   Being intrigued by their social media presentation, I just had to make a res when I visited from Atlanta last Friday 4/25. I was very disappointed that like many BOB’s they didn’t have food/ingredients for drinks/food on their menu. The negatives- No deviled eggs, No ingredients for the frozen drink “Snoh Aalegra” or the “Ginuwine”, No smoke coming from the Smokey Robinson drink either and the 🍓 lemon drop and Doja Cat were VERY weak AND lastly No hookah, though they have a sign displaying that they do have it sitting on the table. (Y’all have GOT to do better!) The positives- When making the statement that I was already disappointed, my server was sweet and very apologetic. The appetizers they did provide were pretty good (Atl wings, fried green tomatoes and the “get your roll on egg rolls”). Entrees were just as good as well (oxtails were slammin’ and very tender, pasta was good, fish and grits were a hit and the fried chicken was hittin’ too) Overall, the ambiance was straight, however, you can tell the were struggling with staff being present to assist. Prices were like Atlanta pretty much with it all being about $300. To sum it up, I’ll say don’t get excited bc they just may not have what you see on social media, however, you won’t be disappointed by the taste!

   Made a reservation for 9:30 pm. Once there and seated, we were told we needed to make our food order quickly because the kitchen was closing. Why allow for a late reservation if they were closing the kitchen? Chicken tenders were hard and Luke warm. The order came with collard greens, I received a small sample cup with cold collard greens. French fries were hot and tasty. The highlight of our reservation was the young lady that waited on us. She was polite, attentive and posed an awesome sense of humor, she is a keeper. I will not be ordering food there in the future.

   Though several menu items were unavailable and the menu outdated (advertising last fall’s specials), the service was excellent and food was great.

   We came for a mother daughter brunch date. They had the lounge side open in full swing with a buffet. We waited instead for the restaurant because it was more of the atmosphere we were going for. After waiting for about 40 minutes we were seated by a polite young lady. She informed us most menu items were unavailable such as wings or eggs. This became a major disappointment after seeing fresh food was being prepared and walked over to the other side. Large orders of wings floated past our table to replenish the buffet every so often. I would try this again but never on a weekend. We enjoyed the artwork and culture hold the mid day club.

   Some of the best food we’ve had in Tampa ever! The service was a bit slow, but it was a jam packed Saturday night and the staff was friendly and personable. Not a single person slacking or on their phone. The food was amazingly seasoned and cooked to perfection. We were in and out in a timely manner even with the business. Definitely will return!

   Upon booking a reservation, we were unfortunately required to wait for at least 20-30 minutes to be seated. However, the establishment accommodated us by allowing us to dine in the buffet section, which I was unaware of as this was my first visit. Overall, the experience was exceptional, encompassing the quality of the drinks, food, and service. Initially, we had planned a casual gathering to enjoy the food, but the entire evening transformed into an unforgettable cinematic experience that I would eagerly repeat. The owner demonstrated exceptional hospitality by repeatedly checking on us and expressing gratitude for our presence. The waitress, Alyssa, was particularly attentive and ensured that my friends and I were having a pleasant time. Additionally, I appreciated the recommendations for beverages that enhanced our dining experience. I would have to say that I will be returning again! 10/10

   The food and vibe were wonderful. We had reservations at 12:30 and arrived a few minutes before and were seated. At 12:55 I had to go up to the hostess stand because no one had come to our table. Our table wasn’t the only one that had to complain. Food was delicious. Just don’t eat here if you are on a time crunch. I would still go back.

    My date night experience was ruined by 7th + grove staff. My girlfriend and I came on a Tuesday evening looking to try out the special offers and our service was terrible from beginning to end. When we ordered our drinks the server brought out the wrong drink for my gf and it took forever for us to get a replacement drink for her. I also ordered another beer once our entree was brought out and it took so long for me to get it that we decided to just pack up and leave (I never got the beer). Considering the fact that it was only us and two other tables there at the time we were very confused on why we were waiting so long for drinks. Quite honestly, the only reason we stayed to even try the entree was because the food was so good, but unfortunately that was the only positive part of our experience of our date night at this establishment.
