ÀLAVITA is all about fresh pasta and local ingredients—from Agnolotti to Tortellini to Garganelli, Linguini to Pappardelle—created freshly every day using Northwest flour and local eggs. It has been a staple in Boise for so long for this reason! I highly recommend to anyone who wants fine dining in a quaint environment!

                                                                                      Alavita is by far my favorite place to dine in Boise. The food is excellent, and the use of local products where possible is another draw for me. On this visit, the service was off just a tad. Not as friendly as the past, and time from order to delivery of food items was a bit long. I will surely return as we have had many wonderful meals and service, but management should always be aware of slipping from the high standard of quality food and service.

                                                                                      we have been going to Alavita for years and usually love our dinner, but this time was a total disappointment. We ordered a couple appetizers and each had an entree. The only things we enjoyed were the wine IAlbarino) and the calamari. It was our anniversary and needless to say, it was not a great celebration.

                                                                                      Accommodated our early arrival. Server spoke very rapidly in accented English. Had to ask him to slow down. One of our guests actually thought he was speaking g a foreign language. As the restaurant filled up it got very noisy which would have made things worse. Server also seemed unable or unwilling to explain dishes. Food was good.
