    The food was excellent. I ordered marrow bones for an appetizer. For dinner I enjoyed wagyu beef which came with certificate. It’s priced per ounce and minimum is 4oz to order. I topped it with foie gras and broccolini on the side. You can order small portion of the sides, just ask them. For desert - chocolate soufflé was a treat (order it ahead, since it takes over 30 min to get). Unfortunately, they do not have non-alcoholic wines and mocktails lack any sort of creativity. The nice evening got spoiled when waiter brought the check where foie gras was charged as $90 instead of $18. When numbers are not even close, that’s definitely manual input. So make sure to inspect your checks carefully. For swanky restaurants such as 801, they do not have portable payment systems, so if you have your cards on the phone - forget about conveniently paying for your check.

    Thanks for the lovely meal and attentive service. Son reports his waygu steak was the best steak he has ever had and my petit filet was cooked to perfection. As Dale, the GM can attest, from our convo when he checked in on us (thank you), I thought I would have some leftover for the next day but, alas, no, I ate the whole thing. We moderated with a brocolini side and enjoyed the bread too. We ordered a side serving of bearnaise and dipped our steaks and brocolini into it sparing and enjoyed that. I would return when in Omaha again. I was hoping for a quality NE beef experience and 801 Chophouse delivered.

    Fantastic as always. Took my boss out for an evening dinner. Waiting staff was extremely helpful. Manager got us the perfect table. Food was excellent as always. Service staff went out-of-the-way to make sure that the experience was very special. Quite possibly the best steakhouse in Omaha.

    Our first experience at 801 was fantastic. Waiter Joshua was a pleasure, so knowledgable about the restaurant, menu, and attention to detail was top notch. My husband and I had a lovely date night dinner at a beautiful corner booth. The perfect night, incredible steaks, and we'll definitely be back

    Unfortunately we visited on a night where the service wasn’t the greatest. Very slow to respond to our table. I never got to taste test my wine and the first glass was rancid. I asked for a different glass & different wine altogether stating I could not drink the first and ended up being charged twice. Overall food was good and it was nice celebrating my husband’s birthday but disappointed in the service.

    801 Chophouse has to be by far the best service and food, especially Steak I have ever had in Nebraska. They are a little bit pricier, but well worth it. I always love when the manger comes around and wants to make sure everything is perfect, and our waiter, was amazing. i only gave them 5 stars, because it would not let me give them 10!

    The streak was tough. Stringy. Not worth $67. I love a good streak with a quality cut and don’t mind paying for it. This was not it. Service was great good people. All steaks where left on the grill two long and the middle was even warm.

    We had early reservations which probably contributed to the low noise level. My wife and I shared the shrimp cocktail, broccolini, and lobster tail. We know 801 is better known for the beef but their preparation of seafood is always spectacular.

    Great food and service! Nice for special occasions. Quite expensive but has a good deal on Sunday Super. Excellent wine selection but, again, very expensive. Would definitely recommend especially if cost is not an issue.

    This was the most memorable, delicious, dining experience I have had in ages. The food was spectacular, the service impeccable. Our waiter Josh was knowledgeable, attentive, and so very accommodating. The steak tartare was FABULOUS! I shared the dry aged porterhouse with my sister in law. The flavor was amazing! Others at out table had the prime rib and scallops. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals…and the sides were just fantastic - creamed spinach, potatoes au gratin, brussel sprouts, and a chocolate soufflé to end the meal. i cannot stress enough, if you are in Omaha, 801 Chophouse is the place to go. Don’t bother going anywhere else.

    Great place to Dine! Highly recommend will be going back! Colleen was our waitress, she was friendly, attentive, very knowledgeable on everything and made the experience special! I would recommend 801 to anyone visiting Omaha and staying downtown.

    Anyone looking for an elevated dining experience, 801 Chophouse is the perfect place to go. We went there for my husband's 71st birthday because he wanted the perfect steak dinner. We both think the beef served there was the best we ever had. The experience was awesome, and the service was the best when they signed and gave him a personal printed menu as a keepsake and the cheesecake was very good as his favorite birthday dessert! Finally, the valet was an added surprise since we don't usually go downtown for special occasions because it's hard to find parking. You won't be disappointed going there instead of out west for a great dining quality and experience worth the extra money spent.
