Relatively straightforward Mexican food done to a high standard.
Everything went as scheduled the staff and the food was excellent
Good food, sporadic service, reasonable prices but loud environment. It is hard to hear each other across the table.
I made a reservation about 3 weeks in advance, indicating that in addition to Thanksgiving, we were also celebrating our anniversary with our 1 y.o. They seated us near the entrance and the patio door which kept blowing open by the wind. I notified 3 employees before someone finally fixed it. The restaurant wasn't busy yet we barely saw our waiter. Cocktails were watered down. He didn't ask if we wanted a second round, or coffee with dessert and brought the check w/o asking if we needed anything else. Disappointing since it was by no means busy. The live band sounded nice, unfortunately we couldn't see them from our table. While the food was good, I can't recommend this place because this Mexican food was overpriced for the quality of service we received.
Good food, and great service! A little loud, but only because it was packed with folks enjoying dinner.
Mediocre food for a Waldorf property. My meal was cold. Hardly Mexican food but tailored to resort food.
Service staff was excellent. Fun, pleasant, quick and efficient. Fish was excellent & tamale/enchilada dinner. Eva was our waitress and she was excellent!!!
great place for dinner great ambience we go there a lot and take our friends they all like it
Great Cadillac margaritas.
The blackened red snapper was the hit of the table
We love the restaurant. Setting is gorgeous and the food is delicious. Service is always wonderful. We always go every time we are in the desert.
The dining room is very loud, and made it hard to have a conversation with our friends. The food was ok, but seemed way over priced for what we ate. I will not go back, but if I did I would sit in the patio. It seemed quieter.
Yummy! Great restaurant at La Quinta resort! Would definitely eat here again!
We always love the ambiance, food, etc of Adobe Grill!
Have been there several times, menu has improved dramatically and service level has improved as well. The resort has worked very hard to step up their game and it shows.
Really enjoyed the food, excellent Margaritas too
I had the Mole in Chicken was Delicious!! I do recommend this place
Our server was great once one was assigned to our table. Guac was fabulous, food was ok
A very relaxed environment, great for eating outside with the mountain views.
Slow service although the waitress was very nice.
Food was ok. Restaurant was noisy.
Not great value for money
Beautiful atmosphere surrounded by the La Quinta resort. Friendly staff. Drinks and food a bit overpriced but it was delicious. Cadillac margherita one of the best I have had. The presentation of food was marvelous and food even better.
Friday night had a lot of people at the resort and there were multiple outdoor events going on. The ambience was amazing with all of the lights, music and activity. Adobe had a great view of it from the outdoor patio. The restaurant looks great too, but not sure how it would be if not full.
We have enjoyed Adobe Grill on many occasions for years. Unfortunately this wasn’t up to par on this evening. We had a reservation but were seated inside, all the way in the back. The noise level was terrible. The Original margarita wasn’t very good. We witnessed another diner sending hers back, although we didn’t. Our food was delivered cold and unattractive. Our sever was the only thing we could compliment. To add to the ambiance, we were seated next a woman who was fully exposed nursing her 18-24 month old child. She made no attempt to shield herself from public view. As she switched from one breast to another numerous times throughout the meal. I don’t hold the restaurant responsible for this, and nor did I complain. This is coming from a woman who nursed both her children, but respected others viewing options.
It’s been a few years since our last visit to the Adobe Grill. We had a couple less than stellar meals and with so many other choices, moved on.
The setting is a big draw so with some out of town guests in tow, we gave it another shot.
We were very impressed with the experience.
Food was super good, management and staff excited to serve you. All in all, a wonderful time is to be had at the Adobe Grill.
Not sure if it was due to their recent re-opening or not but the food was just fair. There were 6 of us and only 1 person actually enjoyed their food (combination plate with tamale and enchilada) - the rest felt the food was pretty mediocre. The starter of chips (which were warm) and salsa (which was delicious) were best part of the meal! Sorry, Adobe! Waiter had a sense of humor and was attentive for the most part.
This was a fantastic experience for me! The waitress Maria was amazing as well as her supporting staff. The food was beyond delicious. The location and ambiance was so breathtaking.
Over priced for food. Table side guacamole was a sad attempt
It was out honeymoon dinner and we sat on the balcony. Very nice experience. We will be going back.
We ordered one all shrimp fajitas and one chicken fajitas dinner with one chiles wueros appetizer and table side guacamole. Everything was fine except the horribly dry, overcooked chicken AND they forgot it was my girlfriend’s birthday. I mentioned her birthday when I made the reservation and told the hostess when we arrived for dinner..........Disappointing & Unacceptable!!
Food quality and portions are evident, but just something missing. Got the queso appetizer, real cheese is hard to get melts like velveeta, but it’s definitely not a must try. Service was good. Ultimately, good place for ambience and parties, otherwise the flavors don’t justify the cost.
We had a large party of 13. We had originally booked for 12 one other person join us a few days prior. I called the restaurant to update the count but when we got there they had only set up for 12 but they immediately put another table so we be comfortable. They assigned us two servers and they were both friendly and tentative. Everyone liked the food. The only negative was the pitcher margaritas it was average.
The food and service was spot on!! I ordered the pork as it’s always a favorite to order at a high end restaurant and they did not disappoint
The restaurant was extreme noisy. Service was average and food quality average.
Food was delicious! And great ambiance. They had a live band as well.
The Adobe Grill used to be such a great, classic La Quinta spot. I'm sorry.....it's just not good anymore :(
Sat outside with music. Good food and drinks. Excellent service
It was fun and the food was great! We sat on the patio which was fine since it was in the evening. When we were inside it was extremely loud and hard to hear the person I was with when trying to talk. We were in there only while being waited to be seated. The tacos were great!
Always love the Adobe Grill. Great food. Wonderful drinks. Sitting outside is perfect since the interior can get . a bit loud with tile floors and families.
Food is very good although the menu is limited for a Mexican restaurant. Service is friendly and just right. Margaritas are a bit expensive but good. Can be noisy due to all the families and kids
Our server, Victor, was wonderful - as was the guacamole he prepared tableside. He arranged a special vegan dish for me.
