Adrian's Restaurant and Bar
The latest word in chic, yet casual, family dining, and the latest addition to the Juban’s family of fine restaurants. For over 30 years, Juban’s Creole Restaurant and Caterer has been a beloved component of the Baton Rouge community. More recent additions have been Beausoleil Restaurant and Bar, Christina’s in downtown Baton Rouge, and now Adrian’s Restaurant joins this distinguished lineage.
Adrian’s, secluded beneath an ancient oak tree near the corner of Highland and Old Perkins Rd., offers a unique presentation of dining in a relaxed, casual atmosphere. The vibrant ambiance of the bar exudes southern charm and hospitality. The beautiful comfort of the traditional dining area features private rooms for those special occasions.
We serve lunch, brunch, and dinner and it is the pleasure of our select staff to offer exceptional service; as we take pride in serving the very best in delicious home-style creole cuisine.
Good food and portions. Enough for left overs.
We had a great time and our honey bourbon drinks were delicious as well as my grilled shrimp sensation salad.
The best crab cakes EVER!!! Also, very clean, tables well spaced, staff wore masks and changed their gloves often. It was great to feel normal again!!!
It was a wonderful time
The food is outstanding in flavor. Everything from appetizers to dessert was great. The only downside was the service. The server was friendly but it seemed an eternity between courses.
Although I alerted the restaurant to the fact that it was my mother’s 80th birthday, there was no acknowledgement of that so I would not recommend this place for a special occasion. Our waitress only interacted with us to take our order and to bring us boxes, ask us if we wanted dessert and give us the bill. I had to grab someone else to get a refill of water. Insofar as the food, I got the brisket omelette covered in queso, which did not seem to be well-seasoned so I was able to switch it out for a strawberry and spinach salad with blackened chicken which was good. My mother and sister enjoyed their meals: the catfish platter and the chicken and sausage gumbo.
Overall, the food was good (except for the brisket omelette), but the service was subpar.
Good food and attentive waitstaff. Had drinks and chargrilled oysters in the bar with friends. Oysters were very good. Noise level was high. Moved to dinner in the main restaurant section where it was much more quiet. Fish of the day was quite good and the fried oyster platter was very generous and quite tasty, especially the onion rings. Had their trademark Hallelujah wine which was very good but seemed overpriced. Overall a very good experience and highly recommended.
The food was excellent and a wide variety of choices. Service was attentive but not intrusive. The only comment I have is that the food was served on the cool side and could have been warmer. The restaurant is large and has many seating sections.
Adrian's food and atmosphere never disappoints. Good food, good prices and good service.
Dinner on this night was similar to other meals that I have had at Adrian’s, were I would rate the food as good or “Ok”. What did make a difference for my party on this evening was the obvious effort by the Manager, Michael to improve the overall dining experience. Michael explained changes in the menu and his goals for making his restaurant more appealing to those seeking a nice casual dining experience. Our waiter was also very professional and attentive without being bothersome. The staff’s approach to customer satisfaction made this an overall very good and enjoyable dinner.
I love the relaxed feel of this place. The crawfish queso was very good. Seafood was very fresh! We’ll definitely be returning!
Food and service was very good! Music was a little loud!
Very good for Valentine’s Day. Food good and service excellent. Second time and both experiences were great.
3 items requested from the menu were not available. The food was not great. I was supposed to have a soft shell crab and my dish arrived with a half of a crab and it was cold. Not impressed at all.
From the hostess to our waiter no one was very friendly —like they didn’t want to be there. The time between our waiters appearance at the table were lengthy. We asked for more chips for our dip but never got them and it took him so long to come back that we decided we better order our food —we also learned to order our drinks before we were done with them since again there was that long time between visits. The food overall was good but the portions were Much SMALLER than the last time we ate there. The shrimp and grits was comparable to an appetizer not an entree that was 18.00 for brunch. The Chicken Piccata was just a fried piece of chicken with capers on top along with an egg—no sauce on it as described
Fabulous service and delicious crawfish. Will definitely be back!
Visit for restaurant week. Food was great!
We had a great time and the brunch with endless mimosas was also great.
We had dinner with friends and had a great time. We had great service and amazing food (spaghetti and meatballs is our favorite there). We even were allowed to stay and catch up for a long time after and our waitress continued filling up our water (well after check was paid).
Was great as always. Brunch always good here
Great food and great service
Overall a good experience, been there before and will go back again. Its not exactly fine dining, but it beats the heck out of a restaurant chain and I've never been dissapointed
Service was slow. Water was filled only once. Drinks took up to 15 min to receive although restaurant was quarter full.
Okra in seafood gumbo was extremely slimy. Most laughable moment was when we ordered a 1/2 dozen raw oysters and only 5 came out. This is indicative of what appeared to be a lack of attention to detail and overall quality control. The waiter offered to bring out an additional oyster so I am thankful for that but that is not really the point. A Juban’s restaurant but a far cry from Juban’s on Perkins.
It is a very beautiful and open spaced restaurant. Service was very good and was the food. Good deal on the bottomless mimosa. Since it was the holiday, there was a visiting Santa for the kids...they loved that.
Great service and great food! Love the $1 oysters on wednesday!
Wonderful experience. Food was amazing!
Was average. I expected more upscale as the area leans toward but severs inattentive. Brunch entrees disappointing and refills had to be asked for far between beverages for all you can have. Took our mom there for a treat, I limp and I’m very short and she’s 85-they put us at a high top and we were too embarrassed to ask for a low table even though there were only 3 tables used total on our side. My sis had to help the two of us up into the chairs. Wished for much more.
Went there on a Sunday afternoon. Food was great as usual. Service was slow despite not being busy and the waiter got some of the order wrong. Waiter would disappear for long stretches of time.
Appetizers were great. Main course was so-so.
My parents were in town for an LSU game and have never eaten here. Food was very good, however the service was poor. We waited a significant time for our food and beverages. Manager was making his rounds and apologizing for the delay. It seems the entire restaurant was very slow this evening.
The food and service was outstanding! This place is becoming our favorite restaurant.
The food was just okay and came out like warm. One guest did not get their food for 20 after Everyone else.
Food was wonderful, noise level perfect, waiter very good and attentive
Overall, my steak was good for the price but I missed that the chef’s vegetable was Brussel Sprouts. I don’t know many people who like them! The manager did bring us some steamed broccoli which was very good. The chocolate brownie was amazing! I’ve been to Adrian’s several times. I like the location which keeps me from having to go into town, and it’s an easy on and off interstate.
Good food and service with a nice atmosphere.
Everything was great, couple things a little over cooked and could go a little easy on the red onions on everything.
Good stuff. Always a great experience
Hunter was a great waiter. Food was delicious.
The waitress was not very attentive and the restaurant didn't appear to be that busy. When we presented her with a discount, she said she would go see if her manager would approve it. She never told us outcome so we are not sure the discount was applied because when she brought the bill it was not the itemized one. We had to ask for desert, she did not offer. Overall, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was pretty good too.
We stop here for unplanned dinner out or special occasions. Always a good meal and great service!
