I love Alavita. Great food excellent service. Great wine and coctails. Can be dressy or casual.
They have something for every occasion. And appy and drink before a function or late night after a function or make it the main event. LOVE IT.
This is a Boise Gem. The chef is a genius, the staff are outstanding. A must visit restaurant if you visit Boise.
Everything was perfect...loved the eggplant parmasean...service was awesome as always.
Great Tasting Italian food, really good service and relaxing atmosphere.
Alavita was excellent, food was phenomenal and service outstanding. Great for special occasions!
ALAVITA was wonderful. I had my family in town for a little birthday celebration and they loved the food and atmosphere. My husband and I try to get there as much as possible. It is a wonderful restaurant with excellent food and the staff is very attentive.
Our delightful waitress, Sarah, was fun and helpful. Food was delicious and the portions were perfect. Can’t wait to go back!
We shared appetizers salad and main dish plenty of food. Always good. Server was friendly and fun. Manager is great and very accommodating. Totally enjoyed our dinner at Alavita. We will be back soon.
Brought wrong order to us so we had to wait longer. Also dropped a knife on our water glass which broke on the table. The latter was an accident. The wrong orders were not.
They always do a great job. Was there for a business meal with 7 total, they forgot my entree but expedited the service and took it off the bill. Still recommend, great food, great service.
The food was amazing! It was our second time back and it didn’t disappoint. 1st course was the grilled artichoke (perfect for 2), then second course my husband and I ordered the black ravioli with lobster and the gnocchi. Both were insanely delicious. Definitely recommend!!!
Always great service and excellent food!
Not a huge menu but our group of seven all managed to find something they thoroughly enjoyed from pasta, salmon and risotto. The Chef's House Salumeria Board was fantastic to share as was the Crispy Pork Belly. The service was exceptional. Our group contributed to the noise level.
Had the gnocchi with crab. Need a magnifying glass to see if they even put any crab in dish. Waiter was pleasant enough. Also had beet salad. It was just meh! Had better. Not a lot of flavor. Quite frankly food was mediocre at best. Would not return.
Wonderful ambiance, service, food! Really enjoyed our time there! Will go again for sure!
Always a great experience, lively fun atmosphere. We really enjoy the great service provided by Mikaela and team.
Our experience here was fantastic. If you are in Boise, definitely visit Alavita!
The service was excellent and the eggplant parmesan was to die for.
We had pasta and enjoyed every last bite.
Alavita is absolutely my fav restaurant in Boise. The food is incredible, fresh and always original. No other restaurant is quite like any other dining experience. The setting is beautiful, and the service is flawless. Mikaela was our server, and our group of four all agreed that she was our best server yet. She was relaxed, genuine and instantly made us feel at home. She didn't rush us, but served every course with precision timing. She was fantastic. Thank you, Mikaela!
Our server, Bob, was great. Absolutely pleasant to have at the table. Food is always good. - good job kitchen! My only ohh moment was the salumeria board. I remember the house cured meats and pickles. Though still good with the ‘new’ meats I was really looking forward to the pâté. I had talked it up to our guests- it was their first time. Fingers crossed for next time. Always love coming to this Italian joint.
I love this place. It was the place my boyfriend took me on our first date two years ago. We recently took my grandparents here. Their gluten free pasta is the best I have had. A rare indulgence for those with gluten allergies! It was a wonderful night to welcome my grandparents to retirement.
The best restaurant in Boise.
Good!! But not as Good as the hype!!! Service was Great! The place feel over crowded. The seating arrangement made it difficult for conversation. I won't crave this place.
Love this Italian Joint. Great ambience , food and service. Our waitress Mikaela was very knowledgeable about the food and was attentive to our needs. The pork belly was awesome 👏🏻
This place is incredible! Every single thing we had was perfect. Highly recommend.
Dinner was delicious! I had the Campanelle and it was divine. Paired with the recommended Cabernet, it was perfect. First time & we’ll definitely be back!
Fabulous meal, great wine selection (although we advocate for a much bigger selection of Idaho wines) and superb meal - black ravioli and angel hair pasta with prawns - lovely!
We enjoyed Bruschetta prior to meal - great into!
Cannot wait to be back.
Recommend - make a reservation!
Excellent, authentic good and great service. We were not disappointed and will be back.
The ambiance and service were wonderful, however if I’m being honest, the food was disappointing, especially for the price. I had the black ravioli, and it was ok, but the sauce was very thin & the portion small. We shared a Cesar salad, and for a $10 salad, it was meh. The beer & wine selection was great, and perhaps it was an off occurrence.
We always enjoy Alavita and having a birthday dinner there was the right choice. The food is always exceptional, and my dinner exceeded my expectations. The wine selection is great and the staff always makes great recommendations.
Fantastic food and service. Wine list was extensive , good bar selections and cozy seating available. Don't miss this beautiful Italian restaurant. From Appetizer to dessert, art for your palate!
Food was fantastic and the server was great.
The food (black ravioli) was good, not great. The service was fine. I think the issue was that my expectations were really high going in. It was hard to get reservations and I’d heard a lot of good things about the restaurant from other people. I was expecting the best Italian food in Boise and maybe the best food in Boise from all the hype. It was a good meal but I would probably opt for Luciano’s or Vincenzo’s next time I get a rare pasta craving.
Post valentine 2-16 food was great , wine & drinks so good nice night
The food is fresh and pasta made in House. This has become one of our favorite restaurants. Reservations strongly recommended. Table service can be slow, but servers for other tables seem willing to help each other out. We prefer sitting at the bar since table service for drinks can be very slow.
Alavita resembles the BEST of Portland final showing up in Boise
I took my boyfriend to ALAVITA for an early Valentine's Day dinner. He had been before, but I had not. It was amazing! The Idaho Blackberry cocktail was delicious. We had a great appetizer (the fried risotto). My boyfriend had the angel hair dish and I chose the campenelle. Both were delicious! I had the cannolis for dessert and it was a bigger portion than I expected. Our server was friendly and helpful. I can't wait to go back!
