   We have been to About Thyme on many occasions. This was our anniversary. My meal was terrific -- beautiful veal chop. My partner chose filet mignon -- it was rather tasteless -- done appropriately med rare, but lacked flavour. But, he'll stick to fish in the future! And we'll be back.

   The service was fantastic and my main was absolutely delicious: I don't think the desert was worth the money but overall, we had a very lovely evening there. FYI: A dinner service of main, dessert and apple juice cost me £32

   Such a pretty, welcoming restaurant with good food and exceptional, friendly service. We will definitely be back.

   Read some favourable reviews of this restaurant so decided to try it. Really friendly, warm atmosphere and excellent food. Would definitely go again.

   Can't beat the great service (maitre d is a love) and the waiters are terrific. The food is mostly excellent -- the octopus I ordered was a tad overdone, but other than that, everything was wonderful. We've been before and will go again and again.

   About Thyme never fails top deliver good food at reasonable prices with friendly and efficient service. This occasion was no exception.and we all enjoyed another excellent lunch in a convivial atmosphere.

   As a semi-regular visitor to About Thyme in London SW1, I have never been disappointed by the quality of the food, but I think that, on this most recent visit, it was better than ever. And the service, never poor, was also sharper. Like Arnie, I'll be back.

   Intimate atmosphere with outstanding service and exceptionally good food! Reasonable price for food and wine list. Highly recommend. We will return.

   Had a great time at About Thyme, really nice bistro, good service, great food, good portion sizes. Very enjoyable would definitely recommend!!

    Have visited About Thyme on a number of occasions, and the food is always well cooked and presented. Service, is swift (good for lunchtimes too), attentive but not obtrusive. The set price meal is pretty good value for food of that standard in central London - the sea bass is a favourite and always perfect. We visited early evening when it was still a bit quiet, and the layout of the restaurant downstairs doesn't necessarily make for great ambience (upstairs is better), but I'm probably quibbling. Dessert menu could be a little wider - I wasn't tempted! In my view wine by the glass is on the pricey side for 175ml in a bistro of this type, and I'd welcome more restaurants doing 50cl carafes of a decent house wine.
