This was our first time dining at Alavita. It was fantastic. The food was great and our server was doing double duty, taking orders and bartending both. He was really good at both. They have gluten free options that are GOOD! We will definitely go back.

As always excellent! Great service, drinks were great- basil foam and wine paired to our meal. Our group of 4 all loved our pasta choices. The calamari appetizer was delicious. Too full for dessert.

This was our 23rd visit to Alavita and though we missed Tina, Morgan took great care of us - never rushed but he kept unintrusive track of us. Calamari perfectly fried, not greasy. Generous Caesar salad, split with anchovies - crisp and fresh. I had King salmon with caponata - perfectly cooked salmon, nice crispy skin. My husband had Cacio e Pepe ravioli in a light lemon butter sauce - very nice. We ended with the budino - always a treat. This place is consistently terrific!

Alavita is now one of our favorite spots to dine in Boise. We snagged a last minute reservation early on Saturday evening, and although we were running a bit late, we were greeted warmly and seated quickly once we arrived. Our waiter was professional and courteous in answering our questions on menu items, and very thoughtfully brought us smaller utensils for our toddlers to eat with. The hostess also brought us little drawing tablets to keep the little ones entertained. The food was excellent from start to finish - loved the baked artichoke hearts and fennel salad as starters, and the rigatoni and tagliatelle were cooked to perfection. The antipasti combo we put together was prosciutto, olives and various cheeses and spreads, and it was also on point. All of the ingredients were fresh, all of the flavors were balanced, and everything was truly delightful. The intimate atmosphere is comfortable yet lively, from date nights to families with young children. We felt comfortable and well taken care of the whole time. Will have to come back to try more items (especially that Budino we were eyeing)!

We had guests visiting from out of town and we wanted them to visit one of our favorite city gems for dining. We had multiple appetizers to start: burrata with bread and chips, grilled artichokes, and fish crudo. They were magnificent. We then chose pastas to have as our main course. We had the ravioli with additional meatballs as well as a pasta with a meat sauce. Both dishes were outstanding. For dessert, we shared the creamy caramel delight that included peanut brittle with chocolate on it. It was amazing and delicious. Our service was spectacular.
