   Very probably the best Italian in town. Good ingredients, great cooking not salty (like most others), not fat

   The layout of the restaurant is strange and we felt it lacked ambience. The service was slow and when our dinner was served it did not arrive at the same time. Whilst the food was nice I would not recommend this restaurant.

   The restaurant is small but nice. The crew is awesome. They are knowledgeable and interesting. The view is just OK. You need to go early to see the view. The food was OK. Octopus and lasagna were perfect but the rest was just OK. Too experimental for my taste and too flat. They give you a bottle of their own wine at the end (don't get excited, it is around $5) but it is a nice touch. The chef and his beautiful wife are both from Siena-Tuscany region and they are very kind. It was a nice dining experience if we don't count the taste.

   Amazing experience. I am Italian and I can definitely say that this is one of the very few 100% authentic Italian restaurants in the area. The food is delicious and the location is perfect.

   The latest incarnation of a restaurant at this location beats out the past choices! 1. fresh ingredients, home made pastas, organic, etc. 2. fairly priced 3. nice wine selection and fairly priced 4. our waiter was attentive and engaging even though we were a bit of a pain (he never made us feel like we asked for too much!)

   Enjoyed the view, meal & service! Carpaccio and calamari for appetizers. Our children split a salmon dish. I had the seabass special. My husband had veal. Great dinner. Would visit again.

   Service was terrible, food was average, view was good but not worth the experience! They have an old world Italian idea of how to do business and it does not work in La Jolla.

    Delicious lunch with a gorgeous ocean view, the Bolognese sauce was amazing. Exceptional service. No children's menu, but the chef was happy to create a small basic portion off of the main menu for the littles. Prices were on the high end, especially for wine. Would recommend this restaurant for social occasions and adult dining.
