Alice B. restaurant and bar from award-winning chefs Susan Feniger and Mary Sue Milliken combines Southern California’s incredible seasonal bounty with Mediterranean-leaning flavors. The culinary vision is a collaborative effort between Feniger, Milliken and acclaimed Executive Chef Lance Velasquez.

This unique dining experience is located at Living Out, a luxury resort-style LGBTQ+ active senior community surrounded by spectacular mountain views. Inspired by the extraordinary life of Alice B. Toklas and her life partner Gertrude Stein, the restaurant establishes a vibrant space where culinary excellence, art, and community converge seamlessly.

We offer indoor & outdoor seating, plus bar seating. Join us for dinner starting at 4PM. Join us for live music on select nights.

Mary Sue Milliken & Susan Feniger are the founders of Mundo Hospitality Group, including Border Grill, Pacha Mamas, BBQ Mexicana, SOCALO, and most recently Alice B.

    Horribly loud. Pasta special looked and tasted like it had been made and then reheated with few of the primary ingredients included. As a local and repeat diner, I was disappointed and won't be back

    We have eaten here about six times but this time it was still a winter menu and just didn’t make sense given the weather … no spring menu? The shepherds pie was like soup … the mashed potatoes were simply not existent. The service was great at the beginning (esp as we had to wait as the keys to our car quit working just as they were handed over to the valet) but it seemed like there were a lot of new staff and it was either a lot of attention to none. The duck was ok; the trout was the best dish of the night. We were expecting a lighter menu ….

    Our first visit to Alice B was fabulous. We enjoyed every bite of everything we ordered. Can't wait to go back. The dining room was lively and busy but not too noisy to have a conversation. The space is lovely. Casually elegant might be how to describe it? The cocktails were also very good. I recommend highly.

    Food never fails at Alice B, which is why we’ve been there many times. However, service fell much short this time. Had to request a glass of ice three times, and we asked for a glass of wine middle of dinner but it never came. I think it’s because we sat outside because we know inside is always loud and we need to shout to hear each other during conversations. I was a little surprised the restaurant doesn’t have an outdoor mister for the summer dinning.

    dinner with a friend...two hours of wonderful food and visiting ...could not have been better service, friendliness or dining...a place we always enjoy but often forget!! VERY high on our list now!!!!!!!
