Love this place. The only issue I had this time was that the waiter seemed to rush us. We were finished but this time we weren't even asked if we needed more tea.

Delightful time. The A’a tea is so flavorful as to not need sugar. The sandwiches are well made and perfectly balanced. The desserts each hold their own and together hit all the flavors you’d want over citrus, custard, and chocolate as well as being adorably presented.

We enjoyed our afternoon tea at the Halekulani. The selection of food was delicious and elegant. The room was very small and looked out onto a courtyard which was okay. It would have been nice to have a view of the ocean since the hotel is ocean front. It was a little pricey, but it was a special treat in Hawaii.

Overall, food was underwhelming. Finger sandwiches did not taste good - odd flavor combinations. The sweets looked pretty but tasted bland and had no wow factor. Expectations were high since it was Halekulani, but I had much better food and service experience at Moana Surfrider afternoon tea. Also, the ambience was awful. No hostess to greet us, no music, no view, situated in a small room that lacked the look and feel of "afternoon tea" service. Skip the tea service here and go to Moana.

A stunning view, incredible service and absolutely delectable treats. The sandwiches and pastries were just divine. Beautifully crafted and decorated. Just the perfect traditional afternoon tea experience with an elegant and sophisticated Hawaiian touch.

Absolutely loved this high tea. Beautiful room, gorgeous and tasty food thoughtfully presented, and everything on point; sandwiches, warm scones with currants served with jars of clotted cream, lemon curd and jam. The Halekulani Earl Grey tea was divine!!!!

Perfect for an afternoon with my bestie!! The variety of tea selection was delightful. The scones, crème, lemon curd, and strawberry preserve was delicious! We could have eaten that all day with our delicious tea. I had the Lemon Mamaki. Our server, Ricky, was outstanding too. I'm looking forward to the next time.

Was hoping to sit by the ocean but instead in a room with a view of someone’s wedding going on with the doors open so felt like we needed to not talk. Food was okay - sandwiches were good but desserts were either too sweet or had little flavor. Never got asked if we wanted more tea until we were finished eating and no water was offered. Live here in Oahu so have been to all the other teas offered and probably won’t go back.

The tea and the food were both very good as well as the service, however the ambiance and views are much nicer at the competing hotels. For this reason only I would not book afternoon tea here again.

Even if it’s only once in your lifetime, you should have afternoon tea at the Veranda at Orchids. It’s so peaceful, the tea is delicious, the sweets and savories are yummy, and they serve the best strawberry jam I’ve ever had with their freshly baked scones.

ワイキキの中心にありながら、街の喧騒は聞こえず、鳥の囀りや風の音が聞こえる店内。ゆっくりとお茶を頂く、贅沢な時間が過ごせる。大切な人との会話、大切な人との時間がそこにあると思う。もしかしたら、1人でぼーっとゆっくり過ごす事も良いかもしれない。忙しい毎日から少し離れて、心を癒す事のできる場所だと思う。スタッフの方々の、さりげないサービス、丁寧に作られたセイボリーが大好き。

I love the ambience and would go again simply to enjoy the lovely and tranquil atmosphere. The food I would not rate as high. We had the vegetarian option and I thoroughly enjoyed the sandwiches but would have preferred a different selection of desserts. Also, it would be lovely to have more options of tea as that is the highlight for me. I enjoyed my afternoon tea but a few improvements would take it to the next level.

Love experiencing afternoon tea and the one at Halekulani is one I've been wanting to try for a long time. Made reservations about a month prior. On day of, checked in at Orchids but they walked us over to a room with about 6 tables overlooking the garden. Very quiet and intimate. There was only one waiter servicing the room, and he did a great job. A box with sll the teas are brought over so one can read the descriptions and smell them. We decided on the classic and the celebratory tea services with a pot of Earl Grey and a pot of the Pineapple Coconut Rooibos. A glass of champagne and a plate with 2 strawberries and cream were served first for the celebratory service. The scones and tiers were brought after. The 4 finger sandwiches included a brie with strawberries, smoked salmon, roast beef (?), and curry chicken. Nothing in particular stood out about the sandwiches, except the curry one in which one side was coated with crushed peanuts. I love scones, even more so with Devonshire cream, lemon curd, and strawberry preserves. Hubs enjoyed them as well. As for the desserts, read some reviews in which they noted the desserts had no flavor. I do not agree. The desserts were our favorite part. The mini desserts included a raspberry lemon tart, black sesame swan cream puff (), and a chocolate mousse-like cake (hubs fave). A coconut celebratory cake was also served - probably my fave. Such a light cake and so good with the raspberry sauce. Hubs ordered coffee while we enjoyed our time there. It was a freshly made French press coffee - full flavored and strong. Plenty to share and great way to end our tea service. It was a very enjoyable experience, and I can't wait to return with my daughter.

Person who sat us was great. The main server was not attentive nor in sight most of the time. We ended up asking the friendly person who sat us for more hot water to refill the tea pots. The food was okay but the red and green Christmas themed dessert should have been updated as it was already January 5th. Also we were told there was a 2 hour time limit and had to leave. This experience was not up to the Halekulani high standards that I've always experienced many times in the past. For the price you pay, it's much better to go to the Moana Surfrider for their very nice afternoon tea.
