everything was delicious, and the portions were perfect. We left full but not uncomfortable. Can't wait for our next excuse to go back!

My wife and I have been to Allora three times now and each time has been incredible. The food is always fantastic. I appreciate the attentive service and the restaurant’s ability to accommodate requests for allergies and food preferences.

Every course was amazing, and the service was impeccable, the knowledge all employees had of the menu and each item was perfect. The overall experience was absolutely wonderful, Can't wait to return!!!

This was our second visit and the second was not like the first. Both times the food was excellent. Presented well, creative and the taste was on point. The second visit the service seemed to fall off. The Hostess was great. But after that the service became clunky. We had the wine pairing with our courses. Wine was poured for the first course and after 20 minutes of no food and two glasses of warm wine I explained that we had been sitting for quite sometime. Immediately after that the first course arrived. It was obvious that it had just been sitting somewhere. No offer to freshen our wines, no apologies. It set the tone for the remainder of the evening. Overall all quite disappointing.

The food was very good and the wine pairings were interesting. It was a lovely evening. I’m not entirely sure the value for the price was where it should be. Good for a VERY special occasion.

Overall, the experience was very good. The food was fantastic and the wine selections were strong complements to the dinner dishes. Service was good throughout the dining experience. Noise levels were a little higher than I prefer.

What a treat! We went to Allora for our first wedding anniversary and had the best experience! The service was absolutely amazing and we were treated to a complimentary glass of prosecco and greeted with personalized menus to commemorate our anniversary. We did the 4 course menu with the wine pairing and it was absolutely heavenly! A top meal! Thanks, Allora!
