Awesome brunch on a rainy sunday. Staff and food were excellant.
The brunch menu is mundane, with little more than typical items and rather small portions. Such a fine restaurant could do better. Maybe in the summer when they open up the outdoor areas it improves. The dinner menu looks a lot more sophisticated, and I would like to try that. Prices are not for the timid. Bar service is excellent, and the physical layout is beautiful, but the meal was disappointing. Café complete is $29. At least it is very good coffee.
Service was on point. Normally we do dinners here so it was our 1st time to try out the lunch menu.

The food and service are quite good, the room however is cold and boring, the furniture not particularly comfortable and the lighting is bad.
One of my new favorite restaurants! This restaurant was a perfect 5. Beautiful location, the service was outstanding and very friendly, and above all every course was phenomenal! Will be coming back again and again to explore their menu.

This visit we had the fried sweetbreads, monkfish, sonoma lamb loin and merguez sausage, brussel sprouts gratin, and brulee banana spice cake with ice cream. Everything was delicious. There was also an amuse bouche of mini falafels; the bread came to the table warm which is always a great start to a meal.
There were many small groups which contributed to the noise level of the restaurant.

Great meal but one of our guests had the duck on pasta. The pasta was beyond al dente- more like risking a tooth !
Meal sent back but another one didn’t come back. They comped our corkage fees but would have preferred the meal.

Food was good. Host was MIA when we were seated. Finally were seated by someone else. My guest ordered a drink, then I did, then they asked him what he wanted. Bizarre. Then the next guy didn't understand still or sparkling water. We were given the wrong bill. Food was good, company excellent but service was a miss.
We enjoyed a delicious holiday lunch here. Our meals were at once tasty and simple. Familiar food with great flavor. The cocktails and wine list are standout.
Very good but not up to other restaurants in the Napa Valley. If you can do it I would get a table in the old house which is the bar. The restaurant is an add-on to the house and feels like a fancy coffee shop.
Great service. Food was very good. Excellent duck omelet, burger and fried chicken sandwich. Avocado toast needs a better bread. Margaritas (we ordered them spicy) were fabulous. The service was personable and took care of every detail. Our second time dining at Acacia House and will definitely dine here again. I would strong recommend.
My wife and I booked a table for Valentine day lunch we were really looking forward to having lunch there for the first time since we are local and drive by often we were seated in a room with another couple we were disappointed to see there was not a sign of anything red possibly a flower at our table not a balloon in sight it gets worse from here we placed our order with what seemed like kitchen staff that had no clue what was going on we placed our order our wine arrived and my wife's glass was a very short pour we had to point this out to our surprise the server said he will bring the rest of the wine when the new bottle was opened when he came back the bottle was over half empty we were not even sure if it was the same wine then our food came out my wife had the chicken served with a butter knife and under cooked I had the burger for 19.00 a notch above 5 guys the whole experience was a total disappointment we are locals that want to support local businesses considering the price of ther food and implied service the management is falling short of aspiring to one star service.

The food and service were SPECTACULAR!!! The rigatoni was perfect and the risotto was fabulous.
The restaurant is beautiful and we were greeted promptly. Overall the service was good: prompt, friendly and professional. The bread service was delicious. But overall we were not thrilled with the food.
The lettuce on our salad was slightly brown but flavor good. The squash soup was average but presentation was pretty. The scallops didn’t have a lot of flavor and the steak Was undercooked and lacked flavor.
We had heard some many wonderful things from others so we would actually come back for another visit in the future.

It's worthwhile trying. It's a surprisingly nice setting and dining room, with ample outdoors seating in good weather. We went for lunch during Restaurant Week for our first ever visit, even though we're local. The dining room was not particularly crowded. Still, the food was good, but not very good or excellent. The tomato soup was the exception. That was excellent. The duck was dry and uninspiring. The dessert was about the same. One other plus: the wine pairing was very good and fairly-priced.
Been here many of times love it will continue to come back.
Beautiful ambiance in a renovated Victorian mansion with tasteful modern decor. Excellent wine. Food was good but not mind blowing. Service was not great. Orders were forgotten multiple times, we waited a full hour after placing our order to receive our mains, never got side dish, and at the end there was an issue with the bill, can we rerun your card, stand around waiting while we do it. I’m sure this was an off day, but we felt quite forgotten, and we didn’t get a discount for receiving less than 100% service. Like always we tipped a full 20%. All in all, a “just OK” experience.
We went to Acacia House for lunch. It was in a beautiful old house on the Main Street. All the staff were very friendly. They had valet parking, which was helpful. The lunch was a prix fixe for Napa Valley restaurant week. We had a creamy tomato soup, duck confit and a chocolate pudding. We would come back here again.
This restaurant is wonderful! You must try their margarita! Fantastic.
I went to Acacia House for lunch during the January 2020 restaurant week and it was phenomenal. The tomato bisque was a perfect blend of creamy parmigiana cheese and fresh tomatoes and there was a touch of olive oil. The duck confit on frisée was delicious. The duck was cooked PERFECTLY and the frisée salad with lardo and radishes was a very large portion so I was unable to eat the dessert which was a chocolate pudding .... I ended up taking it to go because you know, it’s just chocolate pudding right?? Wrong! The chocolate pudding was more of a chocolate ganache and it was amazing! If you like chocolate with salt that’s creamy a decadent you will definitely not be disappointed by the dessert. Every dish I had was excellent. I can’t wait to return to follow up on the consistency of the food here .... I might make it one of my staples or go too places for excellent food in Napa Valley.

This is not the first time we have enjoyed Acacia House. This time we went for Restaurant Week and the meal and service were outstanding. The opening salad was crisp and delicious. The short rib main was so tender you did not need a fork. The meal finished with a crazy good cheesecake. Our server, Colin, was attentive without interrupting our meal. We highly recommend Acacia House for an outstanding meal and service.

Acacia House is a beautiful restaurant. The kind of place you wish your house looked like. It was sophisticated yet inviting. Absolutely loved the ambiance. Service was very good. The waiter was friendly and helpful and added to our experience. Have to say that as a diner with dairy intolerant it’s a treat when the staff does little extras like bringing a dish of olive oil with the bread (unasked). So thoughtful. Several of us had the baby lettuce and the dressing was fantastic; smoky and complex. We had halibut (out of black cod sadly), lamb, piri piri chicken and pork schnitzel. Everyone was very happy with their choices except me. I had the pork. I had read in a review that the schnitzel was Iberico pork and I am a huge schnitzel fan so I was expecting a really flavorful pork. Unfortunately the pork was pretty bland - note, I didn’t have sauce (too much dairy) but great pork needs no sauce. In hindsight, if it had been iberico, the menu would certainly have specified and it didn’t so I guess it was just regular but for that price I expected better (even with caviar- which I thought was tasty on its own but lost in the dish). Overall, it was a lovely evening and a good meal and would recommend it
Overall, dinner was very enjoyable. There was a large table of 6 to 8 adults and and equivalent number of children That lead to more noise than would typically be there.

The food was incredible. I had the Sonoma Lamb which was as a soft and smooth as butter. The service was exceptional and the chef prepared a couple of complimentary dishes for us, as well. We were pleasantly surprised by this wonderful dining experience and will be back as soon as possible. We highly recommend this as the place to dine in Napa valley.
Had never been to the Acacia House before and was celebrating my daughters 40th birthday. Staff was so helpful with letting us decorate our table with a birthday theme. Our server was exceptional dealing with our celebration craziness. The food was served to all of us at once, fresh and still hot.... The gentleman who took our coats and hid our gifts for us was very kind and so helpful... I look forward to returning in warmer weather, want to sit out on their porch for brunch.. Thanks to all of you at the Acacia House for making our celebration memorable..
Well, I thought that there was no way this could happen. We have dined here several times and it was so pleasant that we chose this place for Christmas Lunch. Not the choice we will make again, for sure. There were no menus in supplement for the holiday, there was only the bar menu and lunch menu. The Tomato soup was great. But the burger was a catastrophe and the avocado toast... really? The burger is 2@4 oz patties (aka McDonalds) and they are only served MW and do not take temps. (Because they are wafer thin and there is no context for any other temp). The bun was from well into the early week. The dish was tepid all the way through. I could not get through half of it. The fries were fine. The Avo toast was thinly spread, had no salt or seasoning to speak of and thinly made. There was no workmanship in any of this. What is going on? I asked if there had been culinary changes and was told no. Really? Did your food cost budget get slashed? This was the hardest let down, I mean Christmas day? I don't think that we will return. There are way too many choices for cuisine in this area. If management is listening, your are in the deep weeds, people.

The food was very bad—food in Napa Valley should not be this bad. The horseradish mashed potatoes in particular was laughable.
This was the best food we had in Napa. Ate in Michelin restaurants that did not compare. I still, 6 months later, salivate thinking about the salmon tartare. So friendly, unpretentious yet competent, attentive service. Unexpected delightful find. Can’t wait to return .
At there the night before Christmas Eve, St. Helena was cold and very slow. Our first time at Acacia, a half-mile north of St. Helena town center, was a revelation. Housed in an enormous, more than 100-year-old mansion, the trees and building were lit up beautifully. A stunning building and entrance through the bar area. Friends had told me the chef has a superb reputation, and nothing disappointed. The service was great, the building is gorgeous, the food was wonderful. I had the black cod - and asked to change the beans for veggies - and was told "the chef loves to accomdate." The maitre d/manager came by several times to see that everything was to our liking, and our waitress Karen was beyond charming. We're already sending photos and telling friends about our new Napa Valley find. It's a little bit pricey, but you get what you pay for her, and perhaps even a big more. Loved it.
