Alcé (pronounced - All-Che’) is the restaurant located inside the 26,000 square foot Clubhouse at Dalton Ranch Golf Club just 8 minutes North of downtown Durango. Alcé is the Italian word for Elk which can be seen from what is no doubt the best patio dining experience in Durango.

We had the Caprese, meatballs and pork. All were wonderful and will be coming back.

Tough night. Wedding and a golf tournament took up most peoples time. The food was basic County club variety and nothing special.

Outstanding view of the mountains, very comfortable seating. Waiter was nice and food was certainly very good. A very relaxing atmosphere that I can only recommend.

Hate the new name!! Has nothing to do with the environment. Menu is okay but a bit pricey. They didn't even look at the comment I made, asking for a specific table. They apologized and gave us desert for free, which I appreciate, but if they're going to use something like OpenTable, they should use it correctly. Thank you.

Rave reviews for Marketing; however, the experience was a disappointment. A full 2-page color ad in the Dining Magazine set my expectations for a fabulous dining experience with visions of live elk roaming around. Alce' is a very nice golf club and the food is very good, but it doesn't qualify for fine dining. Dinner after a round of golf is their purview. Don't go expecting an exceptional evening.

This restaurant is in a golf course clubhouse (think Caddyshack right down to the red slacks). The menu was uninspired and the food, when it finally did arrive, was just “okay.” The service was between indifferent and poor. All in all, it is not worth the drive from Durango.

Quality of food and menu choices are just ok, service /wait staff was good. Considering the price I was expecting a bit more. Just my opinion..... but the management of this place could use a few lessons in honesty and customer service, especially when it comes to the reservation process and specific seating requests. When I made my reservation I was told the outside patio area was fully booked. I was very disappointed to find patio almost empty the entire time we were there having dinner. (inside)

We had a wonderful dinner for two in the main dining room. The weather was inclement so the balcony wasn’t an option. But still the views of the course, mountains and water were stunning. The ahi tuna was cooked to perfection.
