Service here was outstanding! Our waiter, Christopher was on top of his game, friendly and funny. Thoroughly enjoyed him. We had the brussel sprouts appetizer and it was absolutely delicious. The spinach salad was good, as was the grilled romaine salad. The caesar was just okay. I had the swordfish for my main and it was just okay, although my friends had the halibut special and they really enjoyed it. The ambiance here was cozy and warm. I will definitely try it again sometime and try a different entree.
We hadn't been to Abbot's in a while even though our experience was exceptional!
Finally getting back.... additional menu items, same warm ambience, wonderful service, and delicious , exciting dishes.
A lovely evening!
A nice celebration spot close to home. We love the ambiance and food!
Made a reservation for 2 @ 6:30 PM on a Saturday. We arrived at 6 PM and they gave us a table without any issue. Wonderful prompt service. We were given water immediately and the waitress took our drink orders. Five minutes later we had our cocktails and a hot small loaf of bread. Our appetizer arrived 10 minutes later. We ordered one entree of halibut to share and the charge is $4 to split a dinner. The charge is worth it because we each got what I thought were medium size portions. Just enough to fill us up and not be too full. The food was delicious. The atmosphere was quiet so it was easy to have a conversation.
Valentine’s Day dinner
Abbott's was a wonderful experience for not only the culinary experience, but for the ambience and service. My partner and I dined there for Valentines day, and even then, the atmosphere was uncrowded, unhurried and a very pleasant conversation level. From the Coquilles Saint Jacques scallop appetizer to the Prawns Amore and Black Cod Oscar entrees, every bite was rich in ingredients and flavors, well plated and presented. The staff were all friendly, professional and polite and worked together to turn things over. Our waiter, Christopher, was very professional yet cordial and was never in a rush because of a busy crowd. The restaurant had a very low keyed atmosphere and did not try to pack the place for turnover and is great for a nice quiet intimate dinner.
At first we were a little apprehensive of going to this restaurant, being our first visit, but as it turns out, we had one of our best dining experiences at Abbott's. A gem in Everett, a long arduous drive into Seattle is no longer necessary for fine dining. It is a 'smart casual" dress code. The only negative reviews I read were of the prices, so if that is a concern, a different restaurant may be more in line. For us, however, the caliber of food, atmosphere and service made this a very worth while treat. One that will be repeated to try the Bacchus Stuffed Chicken.
The food and service was a 5+ stars. Very clean and small and cozy. We will be back again. The prices are a little high but for fine dinning not bad at all. *
The food was delicious and superb service.
Had good expectations given the reviews for this restaurant. I found the food to be just a tad above average, so doesn’t really warrant the prices.
However, the service and staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.
Great food and bar. A little tight with table arrangement and bar.
Only complaints: the room was cold and the server was a bit too chatty
Great food and great service! We were seated in the back room which felt cozy and was quieter than the front room/bar area. We are glad to know of another nice place for dinner in Everett!
The food, service, and staff were very good. The silverware served with dessert was chilled which we both thought was a little strange. Parking is not convenient.
We went to Abbott's because it was my birthday. I wouldn't go back just due to the prices. Way over priced.
Table of 8 and was served perfectly. No hitches or slow down. Was amazing food. Love this little gem of Everett!! Duane was amazing and made every effort to make us feel welcomed and comfortable. Great staff!!
I was seated promptly in the front portion, near the bar. I found the ambiance romantic, similar to a traditional steakhouse, but quiet. The real white tablecloths give it a touch of class.
Service was very good. There were several specials verbally described in detail. When I wasn't ready to place my food order the server returned at an appropriate time. Questions were answered without hesitation.
There was a nice veriety of meat and seafood entrees. Some are pricy, but they include a starch and vegetables. The spinach salad I had was good but overpriced for a starter. The New York steak and sides I had were very tasty. I would have preferred the steak was cooked a little more, but not enough to send it back, even though they offered. The wines were reasonably priced by the glass.
Overall it was a pleasant fine dining experience that I would recommend to for a special night out.
Always love going here. Excellent dining without having to go to Seattle or Eastside at a better price.
Filet mignon was amazing!
Everything was great except it was cold temp wise in the building which made it not as enjoyable. Food was excellent!
The waiter was a little overbearing . I came to have dinner and talk with my friends and I thought waiter
We enjoyed our evening in every aspect. Food was fantastic, Maddie, our server was delightful, and conversation with friends was easy. We will be back! Might even bring a group!
Great place for a nice date. Service was outstanding. Felt it was a little overpriced. Could use more ambient lighting.
Duane greeted and seated us, professional and very nice. Maddie was our server and she was super sweet and had a great sense of humor, and she’s a fabulous server. Dakota was filling waters and bussing tables. He was really fun and had great sense of humor as well. The staff was all-around professional but fun and energetic with good attitudes! Last but not least, the food was amazing!!! The cocktails were perfect, not too strong, not too weak. We will definitely be returning!
This was a wonderful birthday dining experience. We were especially pleased with staff accommodation of vegan diets in our party, even though the menu options were limited. Definitely upscale in price, but the food quality and service made for good value.
This is our favorite place to dine for any occasion. The service is always top notch and the quality of the food always reliable.
Lovely, intimate little restaurant! Wonderful place for a special occasion!
Very nice menu selection, varied and enticing. The servings were larger than anticipated, and delicious. We shared the chicken wrapped lobster and the stuffed sole. The chicken was my favorite, very tender with delicious flavors. Service was attentive without being overbearing, and a nice quiet atmosphere for a small space. We will definitely be visiting again.
Only negative, overcharged 100 dollars. Waiting for that to be resolved
We were taken care very well. Everyone of the staff was very engaged and wanted to make sure we were taken care of. The food was very good and we are already planning our next visit.
The experience started with Maddy’s exceptional service the minute we sat down and continued throughout our dinner and desert. The appetizer, meal, and dessert was fabulous, so tasty, and would recommend Abbott’s to all who want an exceptional place to dine. I had not heard of the wine so had s couple of tasters and it was hard to chose as both were wonderful. Settled on Maddy’s recommendation as was not disappointed. Same goes with Patty’s Riesling.
The perfect place for your special someone. Not a family restaurant, couples only. Excellent food and friendly service.
The staff was welcoming, efficient, and friendly, but most important, they were very knowledgeable in their menu, and drinks. the drinks were truly hand crafted, and well balanced. vine selection is plentiful, and not pretensions. We settled on a local cabernet from Columbia valley, which was recommend by our server by our description of what we like. It directly hit the mark. My stake was cooked to perfection, exactly as ordered. The sides were prepared well, nice balance, and proportionally appropriate.
the service was attentive, not hovering, providing a perfect environment for celebrating my anniversary with an upscale meal. We will be back.
This has got to be the best restaurant in Everett. We have dined here twice and both times the meals were prepared with care, were very tasty, and reasonably priced considering the quality of the fare. The wait staff were very attentive without hovering. Super dining experience and we will certainly return again and again. A must dine....
Loved this romantic place. The food was amazing, great date spot.
Great meal, and good service! Excellent cocktails, and all of our meals were very well prepared. Definitely will return for another visit!
If you want a classy place to eat in Everett Abbott's is it. Menu selections are great. We had the chicken wrapped around lobster and the crab stuffed sole. Superb presentation and prepared with care. The bar is well stocked with quality spirits and the wait staff is outstanding. We had Maddy as out wait person and she is very well versed in customer care. All in all an outstanding value and a great place to eat in downtown Everett. We'll be back weekly for sure. It's a must try exceptional restaurant and a breath of fresh air in an era of chain restaurants.
All was cooked to our liking, and delicious. Martinin's were great.
Exceptional service, Maddie!! Fantastic food!! Wonderful experience!!
Great spot!! The atmosphere was warm and friendly, the staff attentive and fun, and the food exceeded expectations. Some friends from Portland came up and we had a fantastic time. Our server gave us the perfect insights into dishes and drinks, and we enjoyed everything!! Fish done PERFECTLY, spare ribs that were moist and delicious, and the apps were amazing. Can’t wait for an excuse to go back!!! Very high recommend!!!
We are very glad to have Abbott’s in downtown Everett. The food is exceptionally good. The fillet mignon is melt in your mouth tender. The seafood is wonderfully prepared, I really enjoyed the calamari salad, and I took their recommendation to try barramundi and it was delicious! The noise level is low. The ambience is welcoming and intimate.
