Excellent service and the food is always top of the line! Great place!
great atmosphere, great food, and they handle large groups well
It was really good, everything came out incredibly fast. Super cute inside, we want to go back when it is warm enough to enjoy the wine slushee on the patio :)
Great food! Loved the spaghetti
Great birthday experience! We had a huge group and everything was perfect
Love Acova!! It's one of our neighborhood favorites! Has great food, is super kid friendly with an awesome outdoor play area. Happy hour every day of the week.
French toast not hot in the middle. Service very slow overall. Food was tasty though.
Really cute place- great food
My husband and I tried Acova last Friday for dinner - the reviews looked great and we hadn't tried it despite living in the neighborhood. I really liked the ambience - unlike many other west Denver restaurants, Acova was spacious and the noise volume was reasonable. I'm leaving only 3 stars because the food left QUITE a bit to be desired. We ordered the ahi tuna polenta appetizers and it was obvious the fish was several days old. Similarly, I ordered the lobster mac and cheese and the lobster was chewy and extremely fishy, so also far from fresh (i.e. it did not arrive in Denver recently). My husband ordered the fried chicken, and it really was not fried chicken. It was a somewhat breaded chicken breast we could have made at home, with a bland sauce. If you're a fried chicken fan you would be grossly disappointed. Despite all this, we would return in case we just ordered terribly. I'd be willing to try something else - every other table ordered the nachos which looked good...
Food offerings and quality were superb! A definite neighborhood gem.
Our first time and we went for the Denver Restaurant Week to check it out. The service was not great, but menu was appealing. Their options for Restaurant Week included one appetizer, one entrée, and one dessert off the regular menu with the exception of a couple items. Ultimately, it wound up as the same amount of money, if not more, by choosing items off the menu that way. In the end, ordered one appetizer as it was filling all by itself. Loved the vibe, but wish we had gone when it wasn't in the middle of a snow storm.
Really enjoyed the ahí tuna and chicken wings appetizers. The lobster Mac and cheese was tasty, but a little heavy. The honey stung chicken was delicious. The berry cobbler and bread pudding were soooooooo good!
Portion sizes got much smaller. Other than that, everything was great
Went for restaurant week, food was great and reservation went smoothly! First time there, and it went very well.
Great food, cool atmosphere, and great service! Went for Denver Restaurant Week & will be back.
Very very pleasantly surprised. The drinks were very reasonable priced, along with the food, and everything tasted great. I’ve been dying to try this place, and I’m so glad I did! I think it might be my new go to dinner spot.
Restaurant week 😊
We checked Acova out for Denver restaurant week, excellent food, generous servings and great service. We will go back
This was my first time at Acova. I met with a friend for restaurant week, and we were not disappointed! The food was amazing and service was great. Looking forward to my 2nd visit.
Went for restaurant week. Tons of options. The food was great and was timed perfectly between courses. Friendly staff. Not too noisy. Only complaint was that the food was very hot (temperature-wise, not spice-wise) so we had to wait a bit before eating. Better than being cold! We will definitely go back again.
Excellent food & drinks. Great service. Brunch & Happy Hour are awesome! Very hip ambiance!
Acova is a great place to take people with different eating restrictions. They had gluten free, vegan, and/or vegetarian options for most of the entrees. The food was incredible, service amazing, atmosphere excellent, and I could keep going on. I had the affogato for dessert and it was the BEST dessert I've had maybe ever. We will definitely be back soon.
Great Service!!! Excellent Food 😊
Great food and service!
I absolutely love this restaurant. I cannot rave enough about the gluten free options and how freaking delicious every single thing is!!
The food was delicious! Great gf selection. There was a small service issue at the start of our experience but the server and manager quickly stepped in and made it right. We will be going back for sure.
Food was marginal. Cod was super salty. The french fries were like potato sticks. Short ribs were good as well. Drinks were good.
Awesome place, had a great meal. Excellent service
Overall great ambiance, lively & great lighting, opt for a table in the bar...however do not get the Ahi appetizer, maybe the worst Ahi I've had, bland, overcooked Ahi, boring dish!
Excellent all around! I’ll be back soon and highly recommend it. The cod was excellent and the wine that was recommended was superb.
Our server was marvelous and the food delicious. We had the Lobster Mac and Cheese, the Cod and also the Mussel app. Our server who also may have been a manager, was a delight.
We adore this place! Eclectic menu items with an abundance of gluten free options. All of the staff that opened this place almost a year ago are still there. Always a friendly and attentive experience.
Enjoyed a lovely dinner before going to the Bug Theatre, great happy hour!
This is a great spot. Food is really good. Have neen multiple times for lunch and HH. The wine slushies are good too 🥂
Not the best asked for some bread to munch on as we waited and server brought over 3 cold slices of untested sourdough on a plate. No butter or oil an vinegar or any other condiment. Then charged ac6 bucks for it!
Great place, awesome staff, even better food. Only drawback was there was a strong ‘fishy smell’ when we walked in the doors that almost turned us to leave. If they get better ventilation - this place would be a new fav of ours.
Three of us had the fish and chips. Plenty of Cod and the sweet potato fries were excellent. We will return.
A fun night of drinks and sharing snacks! Started with cocktails, wine slushies, beer cheese dip and wings-all were delicious. Then we shared salads, excellent gnocchi, deviled eggs, and fried chicken. Desserts were tasty, not amazing, but we did enjoy bread pudding and apple “donuts”. Staff was very attentive and sweet. We will definitely return!
Usually the food is good but today we had 3 of us order the chicken and it was over cooked and I even ordered extra gravy but I still couldn’t make it better. Very disappointing. This was my favorite celiac restaurant.
